Homemade KFC Chicken in the Oven – So Easy, So Tasty! Ingredients: 8 chicken drumsticks or thighs 1 cup buttermilk 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder ½ tsp dried thyme ½ tsp dried basil 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper ¼ tsp cayenne (optional) Olive oil spray or melted butter Directions: Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it. In a bowl, mix flour and all spices. Remove chicken from buttermilk, shake off excess, and coat in seasoned flour. Arrange on the baking sheet. Lightly spray with olive oil or brush with melted butter for crispiness.
