*WHEN PARENTS FAIL – HOW LACK OF DISCIPLINE IS CREATING A GENERATION OF LOST SOULS*

There was a time when parents raised warriors. Now, they raise weaklings.

A time when children feared their fathers’ discipline. Now, children insult their fathers online.

A time when a slap from your mother could reset your entire future. Now, mothers watch their children twerk for clout.

The world changed—not because evil became more powerful, but because parents became weaker.

Children no longer have boundaries. No fear. No respect. No discipline.

    And the result?

A generation that mocks God, worships vanity, and embraces sin with pride.

    *BRUTAL THREAD:*

    1. *CHILDREN WITHOUT DISCIPLINE BECOME ADULTS WITHOUT SELF-CONTROL*

A child who never hears “NO” at home will hear “NO” from life when it’s too late.

The boy who was never told to control his desires will become a man addicted to sex, gambling, and laziness.

The girl who was never told to respect herself would become a woman who exposes her body for money and attention.

The child who was never corrected for lying will become an adult who deceives, manipulates, and steals.

If parents don’t discipline their children, the world will punish them later.

    2. *THE FALL OF FAMILY VALUES IS THE RISE OF MORAL DECAY*

    What happened to parenting?

Mothers used to teach daughters how to be women of dignity. Now, they encourage them to “secure the bag” by any means.

Fathers used to teach sons how to be responsible men. Now, they are absent—either too weak, too distracted, or too scared to lead.

So children are now learning from TikTok instead of home, and the internet is raising a generation with no fear of God and no sense of direction.

    3. *PARENTS WHO SPOIL THEIR CHILDREN ARE DESTROYING THEM*

Giving your child everything they want is the fastest way to ruin them.

A child who never worked for anything will grow up lazy and entitled.

A child who was never disciplined will grow up thinking life has no consequences.

A child who was never corrected will grow up believing they can do anything and get away with it.

Now, we have a world full of adults who can’t handle rejection, can’t handle failure, and can’t handle life.

    4. *WHEN PARENTS CHOOSE FRIENDSHIP OVER LEADERSHIP, CHAOS FOLLOWS*

Many parents today want to be their child’s friend instead of their leader.

    So instead of saying:
"This behaviour is wrong!" They say, "She’s just expressing herself."
"You must work for what you want!" They say, "Let me buy it for you."
"This is not acceptable!" They say, "I don't want to hurt their feelings."

And just like that, we have a generation of weak people who cry over small problems and break down when life gets tough.

    5. *THE NEW GENERATION LOVES PLEASURE BUT HATES RESPONSIBILITY*

    Discipline used to be normal.

Now, a child calls it "abuse" when a parent corrects them.

Now, teachers can’t discipline students because "it’s too harsh."

Now, young people demand freedom but reject accountability.

Everyone wants to enjoy, but no one wants to work.

    And this is why:

The streets are full of lazy men chasing quick money.

Social media is full of young girls selling their bodies for attention.

Homes are full of broken families because nobody was raised to be a good partner or parent.

    6. *WHEN CHILDREN LOSE DISCIPLINE, THEY LOSE THEIR FUTURE.*

Many young men today are addicted to masturbation, pornography, and cheap pleasure—because nobody taught them self-control.

Many young women today expose their bodies for social media likes—because nobody taught them self-respect.

Many young people today are broke, weak, and mentally unstable—because nobody taught them how to survive hardship.

The devil is not the problem. The parents failed.

    7. *IF WE DON’T FIX PARENTING, THE WORLD WILL GET WORSE.*

If we continue like this, the next generation will:
    Have no morals.
    Have no work ethic.
    Have no fear of God.

Society will collapse—not because of demons, but because of poor parenting.

    *BOTTOM LINE:*

If you are a parent, discipline your children.
If you are young, discipline yourself.

Because the world will not be kind to those who were raised without discipline.

    *Let’s raise warriors, not weaklings.*

*Pls forward this to family and friends, especially to those with young and teenage children*
    *May GOD help us all.*

  • DAY34 NIG2USA ON BICYCLE 🇺🇲
    STILL HEADING TOWARDS ABIDJAN 🇨🇮
Today, like yesterday, I passed another vast stretch of land, this time covered with palm trees, planted, growing, thriving.

I haven’t even reached the major cities yet, but these rural areas already say so much about this country. They’re not abandoned, they’re not wasted, they’re working. Growing. Producing.

Since I began this journey, I’ve ridden through Hundreds of kilometers, but I’ve never seen so much unused land put to good use like I’m seeing here in Côte d’Ivoire. And I can’t lie, I’m loving it. Charle, I'm super inspired

And I’m also a bit heavy hearted, because I’m Nigerian, and where I come from, agriculture is our major source of livelihood too, but we have so much land wasting.

    So much potential left untouched.
So many dreams buried in dry, empty fields.

If only my people back home could see this
If only we could borrow this mindset, to plant, to grow, to protect the land, and to believe again in what we already have.

    Africa is so beautiful.
Not just in nature, but in possibility.
This ride is showing me a side of our continent many don’t get to see, and I want the world to witness it with me.

From palm trees to purpose, from soil to story.
We are more than struggle, we're abundance.

It's getting dark but we need to find a safer place to camp. Let’s keep going. 🇺🇲.

ADC: N712B Airport Renovation Wasteful, Misplaced Priority.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has condemned the Tinubu administration’s plan to spend over ₦712 billion on the renovation of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. In a statement issued by Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC’s National Publicity Secretary, the party questioned whether the renovation plan and its associated cost had received approval from the National Assembly, describing the expenditure as reckless and insensitive.
    The full statement read:
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) strongly condemns the outrageous ₦712 billion airport renovation project announced by the Tinubu administration as another brazen act of fiscal recklessness and official insensitivity which further confirms how far this APC government is removed from the reality of the suffering people of Nigeria.
It is hard to understand how expending ₦712 billion into renovating an airport that already received significant upgrades in recent years makes fiscal sense in a country where public universities wallow in chronic austerity, where basic medical care, has become a luxury that only the rich can afford, where millions of Nigerians have been thrown into poverty as a result of government’s ill-conceived policies
The Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos remains functional and serviceable. What the aviation sector needs is not another gold-plated terminal, but proper maintenance, enhanced efficiency and the expansion of regional airports to boost real connectivity across Nigeria.
Just for context, the amount of money that is being funnelled into the renovation of one airport, approximately $500 million is the same total amount that was spent to build four new airports in Abuja, Lagos, Kano and Port Harcourt in 2014 via a Chinese loan that is yet to be repaid.
This same Murtala Muhammed Airport had a new international terminal that was commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari in March 2022. According to media reports at the time, the said facility was built on a landmass of approximately 56,000 square metres, with 66 check-in counters and has the capacity to process 14 million passengers annually. It was said to have been equipped with “censored conveyor belt, seven jet bridges, 10 ultra-modern cooling systems, heat extraction in the baggage hall, ample space for duty free shops and banks, recreational areas for children, 22-room hotel for stop-overs among others.”
It is important to note that although this airport was designed to process 14 million passengers in a year, available reports indicates that the airport handled only 6.5 million passengers in 2024, less than half of its capacity.
We therefore wonder if it is this same airport that is now scheduled for renovation or another one. The inescapable conclusion is either that the previous APC government had lied to Nigerians about what it did with the Lagos Airport or the current government is about to spend such a huge amount of money on a project that already exists.
Perhaps even more troubling is the fact that this massive expenditure—approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on July 31, 2025—has not received any backing from the National Assembly and it is not in any of the approved budget. Is this now how the government spends close to a trillion naira—without appropriation, without scrutiny, and without the consent of the Nigerian people through their elected representatives? We demand to know: under what constitutional provision is this money being spent?
How did we get here, that the government of Nigeria, even in the face of extant accountability laws, is able to approve expenditure of this magnitude with no public breakdown of costs, no transparent procurement process, and no national debate? many.
Let us be clear, ₦712 billion could instead deliver transformative impact by building over seven fully equipped teaching hospitals, funding free basic education across three geopolitical zones for five years, providing rural electrification to thousands of communities, or rehabilitating thousands of kilometers of federal roads and bridges.
The ADC calls on all Nigerians to reject this frivolous project. We therefore demand its immediate suspension, a full independent audit of the proposed budget, and a redirection of funds toward projects that would directly improve the lives of ordinary citizens, which should be the priority of any government.
We warn that continued wasteful spending amid widespread hunger, economic hardship, and rising insecurity will only continue to widen the trust deficit between the people and the government. A government that has struggled to justify its need for loans cannot indulge in wasteful spending such as this.
Enough is enough. Let Nigeria work for the many, not just the privileged few.

We therefore demand its immediate suspension, a full independent audit of the proposed budget, and a redirection of funds toward projects that would directly improve the lives of ordinary citizens, which should be the priority of any government.

  • Our Levels Of Tolerance For Corruption In Africa Is Amazing -Lumumba
    ***
"Corruption is something that we talk about. It is something that we complain about. It is something whose negative impact we recognize. It is something that even the corrupt acknowledge it’s a bad thing. But the irony and the tragedy at once is that those who engage in corruption love it. The tragedy at once is that those of us who do not engage in it directly accommodate it.

"Our levels of tolerance for corruption in Africa is amazing. Long time ago, a great Greek philosopher said that it is in the nature of man to hang the small thieves and to elect the great ones into public office. We do that in Uganda, we do that in Kenya, we do that in Tanzania, we do that in Africa. And that is why Africa remains the poorest continent on earth." -Professor Patrick Lumumba, Kenya

  • Army Chief probes viral video on alleged poor feeding of Troops

The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede has ordered an investigation into the viral video of soldiers expressing frustration over poor feeding by operational commanders.

In the viral video, some soldiers could be seen displaying food items allegedly sent to them by their higher command, suggesting dissatisfaction with the quality and quantity of the foodstuffs.

Reacting to the video, the acting Director, Army Public Relations, Lt.-Col. Appolonia Anele, said it is being treated with the highest level of seriousness.

Anele assured both personnel and the general public that while the authenticity and context of the video were yet to be fully ascertained, the matter was being treated with the seriousness it deserved.

“Consequently, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has ordered a thorough and detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

In line with his commitment to transparency and accountability, the outcome of the investigation will be made public upon conclusion,” she assured

According to the Acting Director, the COAS reiterated that troops’ welfare remains his topmost priority, in line with his Command philosophy.

The statement encouraged personnel to utilise established and appropriate military channels to present their concerns or complaints, especially on welfare services.

“The use of unauthorised platforms to express grievances, particularly on operational matters, is highly discouraged and considered a breach of military ethics and discipline,” he warned.

He, therefore, reassured all personnel of Nigerian Army and the public that he will continue to uphold the highest standards of leadership accountability, troops welfare and institutional integrity in fulfilment of its constitutional mandate.

“The wellbeing and effectiveness of the Nigerian soldier remain central to our ongoing transformation efforts and operational success,” the COAS assured.
