• The most intelligent family in England and certainly in the world, is African and originally from Nigeria. They are in the Guinness Book of Records as the most intelligent family in England.

In the Imafidon family, there are twins Peter and Paula, who obtained the equivalent of high school at the age of 9 and became the youngest to attend the University of Cambridge, where they broke the record for mathematics at this university.

In addition, both are national champions in sports disciplines. The funny thing is that this record was brought before them by their older sister Cristina Imafidon, who had obtained high school at the age of 11 and at 14 was pursuing a masters degree in mathematics and statistics.

But this is not all, there is also sister Samantha Imafidon who was in 3rd grade at 8 years old. And who is the UK national 100m champion? Imafidon children break all records. His father is a famous professor at Oxford University

  • Sickle cell anemia is one of a group of inherited disorders known as sickle cell disease.

It affects the shape of red blood cells, which carry oxygen to all parts of the body. Red blood cells are usually round and flexible, so they move easily through blood vessels.

In sickle cell anemia, some red blood cells are shaped like sickles or crescent moons.

These sickle cells also become rigid and sticky, which can slow or block blood flow

Major symptoms of a sickle cell crisis.

    1. Breathing problems (shortness of breath or pain when breathing or both)

    2. Severe bone pains (Vaso-occlusive crisis).

    3. Headache or dizziness/Extreme tiredness

    4. Painful erections in males.

    5. Weakness or a hard time moving some parts of your body.

6.Yellowness of the skin or eyes (jaundice)

#FAFORON will reduce the incidence of SICKLE CELL CRISIS.
Note: Faforon doesn't change the genotype but there will be no more crisis.

    2. That is, a liter of petrol ⛽️ is costing 0.836 USD more in Zambia compared to Angola

    3. Angola is among Africa's Top 4 largest producers of crude oil in Africa, and ranked 18th globally in December 2024

    4. The country's production averages 1.2 Million Barrrels per Day (in 2024)

    5. Angola's daily consumption is estimated as about 150,000 barrels per day of oil

    6. Now, Angola exports has averaged 1.07 Million Barrrels per Day (in 2024) and generated 31.4 Billion USD

    7. Angola's top exports market for the crude oil include China (47%), Spain (8%), Netherlands (6%) India (6%) and France (5%)

    8. Now, Zambia imports nearly 2 Million MTs of petroleum products (2024 estimate), mainly from Middle East, nearly 7,000 KMs away worth nearly 1.8 Billion USD with a liter averaging 0.9 liter at landing (could slightly vary as this landing cost is my estimate)

    9. Now, even if Zambia was to import petrol from Angola at pump price (0.327 USD), it would still save about 0.6 USD (compared from importing from UAE).

    10. Zambia shares 1,110 KMs of border with Angola, and both are members of SADC and the distance between the two capitals us 2,300 KMs.
Intra Africa trade will play a big part in improving the living conditions of our people.
Wake up Africa, we have to think and act wisely.

  • *GOSPEL REFLECTION: Rejecting the evil one*
    _June 4, 2025_

_“I gave them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the Evil One.” (John 17:14–15)_

Unfortunately, the evil one is real. He is the highest of the fallen angels who retain their natural spiritual power given them at their creation. God created all angelic creatures with the purpose of serving His holy will. The Scripture reveals that there are nine levels or “choirs” to which these angelic creatures belong. Among the fallen angels, the highest of them directs the others, and he is traditionally given the name Lucifer or “the devil.”

One of the natural spiritual powers that these fallen angelic creatures retain is the power of influence and suggestive thought. They were created to be messengers of God’s truth to us; but, in their fallen state, they seek to communicate confusion and lies instead. Therefore, it is very helpful to understand the way the evil one and the other fallen angels communicate to us so that we can reject their lies and listen only to the voice of God.

In his rules for the discernment of spirits, Saint Ignatius of Loyola explains that when a person is going “from mortal sin to mortal sin,” the evil one and the other demons continually propose to their imagination the “apparent pleasures” and “sensual delights” that they obtain from their sin as a way of keeping them firmly controlled by that sin. However, when a person is “intensely cleansing their sins and rising from good to better,” the evil one and the other demons act in a contrary way. They will “bite, sadden and put obstacles, disquieting with false reasons, that one may not go on” in their pursuit of holiness. God and the good angels will act in the opposite way. For those immersed in sin, God and the good angels will use “the opposite method, pricking them and biting their consciences through the process of reason” so as to draw them away from sin. And when a person is, in fact, growing in holiness, God and the good angels will “give courage and strength, consolations, tears, inspirations and quiet, easing, and putting away all obstacles, that one may go on in well doing” (See mycatholic.life/ignatius).

These spiritual lessons on the discernment of spirits are of great value and will assist you on your daily struggle with sin and your daily pursuit of holiness. Understanding the deceptions of the evil one and discerning the promptings of grace given by God bring clarity to our daily lives and direction to all of our actions. The good news that is revealed by the Scripture passage above is that our Lord is fully aware of the working of the evil one, has prayed for you and will assist you as you seek to combat these lies and deceptions in your life.

*Reflect,* today, upon the importance of learning how to discern both the voice of God and the lies of the evil one. Work to discern the voice of God so that you may follow Him more faithfully. And seek to discern the lies of the evil one so that you will not be influenced by him and can directly reject him. Commit yourself to a more rigorous discernment of these spiritual experiences in your life and allow this prayer of Jesus to direct you into His holy will.

    *PRAYER:*
_My all-powerful Lord, You have conquered the evil one and provide all the grace I need to overcome his lies and deceptions. Open my mind to discern Your voice and give clarity to the voice of the evil one so that I may choose You with my whole heart and reject all that the evil one tries to say to me. • When I broke up with my ex, I did what any normal, self-preserving woman would do, I blocked him everywhere. WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, even LinkedIn (just in case professionalism wanted to misbehave).

But one day, as fate would have it, I stumbled on a video. The type that would have had both of us giggling in the DMs. I paused. Muscle memory kicked in. I ran to my block list like a woman possessed, searched his name (yes, I still remembered the spelling ), and unblocked him.

I didn’t say hi. I didn’t try to start a conversation. I just sent the video with the caption:
“Just thought this would make you happy.”

Then I blocked him again with pride.

Fast forward a few weeks, it happened again. Another video. Another wave of nostalgia. I thought to myself, “It won’t hurt.”
    So, I repeated the ritual:
    Unblocked him
    Sent the video
Captioned it: “This cracked me up, thought of you ”
Getting ready to block him again

    But this time… he replied.

    He said:
“Please don’t block me yet. I have a video I’ve been waiting to send you too.”

Something in me smiled. I thought, “Aww, maybe he never really moved on.”
My heart did a small Zanku.

    Then the video dropped.

    I clicked it, excited.
    And what did I see?

    👰🏽🤵🏽‍♂️
    A cinematic, slow-mo, drone-shot, teary-eyed, flower-petal wedding video.
    HIS wedding.

    To another woman.

The “just thought this would make you happy” queen in me froze.
The video ended with “To forever and beyond” and their lips locked like Wi-Fi and password.

    Me: 🫠

    I didn’t block him immediately.
I needed the network to understand that I was in a coma.

At that point, even my tears started buffering.

So yes, I’m the clown that unblocked a man twice…
Only for him to gift me a wedding video as a reply.

FG Backs National Campaign for Measles-Rubella Vaccine Rollout

The Federal Government has pledged robust communication and advocacy support for the upcoming nationwide Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccination campaign scheduled for October 2025.

This assurance was given by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, during a courtesy visit to his office by the Centre for Well-Being and Integrated Nutrition Solutions (C-WINS) on Tuesday.

Idris praised the team’s commitment to public health and child wellbeing. He affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to champion public sensitization efforts that will ensure the campaign’s success.

“You have come to the right place,” the Minister said. “The Ministry of Information and National Orientation exists to support and amplify initiatives like this. We will work with you and relevant agencies under our Ministry—including the National Orientation Agency and public media institutions—to ensure Nigerians are well-informed about the dangers of rubella and the need for vaccination.”

The Minister described the C-WINS presentation as both emotional and enlightening. “Today, I have learned a lot,” he said. “Many Nigerians, like myself, may be familiar with measles but are unaware of rubella and its devastating effects. That children can be born blind, deaf, or with heart defects due to maternal rubella infection is a tragedy we must work together to prevent.”

He emphasized the Ministry’s readiness to co-develop strategic messaging and support public education efforts nationwide. The Minister also encouraged the team to engage the National Assembly for broader legislative support. “We don’t want this to be a one-off meeting,” he said. “Let’s make this partnership continuous, impactful, and far-reaching.

“Prevention is better than cure—and this is one area where information truly saves lives.”

Earlier, the delegation from C-WINS, led by Project Lead Dr. Nihinlola Mabogunje, briefed the Minister on the urgent need to raise public awareness ahead of the October campaign and also delivered a comprehensive presentation on the life-saving importance of the Measles-Rubella vaccine.

She highlighted the highly infectious nature of measles, which continues to cause severe illness, complications, and death, particularly among malnourished or immunocompromised children, stating that Nigeria currently accounts for nearly 20% of global measles cases, with the Northeast region bearing over 60% of the national burden.

On rubella, she explained that it’s an often-overlooked threat, especially to pregnant women. Contracting rubella in the first trimester can result in Congenital Rubella Syndrome (CRS), leading to babies born blind, deaf, or with severe heart abnormalities.

Dr. Mabogunje assured the Minister of the vaccine’s safety and effectiveness, noting that the Measles-Rubella vaccine has been used worldwide for over 50 years and it is credited with saving more than 94 million lives. She also praised NAFDAC’s stringent regulatory review and endorsement of the vaccine for safe use in Nigeria.

Calling for unified action, she urged the Ministry to lead a national communication effort to combat misinformation and build public trust. “To reach the target of 95% vaccination coverage, we need accurate, trusted, and consistent messaging delivered through the channels that everyday Nigerians rely on,” she said.

In response, the Honourable Minister directed that the Ministry’s communication team collaborate closely with C-WINS to co-create culturally sensitive campaign materials that will be disseminated through both public and private media channels nationwide.

  • Breaking News: Epe in Tension as LG Chair Suspends Installation of New Olu-Epe, Cancels Eid Celebrations

    –Lagos Reporters

Tensions are rising in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State as the Council Chairperson, Hon. Surah Animashaun, has officially suspended the installation of a new Olu-Epe following a succession dispute involving two rival claimants.

The local government boss, in a letter addressed to the Grand Chief Imam of the community on Tuesday, also announced the suspension of all Eid-al-Adha (Ileya) and Jumat celebrations at the Epe Central Mosque and Eid Ground in Oke Balogun.

This development comes in the wake of the passing of the immediate Olu-Epe of Epe Kingdom, Oba Shefiu Adewale, who died on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the age of 86.

According to Animashaun, the ongoing tussle between Chief Adeniyi Kadri Odedeogboro and Chief Iskilu Olajide Ikuforiji—both of whom are laying claim to the throne—has created significant security concerns within the community.

    Her statement reads:
“Sequel to the dual installation of the new Olu-Epe of Epe Kingdom on June 2, 2025, which is legally null and void due to the recent passing of Oba Shefiu Adewale, I am writing to inform your office that High Chief Adeniyi Kadri Odedeogboro and High Chief Iskilu Olajide Ikuforiji, both parading themselves as the newly installed Olu-Epe of Epe Kingdom, are hereby suspended till further hearing from the authorities.”

She added, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, security concerns, and public health issues, the Eid-al-Adha and Jumat services are hereby cancelled at the Epe Central Mosque and Eid Ground in Oke Balogun.”

The chairperson emphasized that the suspension is a precautionary measure to prevent clashes between the loyalists of both claimants and to maintain peace in the area.

Recall that Oba Shefiu Adewale, prior to his ascension as monarch, served as Otun-Balogun and later Balogun of Epe Kingdom before being crowned as Olu-Epe. His death was confirmed by High Chief Odedeogboro Balogun, Musiliu Adeniyi, who disclosed that the late monarch was buried the same day, in line with Islamic rites.

The Epe Kingdom now awaits clarity from traditional and legal authorities on the rightful successor to the throne.

Lagos Reporters will continue to bring updates on the unfolding situation as the royal succession crisis develops.

    And you stay unbothered.

When you know who you are, You let them go. You let them judge. You let them misunderstand. And you stay unbothered. 💯❤️

  • No more broken engagements! It's your turn to get married soon in Jesus' name!

May the Lord connect you with your own soul mate, whom you will love spirit, soul and body!

May you continually remain in love, may your love not run dry

You shall both live in health and prosperity all the days of your life till you are 120 years old in Jesus' name!

In the name of Jesus, you shall not d!e young!

Your spouse shall not d!e young!

You shall not become a widow/widower at a young age in Jesus' name!

You shall not beg to feed your family!
