TODAY'S WORD OF GOD: "For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. Ecclesiastes 9:12" Mankind was created to live in the present. The Lord Almighty is the only one who has the ability to live in the past, present, and the future because He is the creator of the times, seasons, and events therein. As children of God, we can only plan for the future and hope in the Lord that the future will be great. It is good to be aware that there are good times and evil times; it is our duty to pray for good times and acknowledge them, use them, and thank God when they come. It is also our duty to pray against the evil times and be fully prepared so that when they come, we can endure them, thank God for grace, and continue to praise Him for giving us life. Dearly beloved, what do you do during evil times? Complaining during evil times only make them worse. Remember, all things work together for good to them that love God. 1Thes 5:18. And also, in all things, give thanks to God for that might just be His will concerning you at that time. Romans 8:28. What do you do in good times? do you behave like the foolish rich man described in the bible? Luke 12:16-21 May God give us insight to know the times and seasons of our lives, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Be time conscious! Isaiah 5:7" Bearing good fruits is always a delight to the Lord. God has a nature of fruitfulness and blesses His children with fruit-bearing ability (Genesis 1:28). We are the righteousness of God, and He has endowed us with the ability to make good judgments; righteousness and justice are fruits God wants us to bear in our homes, places of work, society, and nation. Dear beloved, you and I are the plants of God; He has made us in His image to be a blessing wherever we find ourselves. Let us fight for the oppressed and the vulnerable in society. Heart of gratitude As Christians, we should often review our past life and recall with gratitude the precious deliverances that God has wrought for us: * Supporting us in trial, * Opening ways before us when all seemed dark and forbidding, * Refreshing us when ready to faint. We should recognize all of them as evidences of the watchcare of heavenly angels. In view of these innumerable blessings, we should often ask, with subdued and grateful heart, "What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits toward me?" Psalms 116:12.
