As we get to the end of another week and month, we thank God for preserving us.

Is it just me, or it seems time is flying. 2025 just started and the first 5 months are over already.

Well, today on Wahala Never Finishes, let's visit a HUSBAND STORE that was just opened recently in Douala.

A store that sells husbands has just opened in Douala where a woman may go to choose a husband from among many men. The store is composed of 6 floors, and the men increase in positive attributes as the shopper ascends the floors.

There is, however, a catch. As you open the door to any floor you may choose a man from that floor, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down except to exit the building.

So a woman goes to the shopping center to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 – These men have jobs. The woman reads the sign and says to herself, “Well, that’s better than my last boyfriend, but I wonder what’s further up?” So up she goes.

The second floor sign reads: Floor 2 – These men have jobs and love kids. The woman remarks to herself, “That’s great, but I wonder what’s further up?” And up she goes again.

The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 – These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking. “Hmmm, better” she says. “But I wonder what’s upstairs?”

The fourth floor sign reads: Floor 4 – These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking and help with the housework. “Wow!” exclaims the woman, “very tempting. BUT, there must be more further up!” And again she heads up another flight.

The fifth floor sign reads: Floor 5 – These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the housework, have a strong romantic streak and love God. “Oh, mercy me! But just think… what must be awaiting me further on?” So up to the sixth floor she goes.

The sixth floor sign reads: Floor 6 – *You are visitor 53,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please*

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*God doesn't hold back any good thing from those who walk with Him intimately on this earth*

MESSAGE
There is so much to learn from this foremost elder of the Old Testament, Enoch: he was the first to establish an uncommon intimacy with God in His generation.

Today's text tells us that he walked with God in such a way that God had to personally take him out of the earth.

He fought odds no doubt to walk with God in an unconventional way. He walked with God like nobody before him ever did, therefore God showed him a special mercy like no other before him.

It was his level of intimate walk with God that brought him to the realm of walking into the celestial city without seeing death. He was one among the few that the earth was not worthy of keeping.

There's a dimension of intimacy with God that will make an individual enter the realm of exceptional experiences reserved only for selected few.

Enoch was one among the elders that obtained a good report by depending on what God told them.

And for 300years of consistent intimacy with God he pleased God all the way that God decided that he must eat of the tree of life while still on earth: a privilege that Adam and Eve lost in the garden through their disobedience.

Elijah the Tishbite was another person who had a similar experience by his level of uncommon intimacy with God, he too was specially taken out of the earth without tasting death.

The Bible says in:
Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Walking with God is the exceptional privilege of humans that is greatly desired by Angels. They would gladly give anything to have a personal walk with God. Cease the moment today and begin a deep and intimate walk with God that is beyond normal.

ACTION STEPS
1. Be determined to be different in this crooked generation by being uncommonly devoted to God.
2. Be deliberate on daily basis to ask for the grace to keep on following the Lord faithfully till the end.
3. Be committed to making God known in your generation by touching lives, one life at a time on daily basis.

PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for today's devotional guide. Set my heart ablaze for you and keep me burning perpetually for you in Jesus name. Amen.

Before you date her.

You have to understand that she is damaged.

There are days where she is triggered easily, and struggles with particular things.

There will be times where she won’t talk to anyone, and shut most people out.

She isn't going to be able to trust you for certain amount of time, because everyone has left her, cheated on her or chose someone else over her, so she will need more reassurance than the average person.

She will need you to keep choosing her on a daily basis.

She will need you to stop what you're doing and reply to her in depthly when she texts you asking ”do u still want me?”

She's "alot" and she knows this, but there was a time in her life where happiness flourished like never before and the glass was filled to the brim with love and positivity until someone came along and mistreated her.

It's not going to be easy, but once you show her.... that your intentions your genuine and you will stay by her side through everything in life, then you will experience one of most purest forms of love in existence
