  • Renowned/Award winning FIFA referee, Salima Mukansanga, was in charge of VAR last night in the WAFCON final match between host country, Morocco vs Nigeria.

Salima is not the type of referee to overlook just any act, much less in a more crucial game like the final match of the just concluded tournament.

About VAR cancelling the penalty, the center referee, no offence, did a marvelous job with the officiating and was fair with both sides, but what she had seen as handball, was in deed not handball.

Now let me state the handball rules in football.

“According to latest IFAB handball rules of FIFA, if the ball touches a player’s hand while the hand is vertical/parallel and behind the player’s trunk, it will not count as a penalty.

Another reason why that call was void by VAR, was because the Moroccan player was too close to the Nigerian player, hence it counted as a hand to ball instead of ball to hand.

Look at this photo clearly. It would only take en experienced referee to make a decision, and this was where Salima Mukansanga showed her prowess.

Thank you Salima for making the right call.
We’ve also known you to be fair and just.

  • — Asisat Oshoala

Once A Gooner Is Always A Gonner! ⚪️

Her Profile Below Isn’t Only Overwhelming but also Intimidating!
She has won virtually everything to be won in Football. She’s Arguably the most decorated Female Athlete & Footballer from Nigeria .

Her Names are Asisat Lamina Oshoala. She’s a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for National Women's Soccer League club Bay FC and the Super Falcons Nigeria national team.

There are some uncomfortable discussions I am willing to have when this woman finally retires.

We all grew up wanting to ball like some African idols like Eto, Drogba, Jay Jay, Kanu, etc. I tell you, almost every young African female footballer looks up to this lady right here.

Her achievements are so loud that she doesn't need to speak for herself. It speaks for her.

    — 6x African Player of the Year (Record)
    — 4x WAFCON champion (2nd most)
    — 3x La Liga champion
    — 3x Copa Del Reina champion
    — 3x Spanish Super Copa champion
    — 2x UCL champion
    — 2x Chinese League champion
    — 1x English FA Cup champion
    — BBC World's Women Footballer of the Year (2015)
    — African Women's Youth Player of the Year (2014)
    — African Women's Championship Golden Ball (2014)
    — African Women's Championship Golden Boot (2016)
    — FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Golden Boot (2014)
    — FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Golden Ball (2014)
    — Primera División Top scorer (2021–22)
    — Chinese Women's Super League Top scorer (2017)
    — IFFHS CAF Best Woman Player of the Decade (2011–2020)
    — IFFHS All-time Africa Women's Dream Team (2021)
    — IFFHS CAF Women's Team of the Decade (2011–2020)
    — IFFHS Women's CAF Best Player of the Year (2020 and 2021)
    — IFFHS Women's CAF Team of the Year (2020, 2021, 2023)
    — Queen of The Pitch Award (2014)

For a long time, she has already certified her spot as the greatest African female footballer of all time, but she is already to me, a Top 10 African footballer, dead or alive, male or female.

    Keep It Up!

  • Mikel Obi: After Africa Cup Triumph, Nigeria Women Should Now Aim for the World Cup

"I believe it's time for the Nigeria women's team to start targeting the FIFA Women's World Cup. They've already proven their dominance in Africa by winning the Women's Africa Cup of Nations again. The only major trophy left for them to conquer is the World Cup. Congratulations to them for this incredible achievement once more." — Mikel Obi

  • Chelsea Didn't Deserve Club World Cup Title - Garry Neville

Football TV TALKATIVE Garry Neville has stated that Chelsea didn't earn the FIFA Club World Cup Trophy they won against PSG in USA two weeks ago

Neville believes that the Blues were merely lucky and that PSG were not at their Rhythm in the final

Gary Neville: “I believe Chelsea didn’t truly earn that trophy — luck was clearly on their side. If you watch their matches during the FIFA Club World Cup closely, you’ll notice it wasn’t dominance, it was fortune. Even in the final, PSG didn’t perform the way we know they can. If PSG had played like they did in earlier games, I honestly don’t think Chelsea would have even managed to score a goal.”

    Is Neville Right

  • 🗣 Jose Mourinho:

"Okay, this Club World Cup also highlighted a kid who also had a great season at Chelsea, Cole Palmer."

"But this run to the semi-finals reminded me every time I went to the US for pre-season with Real Madrid, with Inter, it reminded me of those games we played there."

"So, I think this World Cup title is only important for Chelsea, as they'll sell a lot of jerseys with the logo there'."
