• Some Manchester United fans are deceiving themselves with the notion that Benjamin Sesko rejected Arsenal...

Let me make this clear to those Manchester United fans...

    1. Benjamin Sesko never rejected Arsenal, he was scared of playing ahead of Kai Havertz after he saw Kai Havertz demolish Chelsea at Emirates Stadium.. He felt Kai Havertz won't make it easy for him and that's low mentality while on the other hand Viktor Gyokeres was confident of taking the number 9 role at Arsenal.

    2. Benjamin Sesko or his agent never came out to say they don't want Arsenal but RB Leipzig and his agent were confused on what to do while Viktor Gyokeres' agent and the player made it public that they only wanted Arsenal...

3.Viktor Gyokeres had a better season than Benjamin Sesko last term in all output of the season

4 95% of Arsenal fans wanted Viktor Gyokeres over Benjamin Sesko because of his goal contributions.

Finally Benjamin Sesko is a good player but at this point Arsenal doesn't need a prospect, we need a goal scorer and Benjamin Sesko doesn't fit into that...

Remember Manchester United has prospect in Chido Obi Martins, Holjund and even Zirskie and they are adding another prospect in Benjamin Sesko.....

  • I remember writing a piece about chido obi when he first joined Manchester United, he said he joined for proper development and game time which he wouldn't get at Arsenal whereas he was a fact he joined cos of the high wage given to him
Fast forward 12 months later, Manchester United are getting another young striker in Sesko when the already have two senior strikers ( hojlund and zirkee)
I feel sorry for chido as he will get little or no game time this coming season, his development as a striker will be limited to U21 football

Arsenal had a clear pathway for him, see how Dowman and Salmon are getting all the headlines, with their route into first team football being structured

Lastly I will say Greed and pride isn't good for a young player, chido chose a higher pay over his development and is going to suffer for that, I will him good luck anyways

  • OFFICIAL:

⚪️ Mikel Arteta has appointed Viktor Gyökeres as Arsenal’s primary penalty taker, replacing Bukayo Saka for the 2025/26 season.

Gyökeres brings a perfect penalty record from Sporting CP converting all 19 penalties without a single miss.

🫣 With Saka and Ødegaard having missed several crucial penalties in recent campaigns, Arteta is putting his trust in Arsenal’s new striker.

  • Rio Ferdinand has criticised Arsenal’s reported pursuit of Eberechi Eze, questioning where the Crystal Palace midfielder would fit into Mikel Arteta’s system.

“I don’t think Arsenal need Eze. Why do they need him? Where is he going to play?” Ferdinand said. “You’ve got Martin Zubimendi as a holding midfielder, Declan Rice on the left of the No.8 role, and Martin Ødegaard on the right.

“Then there are the wingers — Noni Madueke or Gabriel Martinelli. Eze operates in the same area as Rice. If Rice played as a holding midfielder, I’d take Eze in a heartbeat. He’d add depth and allow rotation. But if Rice gets injured, who’s the replacement? Max Dowman.”Always a hater

  • Benjamin Sesko it's true arsenal came for me but I needed a better offer and a team with vision to win trophies not just playing beautiful football - celebrating nothing at the end of every season.

I'm just 22 years old, players start thinking about their life outside football at 30 and if I should accept arsenal at this age while I'm not sure they gonna win a trophy in the next 10 years of what joy will I get remembering that move, I had no choice but to REJECT them silently.
