Recommending someone for marriage or a serious relationship is okay, but forcing your choice is not. Respect individuals autonomy in choosing their partners. Understand that a good person may not be the right partner for someone. Don’t impose your choice on others, even if they’re close to you. Give people the right to make their own decisions unless they ask for help. Limit your involvement to suggestions, don’t make it mandatory. For instance “I feel/think this lady/guy will make a good partner for you”. You don’t merge two people that have different ideology because you feel they are good. Recognize that different ideologies and mindsets can lead to division. Pray and advise, but don’t force your choice on them. It is important to respect their agency in choosing a partner.
