Salawa Abeni's first album: Gen Murtala Mohammed, made her. She became extremely popular and the Cowries started pouring in and she became extremely beautiful and black.

Switched from Malawi to Nigeria—and won WAFCON
Chioma Okafor was born in Malawi to a Malawian mother and a Nigerian father. Just a year ago, she had hoped to represent Malawi but never received a call-up. After moving to the USA, she caught the attention of the Nigerian FA which led her to reject a last minute call-up from Malawi.
