Good evening all the honorable members in the house,I want to give you latest updates about the Nigeria police pension.today leadership of Nigeria police force held a meeting with police retirees, and management of national pension commission and they discussed way out about our pension schemes.in the meeting 2 options were giving. that is either we exit from national pension schemes or they make a gigantic efforts by reform the pension.but at the end of the meeting they later concluded that from the rank of ACP to IGP will be receiving 100% of their salary as a pension and while from CSP to Constable will be receiving 80% of their salary as monthly pension.then the IGP said he is going to submit the recommendation to Mr President for approval.That is why a signal was sent today to various commands and formation by make it compulsory that all the personnel of Nigeria police force must transfer their pension schemes to Npf pension limited between now till 31st of August 2025.
