I do not understand the stick Asisat Oshoala is getting. From U17 to the Super Falcons, there was a time when Oshoala nearly carried the entire team on her back.
Of course, she's not the same anymore, and that's no big deal. At the end of the day, age catches up with us all.
If the coach has opted to keep her in the team, ostensibly for her experience, off-pitch influence and as a super sub, so be it. She obviously isn't disrupting team harmony, so this campaign to force her out of the team is unnecessary and disrespectful.
Oshoala won't be playing 90mins per match anymore, apparently, but the team still needs her.
