This all is emotional manipulation, and it is how some people evade accountability. Don’t let it break you. Dig in your heels on what you know and don’t waste your energy proving your side to people enthusiastic about misunderstanding you. Truth eventually always comes out. Just, as they say, keep your mouth shut and let your guilt shout louder than anything you could say.
