If they keep breaking your trust, or for TANGIBLE reasons, you can't and don't trust them with your financial secrets, emotional secrets, then why marry em?

Someone you can't trust with your Life ain't someone you should Marry. E go choke.

3) SOMEONE THAT ISN'T PROUD OF YOU:

For whatever reason, maybe for financial reasons, the job you do, or your family background, or a physical disability maybe, no matter what, you deserve Love, and should be with someone that is proud of you.

A person who is ashamed of you, doesn't want to be seen with you in public except in private doesn't actually Love You.

Marriage to such persons will only be full of heartache, disrespect and abuse.

4) SOMEONE YOU CAN'T PLAY WITH:

I always tell people jokingly, "Don't marry someone you can't call bighead"

Don't marry someone you can't joke and have fun with.

What is Marriage without Fun?

Miscarriage.

Even God laughs.

5) SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T FEAR GOD:

The Fear of God above all things will constrain a Man or Woman to always be nice no matter the TEMPTATION or PROVOCATION.

Fear anybody that doesn't Fear God.

If you truly value your life and wellbeing, the fear of God is one very important factor you must look out for in anybody you want to marry, not just a fine face and body.

6) SOMEONE YOU DON'T RESPECT/CAN'T SUBMIT TO:

There are people who outside the love they have for you, they CAN NEVER see themselves submitting to you or respecting you.

As much as love is beautiful, but it's not enough. So as a lady, you notice you find it very difficult to submit to your man, it's better you FIX it now or FLEE, so you don't destroy something which was meant to be beautiful.

This also goes to the guys. If you can't submit or respect her too, don't attempt Marriage.

Respect MUST be mutual!

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has made significant progress in its investigation into the Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX) fraud, which defrauded over 600,000 Nigerians of an estimated ₦1.3 trillion.

Key Developments:

Fund Recovery: EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede announced that the commission has recovered a "reasonable amount" of the stolen funds. While the exact figures remain undisclosed due to the ongoing investigation, the recovered assets were primarily held in cryptocurrency wallets, complicating the conversion back to cash .

Arrests and Legal Actions: Several suspects connected to the CBEX scheme have been arrested. Notably, Adefowora Abiodun surrendered to the EFCC in April. Additionally, a federal high court has authorized the arrest and detention of six other CBEX promoters, including Adefowora Oluwanisola, Emmanuel Uko, and Seyi Oloyede .

International Efforts: The EFCC has traced the stolen funds to at least four countries, including European nations and Cambodia. The commission is collaborating with international partners and agencies like Interpol to recover the funds and apprehend suspects who are still at large .

Challenges in Recovery: Due to the use of non-custodial cryptocurrency wallets by the fraudsters, which lack identifiable ownership, the EFCC faces challenges in tracing and converting the digital assets back to fiat currency. The commission acknowledges that full restitution to all victims may not be possible, but efforts are ongoing to recover as much as feasible .


Assurance to Victims:

The EFCC has assured affected investors that it is committed to recovering their funds and bringing the perpetrators to justice. While the recovery process may be complex and time-consuming, the commission emphasizes its dedication to ensuring that victims receive restitution .

The Federal Government of Nigeria has commenced the payment of the revised ₦77,000 monthly allowance to serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, following months of delays attributed to budgetary constraints. This increase, announced in September 2024 to align with the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024, raised the stipend from ₦33,000 to ₦77,000, effective from July 2024.

While current corps members have begun receiving the updated allowance, the government has pledged to pay the backlog of arrears to those who served during the period of the announced increment but had completed their service before the payments commenced. The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, assured that all affected ex-corps members would receive their entitled arrears, although he noted that the payments might not be immediate.

The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, reiterated this commitment, stating that the government is conscious of its promise and will handle the arrears within the budgetary provisions once funds are available.

This development comes after advocacy groups, such as the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), highlighted the non-payment of ₦77,000 to over 618,000 ex-corps members who exited the scheme between February and November 2024.

While the disbursement of the new allowance marks a significant milestone, corps members and ex-corps members continue to anticipate the resolution of pending arrears, hoping that the government follows through on its promises without further delays.
