Esther Okoronkwo has been named the Fans’ Player of the Tournament for Nigeria’s Super Falcons at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The dynamic 27-year-old forward played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s title-winning campaign, registering two goals and six assists across six games.
Her stellar performances earned her two Woman of the Match honours and the admiration of fans nationwide.
Currently playing for AFC Toronto, Okoronkwo’s consistency and calm under pressure made her a standout in a squad filled with talent.
The recognition was confirmed on the Super Falcons’ official X account, which posted, “Presenting your
