In a major breakthrough, the UT police crime branch has dismantled an international drug syndicate operating in the Tricity, arresting three foreign nationals in a high-stakes operation.
The accused were caught red-handed while attempting to smuggle narcotics into the city.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Imoru Damian (31) and Okoye Nnamdi (31), both Nigerian nationals, and Toufe Yousouf (30) from Cape Town, South Africa. Police recovered significant quantities of cocaine and amphetamine, along with a Honda City car used in the operation.

The Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) administered by PENCOM in Nigeria has proven to be a significant failure, leaving many retirees in financial distress after decades of dedicated service. Unlike the previous Defined Benefits Scheme (DBS), where retirees received a guaranteed percentage of their final salary (minus transport allowance), the CPS subjects pensioners to market risks, bureaucratic delays, and meager payouts due to poor returns on contributions. Workers who spent their entire careers in public service now face inadequate pensions, hidden charges by Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs), and the constant fear of fund mismanagement. The system’s flaws are glaring—delayed payments, lack of transparency, and exclusion of non-contributors, particularly those in the informal sector, leaving millions of elderly Nigerians without any safety net.

Nigeria must urgently revert to the old pension system or implement a hybrid model that guarantees retirees a dignified livelihood. The government should also introduce a universal pension scheme for all citizens aged 60 and above, regardless of their employment history, as seen in other progressive nations. The current CPS is exploitative, unreliable, and unsustainable, forcing retirees into poverty instead of rewarding their lifetime of service. Immediate action is needed—through legislative reform, mass advocacy, and public pressure—to dismantle this unjust system and replace it with one that truly secures the future of Nigeria’s senior citizens. The time for change is now; Nigerian workers deserve a pension system that honors their labor, not one that abandons them to in old age.

What Is In The Anointing Oil?

1. The Spirit of the Lord that triggers supernatural breakthroughs is in the Anointing Oil. 1 Sam 16:13...the Spirit of the Lord came upon him. Church Gist. Oil was poured on his head but the Spirit of the Lord came upon him and the Spirit of the Lord is the Spirit of breakthroughs. Luke 4:14,18. The Spirit of the Lord in the oil is the Spirit of breakthroughs.

- Therefore, as you are anointed today, welcome to your next level of breakthrough!

And that Spirit came upon David and in (1 Samuel) Chapter 17, he brought down Goliath. (In) Chapter 18, the women began to sing, “Saul has slain his thousand and David his ten thousand”; the battle line was drawn. Church Gist. Isaiah 45:1-3...that is, breakthroughs always follow the anointing (the Spirit of the Lord).

2. The healing power of God. We just cited that in Mark 6:7,11-12 and James 5:14-15.

3. The yoke destroying power of God. Isaiah 10:27.

- Every yoke of the wicked on anyone's life shall be destroyed today!
- Everyone targeted for death, the ones that target you will go in your place!

Isaiah 59:19. Every battle against your life in the realm of the unseen, your victory is sure!

4. The restoration power of God. After Saul was anointed, he said, “as you depart from me today, you will be told that the ass you are looking for has been found.” Church Gist. Restoration!

- Whatever you have lost to the wicked in the course of the battles of life, you are getting it back!

You have seen how somebody's job was restored after 19 years and paid all his dues all in one day. Church Gist. In the name of Jesus, whatever the enemy has stolen from you shall be supernaturally restored! Joel 2:25...only God can restore years.

- Your lost years shall be restored!
- Your stolen years shall be restored!
- In the name of Jesus, God's glory that pertains to us in redemption shall be restored to your life!

5. The exemption power of God. Psalm 105:13-15. It's done! Church Gist. He sets you and I apart from being assaulted, from being molested by the devil. Thank you Jesus!

What am I saying? The holy anointing oil is not a Church doctrine, it's a mystery of the Kingdom. When the bottle of oil you have brought is blessed, it's turned to a holy anointing oil. Church Gist. If you check in that Exodus 30:25, it was prepared like this one is prepared. But when God's Word is proclaimed on it, it is turned to a holy anointing oil.

As we round up this morning, it's our Business and Career Breakthrough Service and I told you at the beginning that there is nothing magical about breakthroughs. Church Gist. It's our positive response of faith to His commandment as a lifestyle, He keeps opening doors after doors to us.

Remember, every child of God belongs to a breakthrough family in Christ. That's what makes breakthrough our heritage. Matthew 5:13-14. We are redeemed as pacesetters and trailblazers. Church Gist. We are redeemed to show the World the way forward and the way to go. Matthew 11:11...that is, redemption makes us greater than the greatest of names in the Old Testament. We are redeemed as breakthrough entities - understand that please. It's not your ambition, it's your heritage.

Redemption makes us priests and kings to reign on the Earth. But humorously, belonging to the Winners Family, a globally renowned breakthrough family entitles everyone of us to supernatural breakthroughs in our endeavours. You are on board a plane, at whatever altitude the plane is cruising, that's where you are. This is a breakthrough family. Church Gist. The whole World recognises this place as a breakthrough family by virtue of God's presence and God leading the way. So belonging to this family makes you a breakthrough entity if you connect, if you get on board. Please get on board, get on board and get on board.

I came on board Hagin's family by impartation and delivery of the mantle. The same way his books were going round the World in different languages without stress, the same way our books are in several languages without any cost to us. Cruising at the same level. He was a relaxed soul and you all know how relaxed I am. Church Gist. You all should know how relaxed I am. He operated a debt free ministry; you know how we have been debt free all along without any gimmicks. It's one thing to hang around the airport building; it's another thing to get on board. Ava’s breath caught, but she forced her face to remain blank. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Obinna laughed—a deep, rich sound that sent an unwelcome shiver down her spine. “Your lies are getting boring.” He set the glass down with a quiet clink and circled her like a predator sizing up its prey. “Let’s try this again. Who sent you?”
Ava clenched her jaw. “Go to hell.”
He stopped behind her, his breath warm against her ear. “Already there, sweetheart.”
Then—
His fingers brushed the nape of her neck, tracing the delicate chain of the necklace she wore. Ava stiffened.
“This is nice,” he murmured, his thumb grazing her skin. “Too nice for a runaway socialite.”
Before she could react, he yanked the chain—hard. The clasp broke, and the pendant clattered onto the desk.
Ava’s blood ran cold.
The tracker.
Obinna picked it up, examining the tiny device hidden inside the locket. His expression darkened. “NDLEA? Or are you working for someone else?”
Ava’s mind raced. If they knew she was compromised, her team would be moving in. But if they didn’t…

Ava’s earrings went first—tiny listening devices. Then her bracelet—a lockpick sewn into the lining.
By the time he reached for the hidden blade strapped to her thigh, her dress was slit open to her hip, his fingers trailing far too close to bare skin.
“You’re enjoying this,” she hissed.
Obinna paused, his gaze flicking up to hers. “Aren’t you?”
Ava hated the way her pulse jumped.

Northerners Don’t Trust Peter Obi"? A Dangerous, Divisive Lie.

Former ACF Secretary General, Anthony Sani, recently claimed that Northerners do not trust Peter Obi enough to allow him to rule Nigeria, even for a single tenure. But we must ask: don’t trust him how?
Will he sell the North?
Will he dismantle Arewa?
Will he pack the North and auction it off?

This kind of narrative is not only misleading, it's deliberately dangerous. It plays directly into the hands of those who benefit from a divided Nigeria.

Let’s rewind.

Didn’t Buhari rule for 8 years?
What did he do?

Appointed an overwhelmingly northern and Fulani-dominated cabinet

Turned major security arms into ethnic extensions (NSA, Army, Police, Immigration, Customs – all headed by Northerners at one point)

Opened the borders for unchecked influx of Fulani herdsmen from Niger, Mali, Chad

Even built a rail line from Kano to Maradi in Niger Republic

Promoted grazing reserves and Ruga projects
Did Buhari not leave power? Was Nigeria handed to Fulani forever? NO. He came, he ruled, he left.

Now Tinubu has come and started what looks like a Yoruba state project:

FIRS – Zacch Adedeji

CBN – Yemi Cardoso

Customs – Bashir Adewale Adeniyi

Finance – Wale Edun

Interior – Tunji-Ojo

He will also leave when his time is up.

So what is Obi going to do that will destroy the North?
Will he cancel mosques? Abolish Ramadan?
Let’s stop the fear-mongering.

Obi is not a dictator. He cannot override the Senate, House, Judiciary, or the system. This is just another old, tired excuse to block credible leadership.

It’s 2025. Nigeria has outgrown tribal propaganda.

Obi will come, serve his term, and go. Nobody is bigger than Nigeria.
