  • First thing I don’t have much experience in dating and starting new relationships i am divorcing my partner of 28 years and i am in my 40’s. I met a guy a month or so ago, he’s been nothing but amazing and we are so similar it’s scary. We both told eachother we weren’t ready for a full commitment yet but was willing to take things slow and build a friendship. He tells me he adores me. He would text me often and we would neveree wanna sleep at night to talk, not a lot at work but that’s expected. He’s going through some things with his co parent and has been in a slump and is having a hard time. I have reassured him I’m here when he needs me. I have a bit of an anxious attachment and I’ve told him this and that i am attached more than i should be. He said he doesn’t wanna hurt me and it’s not his intentions he’s just struggling….he def has distanced himself and doesn’t text me as often and doesn’t seem as happy with me as he once was. It went from 10 to like 3. What do I do? I’m hurting but at the same time realistically i know he’s hurting too. Now i just send random texts letting him know im here and asking if he’s ok….he won’t text me back all the time. Please some guidance and please be gentle this dating stuff is foreign to me and dating back in the late 90’s is so different compared to now. What would u all do?

  • *"As smoke vanisheth, so let them vanish away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God."*
    _✝Psalm 67:3_

You will be visited by divine opportunities. Your labour shall not be in futility. Every journey of yours shall be accompanied by God's divine protection. You will forever remember this month for greatness. As this Month of June ends today, every door of sorrow is closed. Almighty Jehovah will bless you beyond imagination. Every crooked way before you is made straight. Your secret prayers are given public answers. Your hope shall not be dashed. Your life shall be meaningful. Every power assigned to end your life shall be condemned and disgraced. Your journey this month shall end in praise. Almighty God will bless your finances and make you live in abundance. Your source of joy shall not be tearful. You will never lack any good thing in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
I pray for you this last day of the Month of June that the Lord God Almighty will grant you Grace to overcome every challenge of life. This beautiful day and beyond God will grant you favour in the sight of men and women, old and young. I break into pieces the gates of bronze and cut asunder the bars of iron in your life.
You will walk in glory and beauty of HIS might. As you step out this week, the wealth that is stored in the secret places and hidden treasures will be released unto you and your family. The Almighty God, the burden bearer, will hear your humble cry and fill your heart with peace. You will get to your destination in life. You will prosper in all that you do and you shall be a blessing to your generation in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

*Have A Pleasant, Blissful And Successful Monday And Week Ahead.*

  • Designing a good market setting and structure for Obagaji, the administrative headquarters of Agatu LGA in Benue State, requires an approach that reflects the local culture, supports agriculture-based commerce, improves livelihoods, and fosters community development.

A proposal by Obagaji, Agatu Benue State page

Here is a comprehensive proposal for a modern yet culturally grounded market structure for Obagaji:

    PROPOSED MARKET NAME:

    "Obagaji Central Agro-Market" (OCAM)

    1. Location & Layout

    Location Criteria:

Central to the community, easily accessible from surrounding villages (e.g., Okokolo, Odugbeho, Aila, Usha, Olegochepo, etc.)

Near a motorable road or spot where future road development is feasible

Dry, well-drained land (avoid flood-prone areas, which Agatu has experienced)

Close to a water source for sanitation purposes

    Market Zoning Structure:

Divide the market into functional zones:

    Zone Description

Fresh Produce Zone: Yam, cassava, maize, vegetables, tomatoes

Waste Management Area: Compost and refuse collection point

    2. Physical Infrastructure

    Market Structures:

    Open stalls with zinc roofing

    Permanent shops for bigger traders

Shaded spaces using local materials (e.g., raffia/bamboo)

    Auction space for livestock sales

Cold storage unit (solar-powered, if possible) for perishables

    Toilets and washing areas

Drainage system to manage waste and runoff

    Security post and watchtower

    Warehouse/Storage rooms

    3. Market Day System

    Weekly Market Days:

Designate two major market days (e.g., every Wednesday and Saturday or the usual 5 Days as we have it today)

Promote monthly "Agatu Agro Fest" where farmers and artisans showcase produce

    4. Governance and Revenue

    Market Leadership:

    Market Union (elected traders)

    Elders’ Council (representing clans/villages)

    Women & Youth Representatives

    Agatu LGA Liaison Officer

    Revenue Streams:

    Stall/shop rentals

    Parking/ticket fees

    Cleaning and security fees

    Monthly vendor permits

    Partnerships with NGOs or cooperatives

    5. Sustainability Features

Encourage plastic-free zones (use raffia or sack bags)

    Create community composting pits

Train locals on market hygiene & waste sorting

Use solar panels for lighting and cold storage

THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING*

    1. There shall be showers of blessing:
    This is the promise of love;
    There shall be seasons refreshing,
    Sent from the Saviour above.

    *CHORUS:*
    Showers of blessing,
    Showers of blessing we need;
    Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.

    2. There shall be showers of blessing:
    Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
    Sound of abundance of rain.

    3. There shall be showers of blessing:
Send them upon us, Oh Lord!
    Grant to us now a refreshing;
Come and now honour Thy Word.

    4. There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now, as to God, we're confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!

  • THE BETRAYAL
    © Grace O.O
    Part 4
"So what have you been up to all these years?". Serena asked Jane who took a sip of wine before replying.

"Pursuing my dreams of being a recognized in the business industry. I just got back from the States after bagging my Masters in Business Administration. Dad said I would be overseeing the affairs of the company's branch at Lagos".

"Wow! I'm so proud of you Jane. How about your love life?". Serena asked.

"I'm engaged dear. Infact my wedding is in a month time". Jane replied.

    "Awwn... Congratulations baby!".

    "Thank you darling".

Serena then turned to James who was already lost in thoughts.

    "What about you?".

"What about me? I don't understand". Serena and Jane exchanged looks.

"Weren't you listening to the discussion?". Jane asked.

"Oh, not really. I'm sorry, what was the discussion about?".

"What have you been up to these days?".

"I'm in charge of the company at Abuja and Kano". He said.

"Wow... That's nice. How's your love life?". Serena seemed interested about his relationship status.

"It's kinda complicated... We broke up". He looked away.

"Oh, I'm sorry about that. What happened?". Serena probed.

"She broke his heart into a million pieces, Serena. He caught her in bed with his best friend". Jane told Serena.

"That's so cruel! How could his friend do that to him?".

"Let's leave the past alone. I'm trying to move on, please". James said curtly. Serena reached for his hands.

"I'm sorry for probing. I hope your heart heals soon".

    "I hope so".

"So tell us about you". Jane said changing the topic of discussion. Serena sighed.

"I'm working for a law firm at Ibadan. I'm currently a barrister".

"Wow! Barrister Serena Johnson". Jane teased.

    "That's me!".

    "How's your love life?".

"It's amazing. I'm already engaged but we're still making plans for our wedding". Serena said.

"That's great news! I'm happy for you. I can't wait to meet this guy who swept you off your feet". Jane replied.

    "Me too".

Hours later, Serena said she was leaving as it was getting late. The twins offered to take her to the hotel she booked for the night. On getting there, Jane gasped.

"This hotel is actually one of my Mom's conglomerate".

"Are you kidding me?". Serena exclaimed.

"I'm sure not. Let me have your contact so we can stay in touch". Jane suggested.

    "No problem".

They exchanged contacts and promised to keep in touch. When they left, she entered the hotel and went to her room. She thought about their old times together.

James had a thing for her then. He was always around her but she wasn't interested in him. Every day, she would find his letters in her locker. But she was a serious person who didn't had time for teenage romance so she didn't pay him any attention.

However when they got to their final year in secondary school, he stopped sending her letters. He was one of the popular kids in school so girls flocked around him, seeking for his attention. When he stopped sending her letters, she had mixed feelings about it. She thought he had moved on and probably didn't feel anything for her again.

But on their graduation day, something happened.

The school had organized a party for the graduands. Serena was watching her friends and classmates dancing with their partners. She wasn't interested anyways but she stayed back because of her friends.

An hour later, she got bored so she moved away from the noisy area and went behind the school hall. There were lots of trees so she went under one of the trees and plugged in her iPod. Soon she was lost in her own world, dancing all by herself.

    "You're a good dancer".

She spun round to see who the intruder was. Her eyes widened when she saw James leaning against one of the trees. She wondered how long he had been watching her.

    "Hi James".

He walked towards her and stopped right in front of her.

"Serena, why are you doing this to me?". He said softly.

    "What did I do?".

"You know what you're doing". He told her.

"Well, I don't know what I'm doing to you". She fired and made to leave but he grabbed her arm.

"Where do you think you're going?".

Serena struggled with him but he didn't release his grip on her arm.

    "Let go of me!".

"I won't. You're killing me Serena! You know how much I love you but you pretend like I don't exist. Why?". His eyes filled up, making Serena's heart melt.

"I'm sorry James, but I didn't want to be distracted".

"I understand that but couldn't you have just said something? It would have made me feel better".

"Really? James Bakare, what exactly do you want from me? You're handsome, rich and intelligent. There are lots of girls who would do anything to get your attention. Why would you bother yourself about one girl who won't pay attention to you?". Serena asked.

"I want your love, Serena". He said and leaned towards her.

She could feel the butterflies in her stomach as she remembered that day. He had kissed her with so much passion. So much for youthful exuberance, she giggled and laid on the soft bed.

That was the last time she saw him. Three days after the graduation party, she had travelled to her aunt's place and lost her phone. That was why she couldn't reach him again. But despite the fact that twelve years have passed, it seems he hadn't gotten over her. She could still see the desire in his eyes while they were at the bar. Sadly, she had Tony now.

It then occured to her that Tony hadn't called her that day. What's going on, she thought. She took her phone and called his line but it wasn't reachable.

"I just hope Linda isn't right". She muttered. Stifling a yawn, she knelt beside the bed and said her prayers.

THE BETRAYAL © Grace O.O Part 4 "So what have you been up to all these years?". Why?".
