• CHARLES PONZI.

Any day you hear of "Ponzi scheme", just remember it was named after the Italian-born con artist Charles Ponzi. This was as far back as the 1920s.
Also, anytime you hear of robbing Peter to pay Paul, remember it is the working style of any Ponzi scheme.

If they promise you a 50% return on any amount you invest, if they ever pay you, just know that it is the money of a later investor that was used to pay you.
If you invest in a Ponzi scheme and expect a return with interest, what you are indirectly implying is that you are waiting for when they will take the money of another to pay you. The problem here is that you do not want to know how the next person to whom his or her money was used to pay you will also be paid. For every Ponzi, those who organized it and their so-called victims are the same, only that they operate in different degrees. They are all self-centred, hungry for quick and easy money and they are fueled by greed.
We can argue that some people are not very educated and may not know that it is a Ponzi. But I say, if you invest 1 million naira with the belief to get double of it in two weeks or invest 100k and get 200k in one week and you are excited instead of being suspicious, then, it is not education that is the problem, it is your crude greed manifesting itself because even educated people fall for it.

So, I do not feel for anyone who has lost money in any Ponzi. You have the craze for quick money which they will get from other people to give you. The one who scammed you also has the craze for quick money which he will get from you and other people. Both of you are the same. One just outsmarted the other.

Aside from all these, there is a lesson for all of us. One thing that drives the Ponzi scheme is testimony. It is the same thing they say in religious parlance: prophecy with instant solution. It is that sort of testimony that removes hard work from you and still promises that you will reap big.
All they need is for some people to go out and tell others that "e dey work". This testimony will lure others to come and invest. Then, when you come, they will be kind enough to pay you so that you will go out and testify that "it worked for me." This is how they keep expanding until they are ready to also take your own money.

Friends, there are some testimonies that should not move you. Once they are devoid of hard work and simple reasoning, avoid them. I know we mostly do things or buy things from reviews or testimonies of others, but some testimonies are just meant to test you with money. This is why only greedy people fall big for any Ponzi scheme because they easily allow money to test them.

    Happy Easter

  • A man and his wife never føught for 25 years of their marriage.

A friend asked him how he had managed to make it possible.

    He narrated:
"We went for our Høneymoon in Australia 25 years ago
and while riding on a horse, My wife's horse jumped and my wife fell down. She got up, patted the horse's back and said
    "This is your first time"

After a while it happened again.

She patted the horse again and said: "This is your second time"

The horse did it again the 3rd time, she brought out a gūn and shøt the horse dēad.

I was so shocked and shouted at her. . . . . . . ."Are you crāzy! What's wrong with you? Why did you kīll the horse?"

  • Billionaire PRETENDS To Be A Beggar To Test Girls On Blind Date

Episode 2: The Girl Who Didn’t Care About Money – Or So He Thought…

After three failed dates, Jonathan Okoy was beginning to lose hope.

Each night, he sat on his creaky mattress, staring at the wall, thinking:
“Maybe love without money doesn’t exist anymore.”

But he wasn’t ready to give up — not yet.

Norah arranged a few more blind dates. Some women didn’t even show up after hearing he had no car. Others came, ate, and never called back. One even asked him, mid-suya bite, if he had any “hidden assets” she could manage.

Jonathan was done pretending to smile. His heart was tired.

Until one quiet evening… he met Ada.

They met at a roadside café where akara sizzled in hot oil and children ran barefoot chasing each other. Ada arrived in a simple gown and sandals, holding a book in one hand and puff-puff in the other.

“Sorry I’m late,” she smiled, brushing her hair behind her ear.
“It’s okay,” Jonathan replied, surprised. “You brought puff-puff?”
“You looked like someone who might need a snack.”

She sat, didn’t complain, didn’t ask weird questions — and she actually ate the food. No phone. No fake laughs. No side-eyes.

    They talked for hours.

Jonathan told her about doing odd jobs. She didn’t pity him. She just listened.

“Life is hard,” she said. “But people who keep going? That’s strength.”

For the first time in weeks, Jonathan laughed — a real laugh.
Ada laughed too. It felt… easy.

Before leaving, she handed him her number written on a torn page of her book.

“I don’t know your story,” she said. “But you seem like someone worth knowing.”

Jonathan watched her walk away — no heels, no pretense, no lies.

That night, he sat on his old mattress, holding the paper.
He didn’t sleep much. But he smiled a lot.

    The next day, he called.

They started spending time together — not in malls or fancy restaurants — but walking through parks, sitting by the lagoon, eating roasted corn on sidewalks.

Jonathan found himself opening up. Not fully. But slowly.

Ada spoke of dreams — how she wanted to open a book café, how she taught children on weekends, how she loved honest people. Not rich people — real people.

    Jonathan wanted to believe it.

    Weeks passed.

Then one rainy afternoon, they sat under a bus shelter, sharing groundnuts and laughing at how wet they looked.

Ada turned to him, suddenly serious.

“Can I ask you something weird?”
    “Of course.”
“If you had everything before — money, power — would you want it back?”
    “Maybe,” Jonathan said carefully.
“Just don’t let it change you,” she said. “This you… I like this version.”

    Jonathan’s heart almost stopped.

    Could she be the one?

But just as he began to hope…

    Norah called.

“Sir… there’s something you need to know about Ada.”
“What is it?” Jonathan asked, confused.
“I think… she knows who you really are.”

Billionaire PRETENDS To Be A Beggar To Test Girls On Blind Date 💔 Episode 2: The Girl Who Didn’t Care About Money – Or So He Thought… After three failed dates, Jonathan Okoy was beginning to lose hope. Each night, he sat on his creaky mattress, staring at the wall, thinking: “Maybe love without money doesn’t exist anymore.” But he wasn’t ready to give up — not yet. “You brought puff-puff?” “You looked like someone who might need a snack.” She sat, didn’t complain, didn’t ask weird questions — and she actually ate the food. No phone. No fake laughs. No side-eyes. They talked for hours. Jonathan told her about doing odd jobs. She didn’t pity him. She just listened. “Life is hard,” she said. “But people who keep going? That’s strength.” For the first time in weeks, Jonathan laughed — a real laugh. Ada laughed too. It felt… easy. Before leaving, she handed him her number written on a torn page of her book. “I don’t know your story,” she said. “But you seem like someone worth knowing.” Jonathan watched her walk away — no heels, no pretense, no lies. “Can I ask you something weird?” “Of course.” “If you had everything before — money, power — would you want it back?” “Maybe,” Jonathan said carefully. “Just don’t let it change you,” she said. “This you… I like this version.” Jonathan’s heart almost stopped. *Encouragement Paragraph:*
True leadership is not about titles or positions — it’s about action, impact, and character. Whether you lead a team, a family, a community, or just yourself, be the kind of leader who leads by example. People follow what they see, not what they hear. So rise, lead with love, strength, and integrity. The world needs more of such leadership.

  • I'M NOT PROSPEROUS BY CHANCE, IT'S BY COVENANT AND DANGEROUS ACTS OF SACRIFICE AS PROMPTED BY THE HOLY GHOST.

    - Bishop David Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo teaching during the Impartation Service of the Easter Faith Convention on Monday, 21st April narrated how he vowed his salary to God forever in December, 1987. His salary at the time was N1,386.

He said, "God's romance may be costly. He said, 'My Son, I'm pleased with you.' Oh, goose pimples all over my body. 'But what have you brought for me?' 'Lord, what do I have? Oh, my salary. I give it to you.' It was the most precious treasure of our lives then. How much was it? 1,386 Naira. I said, 'Lord, I give it to you.' That was December '87. Nobody heard it from my mouth until '96 when it had become a testimony with my own Accountant working for me. My wife asked me the following month, what about upkeep salary. I said I've laid it on the Altar so we are free to be hungry. That was the last time she asked. Church Gist. When you hear stories, check the story behind the story. We are not faking this thing here. I'm not prosperous by chance, it's by Covenant, dangerous acts of sacrifice as prompted by the Holy Ghost."

He further stated how God demanded a property from him when funds were needed for Church planting. He obeyed and God told him, 'My Son David, even if you don't want to be rich, it's too late!'

  • Fear is a negative spirit energy it is the weapon of the enemy when they project an evil towards you maybe through dream if by mistake you allowed the spirit of fear attached to dream to enter your mind it will weaken you and your enemy will chain you and take you away but when ever you face any spiritual or physical challenge embrace the spirit of boldness stand against it through prayer and through other positive method and you will be fine
