So they’ve finally launched it—ADC (African Democratic Congress)—a so-called third force made up of political heavyweights and recycled messiahs: El Rufai, Atiku, Peter Obi, Aregbesola and a host of others who think a coalition will save Nigeria.
But wait… will they even be on the ballot by 2027?
Remember Rivers State, 2019? The APC was torn apart from the inside—two factions, two secretariats, chaos everywhere. Magnus Abe vs Amaechi. The end? APC didn’t even make it to the ballot. Disqualified like a failed jambite.
Today, we’re seeing the Labour Party cracking at the seams—Apapa faction, Abure faction, court orders flying like sachet water in Oshodi. They say they're united, but are they?
And now, PDP is burning too—Wike vs Atiku. The same Atiku, who we're hearing is already eyeing ADC as his final political bus stop after five failed attempts at presidency. Jump ship again, sir. Nigeria is not a retirement plan. 🧓🏽
Now, a free advice to ADC: Brace up. The litigations are coming. The faceless men will soon rise. Secretaries will sue chairmen, ward leaders will get expelled by unknown committees, and before you shout "Power to the People," INEC will disqualify you for ‘technical reasons.’
There is a master of remote control politics, a grand puppeteer loading his dry powder as we speak. Once he starts, even WhatsApp groups will turn battlefields.
