YOU CAN TURN YOUR PARTNER INTO A MONSTER (Part 1)

Let’s be real — many people didn’t start out as bitter, withdrawn, promiscuous, stingy, alcoholic or spiritually cold individuals.

They became that way… because of the kind of partner they ended up with.

Now, let’s be clear: no one has a valid excuse for losing their values or becoming a worse version of themselves.

But experience has shown that the influence of a spouse or dating partner can either MAKE you or BREAK you.

A faithful husband can slip into adultery when he’s been repeatedly starved of intimacy by his wife.

A once joyful and vibrant person can become moody and depressed when constantly criticized or neglected by their partner.

A once generous lady can become a very stingy woman if he dates or marries a selfish and inconsiderate man.

A once vision and purpose driven man can become irresponsible and useless if he marries a vision killer and unsupportive wife.

A once passionate and firebranded sister can become a shadow of herself if she entangles herself with an unspiritual and ungodly man.

So here are two questions:

1. Is your partner making you better or slowly destroying you?
2. Are you helping your partner grow, or are you the reason they’re getting worse?

DOES GOD HATE POVERTY OR PROSPER

Look At What The Bible Says About Prosperity:

1. JOSHUA 1:8
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Explanation:
God ties prosperity and success to obedience and meditation on His Word. When a person lives by God's principles, they align with His divine laws that produce fruitfulness in all aspects of life.

2. PSALM 1:2-3
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Explanation:
A person who delights in and meditates on God’s Word will be stable, fruitful, and prosperous in all they do—just like a well-watered tree.

3. DEUTERONOMY 8:18
“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”
Explanation:
Wealth and prosperity are not self-earned; they are gifts from God given to fulfill His covenant. Remembering this keeps us humble and aligned with His purpose.

4. 3 JOHN 1:2
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Explanation:
This verse highlights that true prosperity includes physical, financial, and spiritual well-being. God desires complete prosperity for His children.

5. PROVERBS 10:22
“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”
Explanation:
When God blesses someone with wealth, it comes with peace and joy—not with the sorrow and stress that often accompanies worldly riches.

6. MALACHI 3:10
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”
Explanation:
Tithing opens the door to divine abundance. God invites us to test His faithfulness by giving, and He promises overflowing blessings in return.

7. PROVERBS 3:9-10
“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”
Explanation:
When we honor God with our wealth—especially the first part of it—He promises to bless us with more than enough in return.

8. LUKE 6:38
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
Explanation:
Generosity activates prosperity. God multiplies what we give and causes it to return in abundance, often through others.

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”
Explanation:
God delights in the prosperity of His people, especially those who support and promote His righteous cause. Prosperity brings Him glory.

10. PHILIPPIANS 4:19
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Explanation:
God promises to meet every need—not just financially but in all aspects—based on His abundant and unlimited resources in Christ.

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great.”

Explanation:
True prosperity includes both the ability to gain wealth and the joy of enjoying it—it is a divine gift, not just a human accomplishment.

Going to people’s dm and asking to be mentored isn’t the way to go!

High value people value their time so much and won’t give it to just anyone for free.

So how do you connect with them?

1. Be Valuable Yourself

You attract what you carry.

High-value people can smell desperation from a mile away, but they also recognize VALUE when they see it.

What skill do you have?

What problem can you solve?

What makes you different? Start there.

Build something. Even if it’s small. Just be doing something for yourself first!

2. Show Up Where They Are

It’s not by commenting “I tap into your grace” under their posts.

Attend their webinars.

Join online communities.

Show up in places they’re likely to be.

And when you get in, don’t go and start begging for visibility.

Instead, contribute. Add intelligent inputs.

Ask thoughtful questions. Share some of your wins. It’s attractive.

3. Use Your Content to Position Yourself

Your content is your loudspeaker.

Let it speak about your expertise, your values, your journey.

When they come across your page, what will they see?

Complaints? Confusion?

Or clarity, consistency, and commitment to growth?

4. Offer Value Before Asking for Anything

You want to DM a high-value person to connect with him or her!

Ask yourself first: “What am I offering this person?”

Even if it’s just a genuine compliment, a thoughtful idea, or something helpful.

Don’t just enter with “I need your help(for free) or “Please be my mentor”

That’s not going to work.

5. Let God Do His Networking

Not everything is by hustling.

Some connections will find you when you’re faithful with what’s in your hand.

Do your part. Sow your seeds. Serve well.

And then let God position you for divine connections. One helper from God can shift your whole story.

Last last, no dey form who you’re not.

Avoid fake life. Just do what you’re supposed to do.

Because when your light starts to shine, trust me, they will find you.

A Scripture for us today

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV)
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Your trust in God is directly depending on the level of your Faith in God. Your Faith in God is directly depending on the level of God's word you know...
Therefore, serve God by revelation and not by information

"For verily I say unto you,if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to younder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matt.17:20).

Faith is your title deed to all of heavens treasures paid for by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.

BREAKING: Rivers State Administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas threatens legal action against NBA over failure to refund the N300 million donation back to Rivers State Government

According to Ibas, the records show that the payment of N300 million to the NBA was made with the mutual understanding that Rivers State would host the 2025 edition of the NBA Annual General Conference (AGC).

He rejected NBA’s claim that the N300 million payment made by the state was a "gift", emphasizing that the Rivers State Government entered into an arrangement with the NBA in good faith, with the understanding that hosting the conference in the state would attract significant economic benefits to our state, positively and directly impact the businesses of our people.

Ibas said the NBA's unilateral decision to relocate the AGC to Enugu and subsequent decision to withhold the ₦300 million paid for the purpose of hosting the NBA AGC 2025 in Rivers State is unethical and amounts to a breach of trust.

He added that failure of the NBA to immediately refund the ₦300 million to the Rivers State Government, will compel the implementation of all legal means to recover the property of the good people of Rivers State.
