Message Title: TOWARDS CLEARING AGE-LONG OBSTACLES OFF OUR PATHS
Introduction
Deuteronomy 2:24, 2 Peter 1:3
The truth of Scriptures mostly appears too simple to be true.
2 Corinthians 11:3
The devil uses the simplicity of the Scriptures to create confusion in the hearts of men.
How?
Because the Scriptures look too simple to believe when we subject them to critical analysis.
Hebrews 3:12
This is why we must possess childlike faith, which realigns our minds to believe anything that God says.
Mark 10:13–15
For example, imagine the Bible saying that one must be born again to be saved.
This doesn’t make sense to the logical mind, but it is the only way to enter the Kingdom of God.
We must possess childlike faith to command exploits in the Kingdom.
Childlike faith is what is missing in the lives of many believers today.
From Matthew 18:1–3, Jesus makes us understand that we must possess childlike faith to be great in the Kingdom.
Exodus 14:15, Psalm 37:18–19
Malachi 3:17–18, Malachi 4:1–2
It takes childlike faith to triumph over the challenges of life, but man’s complexity is what stands between him and his breakthroughs.
2 Corinthians 4:4
Childlike faith is key to an ever-winning life.
Isaiah 43:18–19
Note

Basis for Our Rescue:

Note that we must beware of idolatry, because we serve a jealous God who doesn't share His glory with any other gods.
Matthew 4:10, James 1:7–8, 1 Corinthians 10:14–15
Idolatry is also possessing a haughty spirit that makes you feel you’re better than others.
Beware of the idol of money and influence.
Put your trust solely in God.
Psalm 34:10, Psalm 108:12, Psalm 146:3
God is more than able to bring His promises to pass in our lives.
We must put our trust in God because our future is secured with Him.
2 Chronicles 15:1–6, 12–15
The Lord can only be with us when we stand strong with Him.
God will only give us all-round rest when we dedicate ourselves to serve Him.
Going to church is not equal to serving God. When we go to church, it is God that services our needs.
When we’re truly in love with God, it shows in different aspects of our lives through what we do.
