President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially flagged off the construction of the 118.85km Calabar–Ebonyi–Benue–Nasarawa–Abuja Super Highway, marking a transformative step toward national integration and infrastructure expansion.

Flagged off in Afikpo North, Ebonyi State, the project aims to connect the South-East, South-South, and North-Central regions, improving accessibility and ending years of infrastructural neglect. It extends from Ndibe Beach in Afikpo, through Benue and Nasarawa, and into the FCT, Abuja, with additional access to Calabar via Cross River State.

President Tinubu, represented by Governor Francis Nwifuru, described the superhighway as a symbol of the Renewed Hope Agenda—a shift from marginalization to inclusion, connectivity, and nationwide development.

Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi Minister Of Works⁩, emphasized the highway’s strategic importance in stimulating trade, connectivity, and economic growth, calling it a key milestone of the administration’s infrastructural revolution.

This superhighway will significantly boost interstate commerce, reduce travel time, and enhance security and logistics across multiple regions. It is also expected to unlock agricultural and industrial potential, foster unity, and drive sustainable development across Nigeria’s heartland.

  • Please take note: From today, I have decided that everyday I wake up I will be posting about the killings in Benue state, the middle belt and other parts of Nigeria by the demonic blood thirsty Fulani herdsmen.

I will continue this way to raise awareness till the genocide ends.

  • Stop Calling Killers by Their Tribe” — IGP Cautions Against Tribal Blame

Following the recent deadly attack in Zikke community, Bassa LGA of Plateau State, Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has paid a visit to the area and issued a strong warning against ethnic profiling in the wake of the violence.

The attack, which occurred on Monday, left numerous residents dead, homes destroyed, and hundreds displaced. Reports allege the perpetrators to be armed Fulani herdsmen — the same group accused in earlier attacks in neighboring Benue State.

Speaking during his tour of the crisis-hit region on Tuesday, Egbetokun condemned the bloodshed and acknowledged the immense toll it has taken on local farming communities.

“We strongly condemn these senseless killings,” the police chief stated. “I won’t say too much now, but I can assure you — these criminal elements will be surprised soon. Their days are numbered.”

Egbetokun urged residents to unite and avoid labeling criminals based on tribe or ethnicity.

“Criminals are criminals — they don’t have a tribe,” he said. “Let’s not let ethnicity divide us. We must come together and deal with these threats collectively.”

Governor Caleb Muftwang, who received the IGP during the visit, also voiced deep frustration and sorrow over the recurring violence. He described the Zikke massacre as “plain murder,” revealing that children as young as three and elderly citizens were among the victims.

“What threat could a three-year-old pose?” Muftwang asked emotionally. “This is beyond sad — it’s evil. Plateau was on a path to peace. Now, we’re facing a terrifying setback.”

The governor confirmed speaking directly with President Bola Tinubu, who reportedly pledged a swift and coordinated response from all security agencies.

“We’re not backing down,” Muftwang added. “Things may seem calm right now, but we must remain vigilant and push for justice.”

The tragedy in Zikke is only the latest in a wave of brutal attacks across Plateau, a state that has long battled inter-communal tensions, herder-farmer clashes, and armed banditry. Civil society groups continue to urge the federal government to take firmer action and restore lasting peace to the region.

  • Tiv are found in Benue (where they are the majority) and in Taraba and Nassarawa States of Nigeria as well as Cameroon with an estimated 5 - 6 million people.

They are hospitable to a fault thus, many have accused them of giving out their wives to entertain guests which is totally false. A Tiv man does not joke with three things: his wife, meat and wine.

They are great farmers, contributing immensely in making Benue State the food basket of Nigeria.
They have four to five tonations that are mutually intelligible.

  • Otukpo 2027 Benue Politics: Know Your Politicians Now During Fulani, Suffering, Insecurity, Hunger etc Ahead of 2027.

How Did you know the Following Politicians? How did they Disappoint or Impress you? How have they helped you in Life? Will you Re-elect them in 2027? I want to Write something (good, bad, beautiful & ugly) ahead of 2027. But findings revealed that Ngbede John Ilodu of the Agatu PDP has a big hand in the Water Scarcity in Otukpo and Lack of Portable Water in Agatu as a former Commissioner of Water Resources (corruption and money embezzlement). Tied to Otobi and Oyongo Water Works Failure Conspiracy in Idomaland. Youths should know politicians before killing themselves and relatives for them in 2027. Youths should now avoid blind loyalty ahead of 2027. Their children and slay queens are now enjoying themselves abroad and Abuja forever.
Please measure their performance so far with the fear of God. The list below is inconclusive.

  • Seriake Dickson Said: Benue, Plateau Killing Evidence Of State Failure.
Seriake Dickson, senator representing Bayelsa west, says the recent attacks in Benue and Plateau states are clear signs of state failure. In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Dickson condemned the killings and described the incidents as “dastardly and callous massacres”. “I have spoken with my brother and friend, the Governor of Benue State, H.E. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, as well as officials of the Plateau State Government, to offer my condolences on behalf of my family and the good people of my Senatorial District, and on behalf of all Nigerians of goodwill, over the dastardly and callous massacres that occurred recently in communities in those two states,” he wrote. The former governor of Bayelsa said states like Benue, Plateau, Zamfara, and southern Kaduna have been repeatedly subjected to “criminality, lawlessness, and brutality in a genocidal magnitude”. “Not only are armed gunmen terrorising and ransacking hapless communities, and committing mass murders in these states, but the level of banditry, kidnapping, and killing has affected many other states as well, almost to the point of eclipsing the Boko Haram insurgency that bedevilled the northeastern part of our country years ago,” he said. Dickson called for urgent intervention from the federal government, saying the security situation has reached a level that requires an honest national conversation. “At this point, the leadership of this country and the topmost hierarchy of the security architecture need to really sit down and have a frank and honest conversation about what to do, and do it fast,” he stated. He identified several root causes of the crisis, including farmer-herder clashes, the activities of illegal miners, displacement of indigenous populations, climate-related issues, and general criminality. “While there are elements of banditry and sheer criminality that have nothing to do with competition for resources, there is also a well-known angle that has to do with perennial clashes between herdsmen and farmers in communities across the country,” he said. He urged the federal government to implement mandatory ranching and prohibit open grazing nationwide. “This was why, at the floor while contributing to a motion on this, I urged the Senate to resolve to implementing mandatory ranching, support and orientation even for the herdsmen, followed by the prohibition of open grazing nationwide,” he added. Dickson said the newly established ministry of livestock, along with other relevant agencies, must develop a funding and support framework for livestock and agribusinesses. He also called for a coordinated security strategy involving community leaders and law enforcement to flush out bandits from rural areas. “It is not acceptable in this country or any other, for people wherever they are to be attacked, maimed, killed, and communities ransacked at will without consequences, while the rest of the country and the world move on,” Dickson said. “It is the clearest evidence of State failure and collapse.”
