GOING THROUGH TRIALS IS NOT AN INDICATION THAT YOU DID ANYTHING BAD. - Pastor David Ibiyeomie

While ministering during the Second Service on Sunday, Pastor David Ibiyeomie emphasized that going through trials is not an indication that one did anything bad. He used the story of Paul and Silas when they were arrested and kept in the prison as an illustration.

He stressed that they were actually preaching the Gospel when they were arrested. In other words, one can be very close to God and still be challenged. He further said that even when one is going through trials, that’s not the time to complain. Instead, in the midst of the trials, one should engage in praising God and God will be compelled to bring them out of the trials.

He further illustrated by saying if one is living in a room apartment that he/she has to share the same toilet with others, one shouldn’t complain. But the person should give God thanks that he is not living outside or under the bridge. When God sees the person giving Him thanks, He will be committed to elevating his status to a bigger apartment.
