Psalm* : Ps. 97. *R/ - The Lord is king, the most high above all the earth.* *2nd R* : Rev. 22:12-14, 16-17. 20. *Gosp.* : Jn. 17:20-26. *Message* :*LET US LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF THE SPIRIT, THE VOICE OF UNITY THAT CONQUERS THE DEVIL.* _The Gospel is Jesus' High Priestly Prayer. So called because it brings out his priestly role, offering prayers and sacrifice for the people as well as for himself(Heb. 5). Jesus mediates for us to the Father. He prays for himself; that his Father will glorify him and he prays for us; that we may be united. Unity is a strong weapon against the devil. Unity is not uniformity. Unity is not (cooperatio in malo - cooperating in evil). Unity is having one heart and mind and working for a common good goal.
