🕯 *SEASON OF EASTER, YEAR C* 🕯
⬜️ *ASCENSION OF THE LORD* ⬜️
*1st R* : Acts. 1:1-11.
*Resp. Psalm* : Ps. 47.
*R/ - God has gone up with shouts of joy; the Lord goes up with trumpet blast.*
*2nd R* : Eph. 1:17-23. *OR* Heb. 9:24-28. 10:19-23.
*Gosp.* : Lk. 24:46-53.
*Message* :*LET US FIX OUR GAZE TOWARDS HEAVEN WHERE JESUS HAS ASCENDED INTO.* _40 days after his resurrection, Jesus ascends into heaven. He leaves the earth never to appear again. He will only be seen at his appearance on Judgment Day. We should set our gaze to the heavens, not to things of the earth. We should remember that we, too, someday shall come to the end of our earthly life. How prepared are we to say our "goodbyes"?_
