BEYOND RELIGION: EMBRACING THE EASY YOKE OF JESUS CHRIST

The blood of Jesus Christ is pure, sinless, spotless, precious, and perfect (1 Peter 1:19).
It cleanses from sin, wipes away iniquities, and transforms sinners into saints (Hebrews 9:14, 1 John 1:7).
This blood surrenders its identities to the saint, and these identities become the saint's character (2 Peter 1:4).

Salvation, also known as to be born again is not merely reciting the sinner's prayer at the point of altar call or following rules; it's a conviction by the Holy Spirit that one is a sinner condemned to eternal doom (John 16:8-11). It's a response to this conviction by surrendering one's life to Jesus Christ and trusting in His finished work on the cross (Romans 3:24-25, Ephesians 2:8-9).
Believers experience a transformed life, living by faith and confidence in the forgiveness of their sins (2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 5:1).

As saints, believers are clothed with the righteousness and purity of Jesus Christ's blood (Revelation 7:14, 1 John 1:7). Though still prone to mistakes and errors due to the flesh, the blood of redemption continually cleanses, wipes and purifies them (1 John 2:1-2, 1 John 1:9).

In contrast to religion, which entangles, enslaves and keeps in legalism and bondage, Jesus' yoke is easy, and His burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30). Entrance into the Redeemer's kingdom is based on faith in His finished work, not on works or adherence to man-made rules (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:28).

Redemption justifies, sanctifies, acquits, translates from kingdom of doom and darkness into kingdom of light, frees believers from legalism ( sets of rigid religious rules, man made traditions, if you don't do this you won't get that, this qualifies you to get that), bringing them into freedom ( cheerfulness, willingness, freewill) service, agape love, and a personal (father-child) relationship with their Redeemer (Galatians 5:1, Romans 8:15). The Redeemer now guides, supports, and helps them effortlessly navigate life's challenges (Psalm 23:4, Galatians 2:20; Hebrews 13:5-6). *Even when believers sin and lose fellowship with God, their relationship remains intact,* and they can return to Him through confession and repentance (1 John 1:9, Psalm 51:1-12).

You received God's beloved Son, Jesus Christ the greatest gift life has to offer without merit or expectation. He willingly, happily and cheerfully sacrificed Himself for our redemption and salvation. John 10:17,18. John 15:13;1 John 3:16.
He has shown us an example that we may willingly, happily and cheerfully serve Him. 2 Corinthians 9:6,7
Don't let your mind be held captive by transactional(based on trading, give this before you get that, it most cost you something) theories, hypotheses or legalistic ideologies that fuel a relentless pursuit of self-righteousness(attempts to please or appease God through human efforts, gifts and donations).
Remember and always have in mind: God has graciously given us everything we need for life and godliness, including His only begotten Son (John 3:16, 2 Peter 1:3).
