Rabiu Kwankwaso: When Nasir El-Rufai comes here, ask him these three questions- Buba Galadima
the broader principle of rewarding those who contribute significantly to a party's success.

When the interviewer brought up the speculation that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso might consider defecting from the NNPP to join Nasir El-Rufai in the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Galadima swiftly dismissed the idea. He affirmed that Governor Yusuf remains fully committed to the NNPP and has no intentions of leaving. His exact words were:

"Abba Kabir Yusuf is a bonafide member of the NNPP as I speak to you, and he would remain so."

Galadima then went further by suggesting that when El-Rufai is invited for an interview, he should not be allowed to make vague generalizations. Instead, he said the former governor must be asked very specific questions that will shed light on what really happened behind the scenes in 2015. According to Galadima, these four questions are essential for clarity and accountability.

"When El-Rufai comes here, ask him these four questions; One, did Kwankwaso ever had a candidate in 2015 in Kaduna State. Two, did Kwankwaso make any contribution...force him to tell you; to his (El-Rufai) candidature in Kaduna State that made him (El-Rufai) governor."

These two questions, Galadima insists, are critical in understanding whether El-Rufai received substantial support from Kwankwaso during his gubernatorial campaign. The third question, however, touches more on the national level, focusing on the contribution Kwankwaso made to the Buhari campaign in the North.

Galadima continued:

"Three, ask him that when Kwankwaso brought 1.9 million votes to Buhari, ask him whether their government, which him El-Rufai was part of the government, whether they ever gave him (Kwankwaso) one messenger slot in Buhari's government for eight years, after bringing 2 million votes.
