Gold has to go through a purification (refining) process so that it becomes pure gold, free from impurities. God prepares you so that any character in you that is inconsistent with His nature would die. For example, pride, anger, envy, jealousy, and lust would die, allowing you to fully express the character of God, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The process of preparation is characterized by waiting on God, spending time studying the word of God, praying, and experiencing pain. The process of preparation is not an easy one, but it's worth it. Child of God, don't neglect your season of preparation. Don't give up, stay focused on what God is doing in your life.
