Morocco FA President, Fouzi Lekjaa threatened Namibia referee, Twanyanyukwa Antsino during the Medal Presentation in the 2025 WAFCON Final for not awarding a penalty to Morocco against Nigeria in the 2025 WAFCON Final.

The Namibia referee actually pointed to the spot until she was called by the VAR officials headed by Rwanda referee, Salima Mukansanga for a review of the incident. After the review, the Namibia referee overturned her decision and this hasn't gone well with the Morocco Officials and fans who have been accusing CAF of favouring the Black Race against Morocco but always runs to Morocco for hosting when others don't want to host.

They are saying CAF is using them and they will no longer take it.
They have used the last two African Players of the year Awards won by Nigerians as an example before the WAFCON Final incidents.
