TOPIC:WORK OF FAITH

TEXT:1 THESSALONIANS 1:1, JAMES 2:26, MARK 5:25

•The work of faith implies putting faith to work, it means practicing what we believe.

•If you believe, but don't act on those things, it becomes useless.

•It is your work that gives life to your faith.

•It is your workings that makes your faith effective, take faith away and your work is defective.

•Faith is sealed by your actions.

•Faith is seen or made manifest by your works - Luke 5:1-7

•No work no faith - James 2:18

•Your work directs people to your faith, you know a man of faith by his workings and not by his talkings.

•Your work of faith is your corresponding action in response to what you have heard - Romans 10:7

•It takes a man of faith to work.

•What you have heard can only produce in your life if you act on what you've heard - Acts 14:8

•It's not only the hearing that brings results, but what you do with what you do afterwards - James 2:19

•Not acting on what you have heard is the same thing as not hearing.

•Your works and confessions which you make on a regular basis, represents your work of faith - Joshua 1:8

•Your works can make faith effective or ineffective.

•If there are no words to hear, then there will be no words to speak, and if there's no words to speak then there's no faith to act on - Romans 10:8-9

•Faith rides on words - Proverbs 4:23

•Speak right words, disassociate from people who always speak wrong words.

•Stage 1 (Have faith) - Mark 11:22

•Stage 2 ( confessing )

•Stage 3 - (speaking, based on your faith you have) - Mark 11:23a

•Stage 4 (you will have whatever you ask for) - Mark 11:23b

•If you stand on stage 1 and refuse to enter into stage 2 and 3, then there will be no stage 4.

•The workings of your faith is not the end result, but just the process that leads to the end result, which is the evidence of your faith.
