Students who are on holiday now work at the road construction sites to raise money for back to school in Burkina Faso . . This is a temporal job for them and helps them make money and assist their parents . This is more of a Holiday Job to them .

    This is just so beautiful.

Moral lesson : I’ve decided to visit this country this month and bring live updates .

  • George Foreman: "After I lost to Ali in Zaire, I told everyone that l was robbed - the ropes were loose, the water was drugged, then, once l'd changed my nature, I realised what a blemish l'd put on this great man's career.. Why would I go out and spit on his victory to mess up this great man's name?

"It was the last of the 70's, I believe 1978, Ali, I do not know how he got my phone number because he avoided me, he didn't want to give me a title rematch. He called and complimented me for about 20 minutes then he said ‘George, would you do me a favor', he knew I liked him, I said, ‘certainly,’ he said, 'please come back and beat Ken Norton and fight him for me, they are going to strip me of my title and I can't beat him George, you can. He's afraid of you. I'll let you use my training camp and everything.’

"That day forward, we became the best of friends, and, we starting talking on the telephone, he’d call me, I would try to run him down wherever he’d be. We had these religious conversations. His children became good friends with my children. That is where the love affair began, right there at the end of the '70's."

What started as rivalry ended in respect. That loss in Zaire became the beginning of a deep friendship, built on faith, forgiveness, and mutual admiration. Ali and Foreman went from opponents to brothers.

  • Senator Wadada: Hiring Crowd Is Not Capacity, It Is Camouflage

    By Ibrahim Musa Andafu
    ***
A Facebooker mentioned that some people were hired or lobbied to attend Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada's turbaning ceremony in Lafia today. If that claim holds any truth, then it calls for honest reflection. He was turbaned as Magajin Dangin Lafia Bare-Bari.

Capacity is not determined by the number of people gathered, but by the genuine connection between a leader and the people. When individuals are paid to attend an event, they disappear once the money or influence wears off. But when people are inspired, they remain committed even after the event ends.

Hiring or persuading people to show up is not a demonstration of strength, it is a clear sign of desperation. True popularity does not require rented claps or staged loyalty. It is revealed through the quiet yet sincere support of ordinary people who believe in the values a leader represents.

We must learn to separate real support from artificial appearance. Genuine followership builds lasting respect, while manufactured crowds only feed temporary illusion. Not every large crowd is a sign of greatness, just as not every applause is a sign of approval.

Meanwhile, a personality with capacity, national connection, and influence do not need to hired people in order to fake his popularity.

At the end of the day, it is not about how many people came, but why they came. That reason, not the number, defines the true value of leadership.

  • Our Levels Of Tolerance For Corruption In Africa Is Amazing -Lumumba
    ***
"Corruption is something that we talk about. It is something that we complain about. It is something whose negative impact we recognize. It is something that even the corrupt acknowledge it’s a bad thing. But the irony and the tragedy at once is that those who engage in corruption love it. The tragedy at once is that those of us who do not engage in it directly accommodate it.

"Our levels of tolerance for corruption in Africa is amazing. Long time ago, a great Greek philosopher said that it is in the nature of man to hang the small thieves and to elect the great ones into public office. We do that in Uganda, we do that in Kenya, we do that in Tanzania, we do that in Africa. And that is why Africa remains the poorest continent on earth." -Professor Patrick Lumumba, Kenya
