The "Sleeping Prince" Has Peacefully Passed Away After 20 Years. STILL, MONEY COULD NOT SAVE HIM…🙇🏽♂️
He was a prince. At 15, he had everything, status, wealth, a future mapped in gold. But one moment changed everything. A crash. A coma. And for 20 years, just... stillness.
No amount of money could wake him. No power could undo it. I can imagine the picture of his father sitting beside him, hoping. Praying. Refusing to give up, even when the world quietly moved on.
It wasn’t about privilege anymore. It became something every parent, every family could understand: the pain of waiting. The ache of watching someone you love float somewhere unreachable. The helplessness. The hope.
And I can only imagine the state of the father now, after all the investments of time, emotion, and unimaginable wealth, still having to bury his own son.
The one he never gave up on for 20 years, believing that one day, fate would be kind and he’d see his son whole again. That kind of love, that kind of persistence… it's a lesson in itself.
How quickly we give up on ourselves, or even on God, when things don’t shift right away. Yet this father stayed, providing everything his son needed, just in case.
Some may say, “Well, he’s dad is wealthy.”
But remember: God, too, is rich in mercy and resources. And He never allows a burden without the grace to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13). So why do we give up so easily, when God hasn’t given up on us yet? (Hebrews 13:5b)
And the “Sleeping Prince” while in coma, He didn’t speak. He didn’t move much. But somehow, he spoke to all of us. He reminded us of how fragile life really is, how it doesn’t matter how rich or powerful you are. Some things, like time, healing, and goodbye… can’t be bought.
He’s gone now. After so many years of being here, yet not. And it hurts in a way that goes deeper than headlines.
Still, money could not save him…
And maybe that’s the lesson we all needed.
May he finally rest – in peace, in light, in freedom.
Rest in peace, Prince Al Waleed
(1990–2025)
