  • *Mmesoma Ejikeme Has Been Vindicated*

.. the results to push a political agenda.

So, after JAMB released the 2023 UTME results in May.

Mmesoma Ejikeme went viral with her score of 362/400, ranking her the highest scoring candidate in the country.

Mmesoma aged 19, was one of the best students at Anglican Girls Secondary School, Nnewi Anambra.

It was a missionary school handed back to its owners by Governor Peter Obi back in 2009.

It was going well, until May 10th when Innoson Motors gave her a scholarship of ₦3M, after verifying the results from JAMB website.

Then, the story went viral across SW, Northern Nigeria and caught the attention of JAMB.

JAMB saw it, involved the DSS, investigated and said the result is fake. That she scored 249 not 362, she manipulated their systems to increase the score by 113.

Meanwhile the result showed scored 98%, 89%, 94%, and 81% in English Language, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry, respectively.

This was what she printed on JAMB site and this was what SMS checker sent to her.
Back.. soo Innoson too said they confirmed it, printed and checked. It was 362.

Mmesoma reacted in very viral video. She said, she literally doesn’t even have the kind of resources needed to hack JAMB and manipulate a result.

Unless the issue was from JAMB, because several students complained about glitches, like this year 2025.

According to Mmesoma, when they scanned the QR code on the result, it brought Omotola Afolabi with score 138.

Later they checked again, the Omotola Afolabi was showing 338, confirming that there was a system error.

Mmesoma added that, instead of JAMB inviting the DSS to intimidate, pressure and declare her a fraud, they should have reviewed the system.

    — Jamb reacted saying, people are telling her what to say to beat the system.
Her dad added that, JAMB is intimidating his daughter and traumatizing her, after they’ve probably changed the result, because they printed it from JAMB, different times.

JAMB then took it up a notch.

JAMB further added that, the total result was infact fake.

That the date of birth etc, all belong to another person. That her own date of birth is March 02 2004, but what’s showing on her profile is April 02 2004.

According to JAMB, she changed her result and her date of birth, and it was done by her group, which they will soon reveal. (They never did.)

On July 4th, they Banned her for 3yrs. Stating that, her claims of their system having any glitch were false, that she is lying to get public sympathy.

Nigerians, including Charly boy, Gaius Chibueze called for an external investigation on JAMB, they spoke about Igbo marginalization. JAMB didn’t respond.

After much pressure, Mmesoma finally admitted to faking her result. That her real result is 249. She said this in a video. And later reiterated it at the House of Reps, in front of a panel.

When her dad saw the videos of his daughter admitting to the score and being a cheat. He broke down and said, that’s not his daughter speaking, someone is telling her what to say.

He insisted that, JAMB knows what they are doing. Because how will a kid of 19, have resources enough to hack JAMB websites to change results. He said he won’t sue, that God will handle it.

Later, Anambra government sponsored a three months Pyschotherapy for Mmesoma. She received offers of finance and scholarships across the country and abroad.

Businessman, Gaius Chibueze offered to take care of her education up to Masters in any school of her choice in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Innoson Motors withdrew their scholarship. Nkechinyere Umeh who scored 360, got the scholarships from the state.

Now in 2025, more students complained of the same Glitch Mmesoma mentioned in 2023.

Alex Onyia persisted and indeed, after investigations, they found out it was a human error that caused the glitch that only affected all 5 South East states, Lagos and Oyo.

Nigerians are now saying, Mmesoma Ejikeme has been vindicated and JAMB should apologize.

Oloyede was also the JAMB Registrar in 2023.

@Trending Explained
