  • PRINCIPLES

Living in accordance with your values and elevating principles as the foundation of every decision requires a conscious, intentional life. This means you are actively aware of your words and habits. For instance, writing is a lifestyle. It has evolved from mere intention to behaviour like embarking on a long mental run. It integrates your thoughts into concise, constructive sentences that reveal various aspects, such as areas where you need more knowledge than you possess, and aids in clarifying your thoughts when you allow them to flow freely. However, choosing to live a high-yielding lifestyle entails first calculating the potential outcomes of each action before you proceed decision.

It is always best to choose the most challenging path; usually, it is more emotionally taxing when you opt for delayed gratification. It’s a bit like having a green salad next to a decadent cake full of sugar when you are hungry; the easiest choice to satisfy the craving is to eat the cake, but the logical mind understands that the road to health and success lies in making the right choice. We can liken this to every decision regarding health and success, which often involves taking the longest route or the most difficult path among all possible choices. I have observed that the conscious participation of anyone who has achieved something great stems from their ability to exercise restraint and to discipline themselves to undertake the hardest task.

Whatever you resist changing indicates it holds some form of control, whether it's postponing reading a book or training early in the morning. If we let our desires dictate our principles, we are merely dreaming. You need to choose success intentionally; that is how life is meant to function according to God. This is also why we aren't where Bill Gates or Warren Buffett are — because we haven't applied the same principles, or our thinking hasn’t been disciplined. We must speak the truth to ourselves and practice self-control to tackle difficult things. God does not favour the undisciplined; it is only when you've given your all and even pushed harder than expected that success demands much more than you are prepared to give.

We all have weaknesses in various areas of life. It's only when you choose to say no and exalt principles above yourself. If we study God's word, we'll see how He operates. He has exalted His word above Himself. That’s why, on judgment day, His justice will be fair, as it is the truth that will judge us, not emotions— all His ways are just, and His decrees are perfect. He is righteous, and His justice is merciful, yet everything He does is based on principle, for He designed the entire earth to function on principles. If we study any aspect of nature—from weather patterns to an animal forming in the womb, from the time it takes for a season to pass to the minute seconds and hours on a clock determined by the sun, to an elephant's trunk that drinks water—every single thing we observe in nature is governed by

Laws are the truth. We cannot violate gravity or be starved of oxygen and survive. He has fixed the hermeneutics of life on his kingdom, which functions according to his will. When we violate those principles, such as instant gratification, which belongs to the realm of the flesh, the conscious choice is intentional. We were designed by God at the origins of life to function according to his words because he gave Adam and Eve the instruction to till, keep and care for the ground, but as soon as Eve was dominated by something that she was created to manage it subdued her rather than God’s word which is built on truth.

Truth, in every case, leads to life. We aren't where Osama bin Laden ended up because he violated the principles that ignited a war against him. His worldview shaped his reality, entrenched in religious dogma, proving his philosophy could not align with the Creator, as his principles were not grounded in truth. Even though his religious paradigm acknowledged God, we can clearly see they are not part of the kingdom of light since there is no darkness in God. The mechanics of his belief system created havoc and harmed innocent people due to religion. This serves as further proof that it's not religion that fosters thriving environments.

It is living based on truth. Those who wait for favours by praying without applying discipline, self-control, patience, and tenacity are fooling themselves with misguided religion. Principles are the keys to every good thing when activated by faith. In every action we take that is disciplined towards a certain direction with conscious participation, understanding exactly what you will produce is living life by design, leading to not producing haphazard results. If we allow feelings or emotions to dictate our choices, that creates an unpredictable life. The only reason anyone should fail is that they do not understand the laws of success or they are unwilling to pay the price

Just as you create purple by mixing two colours, you can apply the same principle to every decision. Each action generates an equal and opposite reaction in the physical world. Whether good or bad, it influences something in the world. That’s why God's words say a man shall reap what he sows, explaining the varying results we achieve. Although we don’t all start from the same point, we may experience different limitations. However, when you understand the laws that defy gravity, you can create movement. There’s a path to everything, as Edison demonstrated by refusing to give up. He eventually invented the light bulb. It’s about having the determination to succeed in whatever you pursue when it’s done intentionally. At the core of every decision, ensure you make the right calculations and apply them consciously.

  • #c12• MESSAGE TO ALTAR SERVERS:

“You are not just serving at the altar—
You are standing in the presence of the King of Kings.”

Every time you serve, heaven is watching.
Every little action—the carrying of the cross, the lighting of candles, the responses—matters deeply to God.
You are ministers in training, soldiers of the sanctuary, and God’s favor rests on your dedication.

Never take your role lightly. Even when no one claps for you, heaven does.

    ---

    PRAYER FOR ALTAR SERVERS:

    "Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of service at Your holy altar.
We ask You to bless every altar server—
Fill them with reverence, humility, and joy in their ministry.
May they grow in wisdom, faith, and love for You.

Like Blessed Michael Tansi, may they live lives of holiness,
Beacons of light in their generation.
Grant them protection, provision, and a burning heart for Your will.

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen."

  • *WE DON'T FIGHT FOR VICTORY, BUT FROM ITWe Don’t Fight*

    Scripture Focus:
*“And raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”*
    — Ephesians 2:6 (ESV)

    * Reading*:
Many believers walk around defeated—not because Satan is so powerful, but because they are *unaware of their spiritual position in Christ*.

According to *Ephesians 1:20–21*, Christ is seated at the right hand of God, far above all principality, power, dominion, and every name that can be named. But it doesn’t stop there.

*Ephesians 2:6* tells us that we were raised with Him and seated with Him. That’s not poetic exaggeration—it’s spiritual reality. When you gave your life to Jesus, you were repositioned. You are no longer under. You are above—in Him.
So we don’t fight *for victory*, as though we are trying to win what Christ hasn’t already secured.

We fight *from victory*—from a place of spiritual authority, identity, and security in Christ.

    *When Confronted by the Enemy...*
You must remember: *Your authority is based on where you’re seated, not what you’re feeling*.

    • You're not a helpless Christian hoping for deliverance.
    • You’re a kingdom agent enforcing victory already won at the cross.

When the enemy shows up—through temptation, oppression, fear, or manipulation—*you don’t panic*.

*You stand. You resist. You enforce Christ’s triumph*.

“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God…”
    — 2 Corinthians 10:4–6

You don’t negotiate with darkness. You don’t flee in fear. You *cast down lies, bind arguments, and declare truth*.

    *Don't Glorify Satan*

Satan is not all-powerful. He is not God’s rival. He is a *defeated foe*.

Yes, *1 Peter 5:8* says he roams like a lion—but he is only effective when he finds someone who is:

    • *Ignorant* of their identity
    • *Careless* with their walk
    • *Stubborn* against God’s Word
He’s looking for the one who's spiritually asleep. That’s why *Ephesians 5:14* calls out:
“Awake, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you!”

Wake up. Rise up. *Know who you are*.

🧗🏾 *Why Trials Shouldn't Break You*

    James 1:2–3 says:
“Count it all joy… when you face trials.”

Why? Because trials are not always attacks. Sometimes they are *training.*
They produce endurance, depth, spiritual strength, and *reveal what you’re standing on*.
So don’t panic in hardship—*rejoice in it*, knowing that God is building in you the capacity to carry glory.

    ✊🏾*The Right Response*
Here’s what the Word says to do when the battle intensifies:
    1. *Submit to God* – Surrender to the authority of His Word (James 4:7)
    2. *Take up your weapons* – Shield of faith, Word of God, helmet of salvation (Ephesians 6:16–17)
    3. *Resist the devil* – Stand your ground in truth, and he will flee
    4. *Take Christ’s yoke* – His yoke is knowledge, and knowledge of Him is found in His Word (John 1:1–5)

*”The more you feed on the Word, the harder it is for the enemy to deceive or defeat you”*.

    *Live from Where You're Seated*
You’re not fighting from below, trying to ascend. You’re already seated with Christ—above every opposition. That’s your vantage point. That’s your identity.

    +Live from that seat.
    +Fight from that seat.
    +Speak from that seat.
    +Pray from that seat.
+Rebuke from that seat. +Serve God from that seat [and not from fear or to manipulate God to bless you].

    *Prayer*

Father, thank You for seating me with Christ in heavenly places. I repent for every time I have forgotten who I am in You. Today, I rise up in truth. I reject fear and I resist the devil. I embrace trials as tools for growth, and I stand on Your Word. Help me to live from victory and not struggle for it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    *Declaration*

Now, demonstrate like the true Lion that you are and ROAR BY declaring:

    I am seated with Christ.
I don’t fight for victory—I fight from it.
The enemy is beneath my feet.
I am not afraid, not confused, and not defeated.
    I walk in authority.
    I rejoice in trials.
I resist the devil and he flees.
    I am victorious—*because I am in Christ.*

    *SEE YOU AT THE TOP…………………………………………….*

  • DEFEATING GOLIATH

Words are abstractions of things that label places, people, and objects. They describe subjects and points of view, record history, and create cultural documents that relate to generations. The information has a source that comes from history, but it may not yet be manifest if it is describing something not yet seen in the material realm. Words are signposts that give understanding of context. Words speak directives as they may create action and tell of a certain time in history that names or relates to a people.

Moses received instructions to lead the children of Israel out of their slavery. David confronted Goliath with the words he believed from his heart, that he could bring Goliath down. Yet this was also backed up by the constant training he had been prepared for in the field when he brought down the lion and bear, even with his bare hands. He was put in a situation that taught him to conquer with his continual practice, his belief in himself to do what was impossible for others was as simple as using one small stone to defeat what was coming against Israel in that generation. Today, there are many giants to overcome in different lands with their own Goliaths that hold back people. Goliath could be described as strong. His objective is to defend territory. It may be in education, business, families, politics, or social life.

Goliath is symbolic of a warrior who will use intimidation, depending on the sphere in which he stands. Land is symbolic of possession. The children of Israel were defeated in their minds; it was not a physical reality. It came through small suggestions that created doubt in their minds, except for two: Jacob and Caleb out of six million. There is so much we can learn from these statistics that even though God had opened the red sea and drowned all the enemies and provided for them in the wilderness and raised up a shepherd that would lead them out they still had the mentality from their captivity in Egypt which ultimately meant that they would never possess the land. If we are observant today, we see that the same battle won in people's minds is the same strategy used on the masses, explaining why people never progress.

Much evidence in the material world may come to hinder, distract, seduce, entrap, dislodge, victimize, or deceive in one trillion different ways. This is why we were created to function from the word of his instruction written on our hearts. It is not in physical things already manifested in the material world. We must embrace first principles as the keys to life, not the descriptions or labels culture gives us. This is where we must separate information. There are many ideas our culture has given us, take the common gender ideals that have created many neologisms that did not exist even fifty years ago. Still, God said he made mankind female and male, so the superior source is not what the world has debated as an alternative.

In contrast, the female gender in Iran is shaped differently than in Western culture. Does it make one right and not the other? No, the reason why women are suppressed in many nations is a result of the curse and a lack of understanding of our origins before the fall, where all the truth of life abides. God’s original intent. This is one example of a Goliath that needs defeating, but it’s nothing on the outside: it’s in people's minds. How do you create slaves of any culture? It can happen in religion or any field of life through achieving consensus with agreed-upon definitions and labels that produce a shared perspective. One of the fastest ways to discover this is in today's world. When we interact with different cultures, we soon find that their philosophies and perspectives differ from ours due to exposure to other information. One culture is not inherently better than another, as we are often biased by our own cultural background. It has been so naturalised that when an idea is repeated repeatedly, it becomes the default setting in the mind.

Take, for instance, a rationalist, a religious or an atheist, any starting point, you may be a Marxist, a capitalist, you may have goals that you want to buy a house, have a big family, live by the sea. We need to stop right here. The fact that people identify with those thoughts means they have been socialised into some system. As an example, right from birth, we are socialised by a discursive system of meanings, such as your parents saying you will be a doctor, they can label you and give you all kinds of ideas that may not be what God created you for. We are socialised by the politics in our land, as well as the economics, religion, and culture, all of which we did not choose for ourselves.

This depends on where we are born on the world map, meaning my life and yours would be so different if we were born in another culture, meaning all the discursive systems of meanings that shape our views of the world were not by our choice. This is where we find the tension between the ideas continuously sown into our minds and what is true. When an idea has been sold to the subconscious repeatedly, it has no form of resistance; it cannot differentiate truth from lies. It is only in the conscious mind that it can reject or accept. Before the age of seven, we had no resistance. This is when the identity of the self is shaped, based on ideas about family, religion, and every idea that one has been exposed to. Just look at how an accent is formed without your conscious consent.

Unless you are exposed to superior information, that will generally set the trajectory of your path. Even the Bible says, "train a child in the way he should go and he will not depart from it." The building blocks of life are words. Yet there is another layer of complexity: the word that serves as a signpost for a tree is related to an image that may come from your culture, with meanings that are not inherent in the tree itself but socially constructed by culture with a narrative. This narrative may be shared within a culture as it has been passed down through generations, much like Santa Claus and many other cultural symbols shaped by meaning.

We often do not notice these meanings as they have become like the fuselage on a plane; people identify words and ideas as who they are, with their identity. You can see this in nationalism when a person has identified so much with their culture that comes from the earth, they are sentimental to the point that they will fight and debate that their culture is superior to any other culture on this earth. If humanity has come from the same source, it depends on the reason for creation. Culture is man-made, but the originator of mankind has the original intent for his creation. God does not have favourites; he chose Israel as his firstborn son. He likens a nation to one son. That means other sons relate to different cultures.

God chose Abraham because He was certain he would teach His truth to the next generation. Abraham is the father of faith, who gave birth to the seed that would redeem all nations back to Him. The seed was not born until around 2000 years later. Today, the messianic message that the kingdom of God has come is not in the future but now. We have access to everything just by faith, not by works. This is related to the kingdom culture, which is relevant to all humankind because it is the truth that we are made not only of flesh and blood but of the Spirit, which is the part of us that lives forevermore. It is the second death that matters more than the first. There are universal truths that relate to all humankind, not just to one culture. This is why we must separate words and meanings that come from the earth or the mind of God. You can tell the difference by observing whether the information relates to a specific group of people or to all of creation. Life or death is in the words that produce meanings.

  • Chelsea boss Maresca, Full Pre - Fluminense press conference for the club world cup semi finals :

    Lavia fitness:
'Romeo is training but he is not training with us. Unfortunately he is not ready for tomorrow.'

    Colwill and Delap suspension:
"In the last game, we had Romeo out, Moi out and Reece out and we found a solution. With Levi and Liam out, we will find a different solution. Joao is ready, also Nico."

    Madueke's frame of mind:
"Personally I think the same noise before the Palmeiras game, and we gave him half an hour and he was very good. I don't have any doubts that if we need Noni, he will help us. I can understand when there is noise around you, it is difficult to deal with that."

    Jackson dealing with competition:
"Nico is okay. Game-plan for tomorrow? Every game we try to adapt a little bit ourselves in terms of finding solutions. Tomorrow we are going to do exactly the same. Nico is training well. In almost the last two games he played, he was sent off. He is working well. He played the Conference League final and scored. At this moment, he is okay."

Would you like to see your players be more like Thiago Silva?: "I'm happy with the way our players are. We respect Thiago, absolutely, but we do not prepare for the game on one player."

Joao Pedro - pressure on him?:
"For sure, Joao, Liam and Nico know exactly the No.9s at Chelsea . In my idea, I prefer to have all five players scoring 10 or 12 goals each rather than one striker scoring 40 goals. We expect more goals next season from our attacking players."

    Joao Pedro long-term position:
"I think Joao can play in all the attacking positions for us. The difference is with Nico, I see him as just a No.9 but I see Joao in different positions."

    Facing third Brazilian team:
"From any game you can learn things; from different countries and managers. You can always learn. The first two Brazilian teams were very good with lots and lots of energy and we think it will be the same tomorrow."

    Young team vs old team:
"You can have advantage or disadvantage - it depends a bit. We have one season together being the youngest in the Premier League and we were able to win games. Tomorrow, it will be the same. We are the first or second youngest in the competition and we will face the oldest one."

3pm kick-off a concern because of the heat?:
"I watched the game [Real Madrid vs Dortmund] from television and it was a fantastic temperature. It's not just tomorrow's game. We have already played with difficult conditions. The game is at 3pm and we are going to try and adapt."

Facing third Brazilian team: "From any game you can learn things; from different countries and managers. You can always learn. The first two Brazilian teams were very good with lots and lots of energy and we think it will be the same tomorrow." Young team vs old team: "You can have advantage or disadvantage - it depends a bit. We have one season together being the youngest in the Premier League and we were able to win games. Tomorrow, it will be the same. We are the first or second youngest in the competition and we will face the oldest one." 3pm kick-off a concern because of the heat?: "I watched the game [Real Madrid vs Dortmund] from television and it was a fantastic temperature. It's not just tomorrow's game. We have already played with difficult conditions. The game is at 3pm and we are going to try and adapt."
