BE THE KIND, THEN MARRY YOUR KIND.

Whenever I think about how i'm going to pay hefty bills, cover the rents, fuel the cars, make sure there's electricity for my family to sleep better at night, send my kids to the best schools and give them the good life that I never had; it gives me a million reasons why I cannot afford to marry WRONG. Not because I need someone who will come and share the rents with me, but because I need a peaceful, loyal and loving wife who will motivate me to go out and fight for her everyday.

A woman who will make coming home to my own house the best thing in the world.

A woman who will make sleeping together at night, on the same bed, the best part of my day.

A woman that will make me drive through KFC and Marcopolo restaurants happily with an empty starving stomach, just so I can have enough room for the delicious fruits of her kitchen.

That woman that King Lemuel's mother prophesied about in Proverbs 31:22; a woman who will make fine coverings for our bed with red roses and sweet scented candles, and still dress up in silk and purple underwear to wait for me in the shower.
... Same woman who will open her mouth in wisdom and speak words of kindness and love even when she is angry.
... Same woman whose fear and reverence for the Lord will stand in the gap for me in those moment where I am too distracted to hear God for myself.

YES THAT KIND OF WOMAN!

... Because I am the kind of man;

I am the kind who will never hang with the boys at the bar until late, sleep out for no reason she doesn't approve, will do all it takes to come back home to my loving wife.

I am the kind who will never sleep in a separate room because of unforgiveness, or make the bed cold by laying with my wife angry.

I am the kind who will never eat outside my wife's cooking, work hard to be home early for dinner, and appreciate her efforts no matter the taste.

I am a Proverbs 31:23 kind; a husband who will rub her feet in hot water with lemon and honey, jump out of the closet in a sexy gucci underwear, give her a back massage in the shower, and you know the rest mushy mushy, halleluyah! .
... The same kind like my wife in Proverbs 31:26, who will open his mouth with wisdom and speak in love, kindness and respect, even when angry.
... The same kind whose fear and reverence for the Lord will be like a spiritual power bank to my wife in those times when hers is running low.

Every body wants a God-fearing partner, but the question is; are you also God-fearing, are you what you want from a partner?

MESSAGE
Today's text shows that some things are more valuable than money.

In the realm of true wealth, money is never mentioned.

When God talks about true wealth, He does not consider money. It's only men that consider money as wealth...

Unfortunately, that is what most people know about riches and wealth.

Joseph entered Egypt with nothing physically but he rose to the highest position in the land by a higher economic value than money; in a process of time, he bought all the land of Egypt and the people who once bought him with a higher currency than silver and gold...

Daniel entered Babylon as a slave and had more influence than the king Nebuchadnezzar...
True wealth is not measured by silver and gold or money. Real wealth is the economy of higher values that money pales in comparison with.

True wealth is eternal, durable and higher in value than all that can be desired by men.

Those who possess true riches can not be "broke" in this life.

Unfortunately, many are so poor and miserably wretched; all they have is money. Sadly, many will never know how true this is until they are faced with situations that can not be arrested by money.

When life-threatening situations place demands on men, that is when we know how valueless money is in the days of wrath.

When spirits that can not be bribed or bought with money place demands on men and all they can provide as a ransome is money they end up losing their lives...

Death has no regard for your money. God has no regard for your money. In the first place, all the money belongs to Him.

Beloved, it is possible to be wealthy in silver and gold and yet bankrupt of true wealth before God and spirits.

The Laodicean church in the book of Revelation bragged about her riches in silver and gold but was seen by the LORD as wretched, poor, miserable, blind and naked... [Revelation 3:14-18]

True wealth is having Christ in your heart and living a godly life with sound character and wisdom before the LORD.

ACTION STEPS
1. Prayerfully meditate on today's devotional guide again.
2. Prioritise God's word and wisdom in your life above everything else.
3. Seek godly character and wisdom from the Lord above silver and gold.

PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. I subscribe to true wealth from you today, make me wealthy according to your own standard of true wealth and keep me as the apple of your eyes in Jesus' name. Amen.
