Terminating the spirit of Uzziah. The name Uzziah means "the strength of God." Uzziah was not an enemy to Isaiah, so don't get it wrong. Uzziah was a representative of pride. Please, I want you to know something. I'm speaking to you, speaking to me, speaking to us. There is nobody who has gone up that can't come down. Don't trust in your wealth. What is in your life that you depend on? A life without restriction will suffer destruction.

There are things you must not do, even if you can do them. There are things that come to our head, but for the sake of covenant, we can't let them come out of our mouth. When you become useless, you make yourself inconsequential. There are businesses a Christian should not be involved in based on scripture. The exit of Hosea tells us—don't overcelebrate your present level. Appreciate God for it, but there is something more. The biggest enemy of your next level is your previous achievement. Many of you don't know who you are, that is why your current level feels like a big deal to you.

There are some people who will only learn from failure. Let him fail. Do you think anybody could have spoken to the prodigal son? If you still have somebody committed to counseling you, God loves you. I beg God every time—may I never be too big for counsel. When grace leaves you, men will leave you. But can I say this to you? The message has been passed. I don't really like when people want to advise me and they're looking at me Emmanuel Ese’s. If you want to advise me, see me as somebody you are helping.


We are in a generation where success has relatives, but failure is an orphan. Don't think some people can't leave you—just pray that God does not leave you. When God leaves you, you will know. There's nothing like a best friend. When Uzziah dies, the first thing you see—you see God for who He is. Your revelation of God is known in your reference for God. Ah! You know, Satan knows how to sponsor rebellion so you can go even further. There are things you don't say to a pastor. We walk with covenant, and spirituality has no respect for ignorance.

In this kingdom, we don't condemn people just because we have issues with them. All the good things a person has done—you forget immediately. What kind of generation is this? A generation with short memory, with amnesia. We forget the good of people because of one thing happening now. The only thing you do in a place where you know they don't like your father is—when you get there, remind them who your father is. When you see God for who He is, you desire to spend time with Him. You become a replica of what you spend time with.

Redemption does not automatically mean prosperity, so stop thinking that because Christ has paid, Christ paid the price for your redemption—not for your wealth. A constant reminder of where God picked you from keeps you humble. Never be proud. If you mess up, God has a backup. The person God brings to take your place is always better than you. God is aware of your limitations, yet He found you. Please be grateful. Never be self-reliant. There is no self-made man—there are only God-made men.

Constant gratitude is proof of genuine appreciation. Anything you are enjoying today—thank God for it. Stop telling people how you qualified for it. If you want to give God glory, don't touch it—give Him all of it. Anyone who corrupts your mind over your covering is a plague that should be avoided. Bad influence is worse than cancer. There are people who should not be around you. No one who genuinely loves you will speak against what covers you.

At salvation, God positions us as saviors! (Obad 1:21). This is especially to our families, friends and neighbors! We become the spiritual covering and intercessors for them. Yes, our prayers over our families could save them and us a lot of trouble. It can also open up a lot of blessings for even those of our household whom we don’t feel qualify for heavens best! God intentionally placed us in our homes to be his salt and light. It is our duty to preserve, sweeten, guide and brighten our families!

1. Pray, ‘Father I thank you for my family. I thank you for every mercy and grace you have shown us. I believe you for a greater blessing in my home this year in Jesus name!’

PRESIDENT TINUBU DIRECTS SECURITY AGENCIES TO ARREST KILLERS IN BENUE, ADVISES GOVERNOR ALIA TO SET UP PEACE COMMITTEE



President Bola Tinubu has directed the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, to immediately arrest killer herders who perpetrated the heinous killing of over 100 people in Yelewata community in Benue State.

President Tinubu gave the directive while addressing stakeholders at the Government House, Markudi.

The meeting included the Secretary to the Federal Government, George Akume, Traditional Rulers, and former Governors of the state.

The governors of Kwara, Imo, Kogi, Plateau, Ondo, and Nasarawa also attended the meeting.

President Tinubu called out the Inspector General of Police to know why arrests have not been made.

"How come no one has been arrested for committing this heinous crime in Yelewata. Inspector General of Police, where are the arrests? The criminals must be arrested immediately," President Tinubu said.

He urged the heads of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) to intensify surveillance and gather actionable intelligence to apprehend the perpetrators.

He told the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, of the need for vigilance and collaboration between communities and security forces.

Advising Governor Alia on the importance of stakeholder management for peaceful and progressive governance, the President urged the governor to set up a peace committee in the state that will include former governors of Benue, elders, traditional rulers, federal government officials, and non-indigenes living in the state.

"Let us meet again in Abuja. Let's fashion out a framework for lasting peace. I am ready to invest in that peace. I assure you, we will find peace. We will convert this tragedy into prosperity," he said.

President Tinubu urged Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State to allocate land for ranching and directed the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security to follow up.



He called for blood donations to support the injured receiving treatment at the Benue State Teaching Hospital, where he had earlier visited victims and medical staff.

While underscoring the importance of peace for sustainable development, President Tinubu implored the Governor to ensure Benue is peaceful, adding that the circumstances of his visit this time should not have been a reason to visit.

"I wanted to come here to commission projects, to reassure you of hope and prosperity, not to see gloomy faces. But peace is vital to development," he said.

"The value of human life is greater than that of a cow. We were elected to govern, not to bury people", he stressed.

He charged Governor Alia with working with the federal government to restore peace.

"Governor Alia, you were elected under the progressive banner to ensure peace, stability, and progress. You are not elected to bury people or comfort widows and orphans. We will work with you to achieve that peace. You must also work with us.

"Not everyone will like you in politics. They hate me, too—like hell. But here I am, still your President. I made a promise to protect democracy, freedom, and prosperity, even for my abusers and accusers. That's leadership," the President emphasised.

In his remarks, Governor Hyacinth Alia appealed to the Federal Government to establish a Special Intervention Fund for communities affected by repeated violent attacks across Benue State.

"Your Excellency, while we continue to mourn our losses and rebuild from the ashes of pain, we humbly urge the Federal Government to consider establishing a special intervention fund for communities affected by these incessant attacks in Benue State," he said.

Governor Alia said the fund would support the rehabilitation of displaced persons, reconstruction of destroyed homes and infrastructure, and the restoration of livelihoods, especially for farmers.

He reiterated his support for establishing state police as a lasting solution to insecurity.

The Governor pledged his administration's full commitment to building a safe, stable, prosperous Benue State.

Also speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Benue State Traditional Council, Tor Tiv, Orchivirigh Prof. James Ayatse, praised President Tinubu for being the first sitting President to personally visit victims in the hospital in the wake of such a tragedy.

He thanked the President for appointing notable Benue indigenes into key positions, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Professor Joseph Utsev, while expressing hope that more appointments would follow.



On the recurring spate of insecurity in the state, the monarch took time to address misinformation and mischaracterisation, saying that land grabbing is at the core of the decades-long conflict.

"Your Excellency, it is not herder-farmer clashes. It is not communal clashes. It is not reprisal attacks or skirmishes. What we are dealing with here in Benue is a calculated, well-planned, full-scale genocidal invasion and land-grabbing campaign by herder-terrorists and bandits."

He cautioned that mischaracterising the crisis had led to inadequate responses and accused some political actors of exploiting the situation for selfish gain.

"We hear that some politicians would even prefer that the crisis worsens, so it would serve as a basis for declaring a state of emergency. This is unfortunate. Any politician who prays for more people to die for such a project is working against the wishes of the people of Benue State," he said.

He therefore appealed to President Tinubu to restore peace to the state and every part of Nigeria.

"All we ask of you, sir, is to stop our weeping. Give us peace in Benue State, so our people, primarily farmers, can return to their farms and continue to produce food for Nigeria.

"I heard a story about a challenge in a place in Kwara State, and you rose and gave them peace in Kaiama. You can do that for Benue."

So, what is net worth? Simply put, it’s the total value of what you own (your assets) minus what you owe (your liabilities).

Let me clarify this. When we hear Forbes mentioning millionaires or billionaires, they’re referring to net worth, not the cash in someone’s bank account.

Calculating your net worth is straightforward: Assets minus Liabilities equals Net Worth.

But there's also something called 'liquid net worth'. I like talking about this.

This is the part of your net worth that’s readily available in cash or cash equivalents. For example, if you have savings in a bank account or investments that can be quickly converted to cash without significant loss, that’s your liquid net worth.

Regularly calculating your net worth has impactful benefits. It provides a clear picture of your financial standing, helping you make informed decisions.

Here are four practical ways to improve your net worth, even amidst inflation and economic challenges across Cameroon and other countries:

a) Budget Wisely: Create a realistic budget that prioritizes savings and investments. Stick to it! It requires self discipline.

b) Invest Smartly: Look for investment opportunities that balance risk and return. Diversify your portfolio to protect against market volatility. This point B is for people that have been saving and have some money to invest. If not, start saving with an investment plan in mind.

c) Reduce Liabilities: Focus on paying off high-interest debts. Avoid accumulating unnecessary debts. Stop buying liabilities oh.

I decided to travel to China to get it, because it is a line of business I know very well. Man of God, things turned around for me. I made great profit from the business. Do you know that the man that caused this problem to me is completely blind now. Though I did not bother to asked, because I have been seriously busy with my business. "When the teacher becomes the poorest of government employees, don't ask about the future.

In every nation, there is a standard that never fails to measure its future: look at the state of its teachers, and you will know where it is headed. If the teacher is honored, the nation is heading towards prosperity, and if they are marginalized, then know that the society is heading towards the abyss of ignorance and decline.

The teacher is not just an employee who performs a daily duty, but rather the foundation upon which generations are built, and the basis upon which civilizations are established. So, what if this foundation is fragile, struggling to make ends meet, and fighting harsh conditions that show no mercy? What if the profession of shaping minds becomes synonymous with poverty and deprivation?

When you see a teacher suffering, know that the nation has abandoned its glory, and the society has begun to lose its way. The teacher is not just an individual in society, but rather the builder of civilizations, the guardian of identity, and the bearer of the torch of knowledge in the paths of ignorance. A state that ignores its teachers is destroying its own foundation with its own hands, and digging the grave of its future in deadly silence.

The strength of nations is not in their high walls, nor in their treasure troves filled with gold, nor in their equipment, but in the minds of their children, which are shaped by the teacher. When states neglect their teachers, they are compromising their true security, because knowledge alone is the weapon that does not rust, and the power that is not defeated.

Schools are not just buildings made of brick and mortar, but factories for minds, and laboratories for revival. What is the use of walls if there is no thought that illuminates, and no knowledge that changes? A nation that makes the teacher just a marginalized employee is destroying the pillars of its future with its own hands, and condemning itself to remain in the shadows.

When the teacher's salary is the lowest on the state's salary scale, barely enough to last two or three days, know that the state has chosen ignorance over knowledge, and decline over progress. The teacher is not just an employee who performs daily tasks, but rather a leader who shapes minds, and an engineer who builds the future.

What if the state neglects its teachers, and thereby destroys the future of its people with its own hands? How can a nation prosper when its teachers are begging for respect before rights? How can a society progress when its role model is crushed under the weight of poverty and neglect? When the teacher is unable to secure their most basic needs, education becomes a trade, and schools turn into centers for grades rather than minds.

The teacher is the torch that lights the way for generations, and if the state extinguishes this torch, it will plunge into the darkness of ignorance and backwardness. And when the dignity of the teacher is broken, it is not just an individual who collapses, but an entire nation.

We have two choices, and there is no third option: either we make the teacher the foundation for progress, or we continue to fall into the swamp of backwardness. Nations that respected their teachers built their civilizations, and nations that neglected them became a thing of the past.

There is no revival without education, and no education without a noble teacher. If we want to build a future that is worthy of pride, let us start by preserving the dignity of those who shape minds.
