• *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE*

    DATE: FRIDAY 23RD MAY 2025

    THEME: *TRAVEL AT YOUR PACE*

    MEMORIZE
    2 Corinthians 10:12
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

    READ
    John 21:20-22
Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*We are called differently for different reasons, hence our uniqueness in everything*

    MESSAGE
Life is a journey and we all travel differently, many times in different directions and with different assignments from God.

However, if we all follow God's plans for our lives individually and particularly, there will always be a converging point though we may be traveling in different directions.

As our capacities vary so also is our destinies. God built every person's capacity based on his or her destiny.

We are not the same, neither are we wired the same way this is because our purposes and destinies are not the same either. Each of us is uniquely different from others.

In today's text, Jesus reprimanded Peter for busybody instead of minding his own calling and assignment. *We are called differently for different reasons hence our uniqueness in everything.*

The donkey for instance is not as fast as the horse, it doesn't travel as fast as the horse, but it's a very unique beast of burden and transport. For instance, it covers an average distance of about 20km a day. It is not as smart as the horse, sometimes, we call people who are not smart donkeys; but the donkey is a very clever beast, it can memorise and remember any route it travels, the horse may not and must needs be guided always.

So even if you can't travel as fast as a horse, be glad if you can move like a donkey, after all, it is said that slow and steady wins the race.

Consider also that our Lord chose to use a donkey to enter Jerusalem. The king of Kings travelled on a donkey. The Holy family travelled from Nazareth to Bethlehem the birth place of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, it took about 9days for them to get there in those days, (a journey of about 180km) however, the important thing was that they arrived on schedule for the birth of the Savior!

If you will focus all your energy on your goal and destination in life and keep on moving according to your strength and pace, you also will arrive on schedule.

Avoid the rat race of comparing yourself with other people, envying and competing with others. You will never be like them no matter how you try because you were created differently for different reasons.

Appreciate your uniqueness and celebrate it.

    Shalom!

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Discover your uniqueness and celebrate it.
    2. Avoid emulations and seditions.
    3. Stay within the boundaries of your grace and mercy from God.

    REMEMBER
*We are called differently for different reasons, hence our uniqueness in everything*

    HYMN
Just as I am------without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidd'st me come to Thee,
    O Lamb of God, I come !

    2
Just as I am---poor, wretched, blind,
    Sight, riches, healing of the mind ;
Yea, all I need, in Thee to find,
    O Lamb of God, 1 come !

    3
Just as I am-----Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve :
    Because thy promise I believe,
    O Lamb of God, I come !

    4
Just as I am----Thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down :
Now to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
    O Lamb of God, I come !

  • Good day my beloved brethren. I trust you are doing great , Praise God!

    TODAY'S WORD OF GOD:

"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11"

Using the resources God has given you efficiently and effectively guarantees your success in life.
The Kingdom of God operates in a certain mindset and consciousness that makes it enjoy continual victory and prosperity.
One of them is the mindset of waging warfare against evil. Ever since Lucifer became Satan, there has been no peace on Earth because of his evil nature; he cannot do anything aside from being evil.
He continually wages war against the saints and he is responsible for sin, failure, diseases, disappointments, poverty, and the like.

Dearly beloved, as a child of God, you shouldn't be ignorant of this truth but rather arm yourself continually with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, then you will always win. Hallelujah!
You are an overcomer in Jesus Christ name.

Topic: The Glory of the Kingdom of Heaven (5)

_Main Text: Hebrews 11:40 – “God having provided something better for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”_

Brethren, I welcome you to the fifth edition of this insightful series. I pray that your understanding of His Word will deepen as we explore the unmatched glory of the kingdom of heaven in Jesus’ name.

Previously, we learned that even the least in the kingdom is greater than John the Baptist, because unlike him, the least in the Kingdom don’t just behold Jesus, we carry Him within us. In this edition, we will focus on the glory or divine worth that a candidate for the kingdom of heaven possesses.

To begin with, let me emphasize that if you are born again by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are not just saved, you are a citizen of the Kingdom of heaven. Unfortunately, many people fail to grasp the value that heaven places on them. As a matter of fact, you must understand that your worth is not measured by worldly achievements, but by Christ in you.

For example, John, though not a citizen of the kingdom, was esteemed above kings like Solomon and David. Yet Scripture says you are greater than John. Why, then, do you diminish your identity by longing for the mantles of Elijah or Moses? They were mighty men, but you carry the fullness of what they only glimpsed.

Friends, kindly read the main text for this edition, and you will observe that God has reserved something better for you. In fact, I can confirm to you that without us, the heroes of old cannot be made perfect. We are the “finished work” generation. Their stories can only be complete through our story.

So, I ask: Are you born again? Have you received Christ? If so, it is time to walk in your true identity. Stop comparing yourself with unbelievers or measuring value by earthly standards. Jesus in you is your glory. He defines your significance before God, not fame, not riches, not applause. Accept Him, live for Him, and walk boldly in the glory of the kingdom.

Thank you for joining this study. See you in the next edition.

    DATE: WEDNESDAY 21ST MAY 2025

THEME: *THE POWER AND PRIVILEGE OF LEADERSHIP*

    MEMORIZE
    Revelation 2:26
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
    (KJV)

    READ
    Revelation 2:26-29
[26]“To everyone who overcomes—who to the very end keeps on doing things that please me—I will give power over the nations.
[27]You will rule them with a rod of iron just as my Father gave me the authority to rule them; they will be shattered like a pot of clay that is broken into tiny pieces.
[28]And I will give you the Morning Star!
[29]“Let all who can hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.
    (LBV)

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*You cannot control what you have not conquered.*

    MESSAGE
Leadership is one of the most misunderstood subjects amongst people in the world today, because of the perverted and lopsided ideologies of people about leadership.

Leaders are people God can trust with the Grace to give direction to people for Him, God is a Spirit and cannot be seen with the human eyes, however, He works through people everywhere; leaders are those who occupy the place of God over people for God. In other words, God borrowed them His position temporarily to see what they will do with it. And when He finds them faithful after some tests, He promotes them.

Here are a few things to note if you desire to be influential and powerful with God in leading people for Him.

*God doesn't put people in charge of things that they have not conquered.* Rulers are those who have power to rule over themselves first and things that they are to rule over.

Whatever you conquer will be brought under you. For instance, if you conquer food, you will be trusted with much provisions for yourself and others, if you conquer the love of money, you will be trusted with real wealth, if you conquer the love of women as a man, you will be trusted by God with women to protect and nurture to greatness. *Whatever you conquer is what you will be given the power to control.*

*You cannot control what you have not conquered.*

In today's text, it tells us that those who overcome, and keeps the work of the Lord till the end will be given the power over nations and they shall rule them with a rod of iron.

It is important to note that the power of rulership comes from the hands of the Lord and He determines who to trust with it. However we can tell what He expects from such people that must be in charge of other people for Him.

Do you have a passion for leadership, or have you been trusted with leadership of any kind? Do you want to grow in your influence in life. Then be determined to conquer yourself first, you cannot be living carelessly and be able to lead others. Conquer your appetites, tame your love for money, conquer your desires for food, and pleasures and God will increase your leadership influence.

    SHALOM, maranatha!

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Thank God for His mercies and faithfulness in your life.
    2. Be determined to yield yourself to the leadership of the Holy Spirit much more than ever in your life.
    3. Ask the Lord to remove everything that is hindering your spiritual growth and development in Him.

    PRAYERS
Heavenly Father, thank you for today's devotional guide. I receive grace to be trusted by you, I receive grace to overcome the things that seek to overthrow my faith in you and to stay true to your word to the end in Jesus name.

    REMEMBER
*You cannot control what you have not conquered.*

    HYMN
Take my life, and let it be
    Consecrated, Lord, to Thee ;
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

    2
Take my hands, and let them move
    At the impulse of Thy love ;
Take my feet, and let them be
    Swift and beautiful for Thee.

    3
Take my voice, and let me sing
    Always, only, for my King ;
Take my lips, and let them be
    Filled with messages from Thee.

    4
    Take my silver and my gold ;
    Not a mite would I withhold :
    Take my intellect, and use
Every power as Thou shalt choose.

    5
    Take my will, and make it Thine ;
It shall be no longer mine :
Take my heart----it is Thine own,
It shall be Thy royal throne.

    6
Take my love : my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure store :
Take myself; and I will be
    Ever, only, all for Thee.

Topic: The Glory of the Kingdom of Heaven (3)

_Main Text: Hebrews 11:39 - “And all these, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise.”_

Brethren, welcome to the third edition of this enriching series. May the Lord grant you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Amen.

In our last edition, we reflected on the life of John the Baptist, whom Jesus described as the greatest among those born of women. This statement is striking, especially when viewed through the lens of human standards, where greatness is often measured by outward accomplishments such as miracles, wealth, or status. We concluded that in the Kingdom of Heaven, greatness is not defined by results, influence, or earthly success. In this edition, we will go deeper into why John held such a high rank in the eyes of Jesus.

Friends, to fully grasp the context of this revelation, I encourage you to read Hebrews 11 in its entirety. This chapter, often referred to as the “Hall of Faith,” lists many of the patriarchs; men and women who demonstrated unwavering faith. Yet, verse 39 gives us a deeper insight, stating that “All these, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise.” For purposes of clarity, permit me to tell you that this “promise” that they did not receive was not material wealth, earthly possessions, or even answered personal prayers. Rather, it was something far more profound: the hope of the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ, the King and His Kingdom.

Child of God, you must understand that while John the Baptist had intimacy with the King, these patriarchs saw Him from a distance. They prophesied of Him, longed for Him, and shaped their lives around the promise of His coming. They embraced shadows, types, and figures like Moses lifting the brazen serpent without ever beholding the reality in their time, and Isaiah, prophesying of Him as He whom the government will be on His shoulder, but never experienced Him. But then came John the Baptist, and unlike the patriarchs, John did not merely hope for the promise; he witnessed it. He beheld the Lamb of God with his own eyes, introduced Him to his generation, and had the sacred honor of baptizing Him.

Given the above insights, I can confirm to you, as inspired by the Holy Spirit, that in the Kingdom of Heaven, your greatness is measured by how clearly Jesus is revealed to you and how faithfully you reveal Him to others. For instance, John may not have worked miracles. He had no personal wealth, no church building, and no worldwide platform. Yet he carried the deepest revelation of Jesus in his time. That intimate knowledge and personal encounter with Christ was the reason Jesus esteemed him so highly. In contrast, many persons in this generation boast of signs and wonders, large congregations, and impressive ministries, yet lack true intimacy with the King. Simply put, proximity to Jesus outweighs performance for Jesus.

Beloved, how much of Jesus do you truly know? Beyond your public ministry, your social media followers, or your spiritual gifts, how much of Christ has been formed in you? How much of Him do you carry and reveal to your generation? Don’t forget, John’s life teaches us that true Kingdom greatness flows from a heart that knows, beholds, and reveals Jesus.

Thank you for studying this edition with me. In our next edition, we will explore the profound mystery of how the least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John the Baptist. You won’t want to miss it.

*Kingdom Matters Devotional* Topic: The Glory of the Kingdom of Heaven (3) _Main Text: Hebrews 11:39 - “And all these, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise.”_ Brethren, welcome to the third edition of this enriching series. Shalom, Bro. • Good morning my beloved brethren.I trust you are doing great , Praise God!

    TODAY'S WORD OF GOD:

"And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. 1 Chronicles 28:20"

Leaving behind a good legacy directs many generations to God. David lived a good life as a king of Israel. Knowing that he would soon depart from this earth, he raised Solomon in the fear of the Lord to take his place as king.

Dear beloved, the best legacy to leave behind is to raise people around you up in the fear of God to continue your good work.
Remember also that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ also left behind good legacies; the best of them were the twelve apostles, who continued His good works and they also left behind good legacies themselves in the souls they won for Christ.
As a child of God, always ask yourself, "What legacy am I leaving behind?" (Good or bad)?
This will guide you to conduct your life to fulfill your God-given purpose and leave behind a good legacy for posterity.
God almighty will continue to put our conscience in check, convict, and convince us to do the right things always in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
    Be an overcomer! Hallelujah!
    SHALOM!
