*START YOUR DAY WITH GOD...* 🧾 *HUNGER FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS* 📖 _Matthew 5:6_ _"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."_ Have you ever been truly hungry? The kind of hunger that takes over everything—your thoughts, your mood, your focus. That is the kind of longing Jesus describes in our opening scripture but not for food; It is a hunger for God Himself. A deep desire to live in a way that pleases Him, to be close to Him and to know Him more. This kind of hunger is not an attempt to get Him to do things for us. It is about recognizing how much we need Him and longing to be more like Him. The more time we spend in His Word, in prayer and fellowship, the more we realize how much we truly need Him. If you have been feeling distant or spiritually dry, do not be discouraged. That emptiness you feel is actually an invitation—God is drawing you closer. So lean in. Talk to Him. Read His Word even when it feels hard. Let your soul reach for Him. He has promised that those who hunger and thirst for Him will be filled. And He never breaks His promise. He will fill you with His peace, His presence, and His power.
