During the Third Service of the Covenant Day Of Financial Fortune Service, Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr admonished the congregation to follow God's direction rather than following where everybody else is going. He further stated that if one travels abroad against God's will, such person may not prosper.

He said: “When God is the one leading you, you don't suffer the conditions of the external climate. God's Servant has shared over and again, he said: “I am in no doubt that I’m in the center of the center of God's plan for my life. That's why things are flourishing! So many people are taking steps based on what they call ‘opportunity.’ Church Gist. Please hear this, don't mistake opportunity for destiny. If God didn't lead you to Canada and you go to Canada, Canada will dis-Canada you. If God did not lead you to United Kingdom and you run to the United Kingdom in the name of ‘Japa,’ you may have to ‘Japada.’ Are you getting what I'm saying? Now! It's so important for us to understand, don't live life by the direction everybody else is going, follow His direction!”
