A new male birth control injectable called ADAM, developed by biotech company Contraline, has entered Phase 2 human trials in Australia. The non-hormonal hydrogel is injected into the vas deferens to block sperm flow for up to two years. Early trials showed effective sperm blockage without major side effects.
