*BUSY HERE AND THERE; YET THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS LOST*

"As the king was passing by, he cried out to the king and told him, “Your servant went out into the middle of the battle, and a soldier turned aside, brought a prisoner to me, and told me, *‘Guard this man. If he turns up missing for any reason at all, you’ll pay for it with your life* or be fined one talentr of silver.’ While your servant was busy here and there, the prisoner escaped.” The king told him, “By your actions you’ve earned the proper judgment!” 1 Kings 20:39-40

I just looked at the book by John Maxwell titled MAKE TODAY COUNT. He said:" *_Any realistic assessment of priorities in any area of life must start with a realistic assessment of what a person must do._"* It is so sad that a lot of people have lost the opportunity of achieving their most important goals or assignments in life because they got busy with other things that are transitory, pedestrian and unprofitable to their main purposes. The only job given to that soldier was to just guard or keep one man. Look at Luke 10:40-42 [Amplified]: "But Martha was very busy and distracted with all of her serving responsibilities; and she approached Him and said, “Lord, is it of no concern to You that my sister has left me to do the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her part.” But the Lord replied to her, *“Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; but only one thing is necessary,* for Mary has chosen the good part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.” Oh dear Lord, please help me not to lose fellowship with you, or fail in getting people saved or in performing my essential works in life by being busy with other things in life in Jesus Christ name. Amen. Good morning. Amanim
