The #HindRajab Foundation, a pro-Palestinian non-governmental organization based in Brussels, announced on Saturday that it has filed a criminal complaint in Germany against a #German-Israeli soldier who served as a tank commander in the IOF, accusing him of involvement in war crimes during the war in #Gaza.
According to the organization, the officer, who served in the IOF's 188th Armored Brigade, participated in major combat operations in Gaza.
The foundation, which publicly disclosed his name and photograph, says it possesses videos and images, some said to be shared by the soldier himself, depicting deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure, shelling of residential neighborhoods, and celebratory remarks about urban destruction. The foundation argues that these actions constitute serious violations of the Geneva Conventions.
