Trump: “Disappointed but not done” with Putin
Donald Trump told the BBC he is “disappointed” in Vladimir Putin but “not done” with him, saying he thought a peace deal on Ukraine was possible multiple times — only for Putin to “knock down a building in Kyiv.”
Trump said Ukraine would now get more weapons and warned Russia of “severe tariffs” if it doesn’t accept a ceasefire in 50 days.
He also reversed past criticism of NATO, praising allies for spending more and reaffirming support for collective defence.
