Revelation 20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 20:12-15
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*God's eyes are everywhere watching you.*
MESSAGE
Today's text tells us of one great day coming up in God's calendar when all men shall stand before God. It shall be a very long day because it's a day of judgement for everyone who has ever walked this earth.
Although this judgement is for the dead, because John said, he "saw the dead small and great", and though we shall not all sleep, yet God's judgement will not exclude anyone because the Apostle Paul also said:
Romans 14:10-12 "...we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."
The judgement shall be fair and just because it is a judgement based on documented facts. It says in today's memory verse that they were judged according to what was written in the books.
This goes to say that God has books in which He records everything about everyone that has ever lived or will ever live on this earth. The judgement shall be true and honest, no error or falsehood because the records were kept by God based on the works of men.
The records will be thorough and comprehensive because the one who keeps these records knows and sees all things.
Beloved, there is a record keeping going on daily concerning you and your daily activities, movements, and operations. Nothing escapes God's record. Men may forget to keep records, not God. His eyes are everywhere, watching everything that everyone has done or is doing. It is based on the records in these books that all shall be judged.
These books are kept by God Himself, where nobody can access to change their contents.
Watch what you think, say, and do because God has His eyes everywhere, and accurate records are being kept about everyone, everything, and every event.
ACTION STEPS
1. Watch what you think, say, and do daily.
2. Avoid anything that could embarrass you on the day of reckoning.
3. Stay in the love of God and seek to do His pleasure.
PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. Oh God in heaven, keep me perpetually in your love for your name sake in Jesus' name. Amen.

A little while, and we shall be
Where sin shall never dwell ;
A little while, and we shall live
Where songs of triumph swell.
A little while, . . and we shall see . .
Our Sa - - viour face to face, . .
And we shall sing . . through endless years . .
The won - - ders of His grace. . .
2
A little while, and we shall stand
Amid the blood- washed throng ;
A little while, and we shall sing
The everlasting song.
3
A little while, and we shall meet
The loved ones gone before ;
And we shall clasp their hands again
On yonder radiant shore.
4
A little while, and we shall hear
The Saviour's whisper, " Come ! "
And we shall ever dwell with Him
In our eternal home.
