⛈️OLAMA THE DAUGHTER OF THUNDER ⛈️

                 (EPISODE 5)

After Ngozie returned safely home, peace did not last.

Her belly grew bigger each day, and Obinna's love for her grew even stronger.

But inside the same house, Amaka’s hatred boiled like hot oil.

Every time she heard Ngozie singing or praying, or saw Obinna rubbing Ngozie’s feet with love, her heart twisted with jealousy.

"I will not watch her live to give birth," Amaka whispered to herself one night.

"Even if it is the last thing I do, I must destroy her."

---

One morning, Amaka left the house pretending to visit her cousin in the next village.

But instead, she went deep into the forest to meet an old wicked herbalist named Dike.

Dike’s hut smelled of blood and death.

When Amaka entered, he laughed.

"I have been expecting you," Dike said.

Without wasting time, Amaka explained what she wanted.

Dike gave her a small bottle of deadly poison, made from the venom of a black snake.

"Pour it into her food," he instructed, "and before the next sunrise, she and her cursed child will be dead."

Amaka hurried back home, heart racing with excitement.

That evening, she cooked a special pot of yam porridge and poured the poison carefully inside.

She set the food in front of Ngozie’s door, smiling sweetly.

But fate played a cruel trick on her.

Before Ngozie could come out to eat, Chidi, Amaka’s own firstborn son, came running back from play, hungry and tired.

He saw the steaming plate of food, sat down quickly, and ate without asking questions.

By the time Amaka came back to check, she found Chidi coughing and foaming at the mouth.

"Chidi!!!" she screamed, grabbing him in her arms.

The entire compound gathered at the sound of her cries.

Obinna rushed over and found Chidi lying lifeless in his mother's hands.

They tried everything — pouring water into his mouth, calling the herbalist — but it was too late.

Chidi was dead.

Amaka wept bitterly, tearing her hair and beating her chest.

But deep inside, she knew she had caused her son’s death with her own wickedness.

From that day, Amaka grew thin and mad with grief and guilt.

But her hatred for Ngozie only deepened.

---

Meanwhile, in the dark palace, King Obiekwe was not resting.

He had sent his soldiers throughout the villages to capture a pregnant woman for the sacrifice.

After days of searching, they found one:

Nnenna, a young poor woman who was seven months pregnant with her first child.

They dragged her from her hut at midnight, ignoring the cries of her husband and family.

They tied her in chains and carried her through secret paths to the forest shrine where Ojiego waited.

Inside the shrine, fires burned with green flames.

The air was thick with evil.

Ojiego’s eyes shone as he saw the frightened woman.

Without mercy, he carried out the dark sacrifice.

The woman screamed once — and then all was silent.

Blood flowed into a deep bowl.

Ojiego chanted terrible spells.

The ground shook lightly as he summoned a new, stronger demon to serve the king.

When it was done, Ojiego gave King Obiekwe his final instructions:

"You have seven nights. Before the seventh night, capture the woman Ngozie and bring her to me.

Only her blood can complete the spell to save your throne."

King Obiekwe nodded, his heart full of new wickedness.

He immediately sent out his best warriors — trained killers — with orders to find and kidnap Ngozie by any means necessary.

They were to wait until night, when Obinna would be asleep, and strike without warning.

Unknown to Obinna and Ngozie, the final battle for their unborn child had already begun.

Darkness was gathering, and their greatest trial was yet to come.
