  • Dear Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia
I am writing this to you personally with a heavy heart and grief for our home land.
I could have said I am happy they attacked the Sankera communities, but the innocent lives of people destroyed is very disheartening and I cannot say I am not touched by their deaths.
I need you to remember that you are a Reverend Father and many from all the zones in Benue State especially Zone C looked up to you for a renewed Benue State.
From your actions and post in this incessant killings and attacks in the Benue communities, you have made it clear that you don't care about the people of Benue Zone C and anything that happens there is not your business.
See, the earlier you realise that this attacks is a war declared on Benue State, the better for you.
As a ordained minister of God, we expected you to be different but, you're here given us the same old and evil attitude from the past governments.
Benue Zone C (Otukpo, Ado, Agatu, APA and Okpokwu) has been on fire because of this attacks and over 100 of lives were lost already, but you mentioned nothing about it or even took any Proactive measures to cub this situation.
You're only make this political post because they attacked your people in Sankera.
You're asking that people should report suspicious activities when they see one, but before the attacks in Sankera, people saw these militias and made posts online, with picture and video evidences, some even took precautionary measures by fleeing their homes to Makurdi and Gboko, but you were too busy to act and your media aids were all sleeping I guess.
    GOD IS WATCHING YOU.
My Dear People of Benue, it's high time we take action as one voice in unity to defend our land because, our Government have failed us and there is no help for the common man.
To my all my Tiv Brethren, this should be a sober reflection for us all.

  • Arsenal have now pocketed €117 million after overtaking UEFA Champions League in the Real Madrid quarter-finals!!

Among them, being present at the quarter-finals and semi-finals alone helped us to raise a total of €27.5 million.

If Arsenal win both semi-finals back and forth ahead of PSG we will collect at least €18.5m.

A not so small figure for Arsenal's financial situation before the upcoming TTCN summer 2025...!

Every time you realize your life is not producing the results desired, it's time to check yourself.

Enter your secret place and ask, Lord what is responsible for this?
Don't sit down and blame people or situations.

Something must be wrong that you need to find out.

Bad lucks everywhere in your life, Destiny helpers leave you, you had an accident, you arrived late and missed something good. something is wrong.

Go back and ask the Lord in your secret place what is wrong ?

    God corrects men using fire.

In God's economy, he never throws men away, he corrects them.

When you find out that your life is unfruitful, your prayer life has gone down, it is possible something bad was introduced to your life.

You ask, what is the use of serving God when all I see is bad things happening to me?

When God wants to help you, he puts you in a fire that prunes. When you are in the fire, there is no talking.

Everytime your life looks silent, there are times in your Christian experience that it was when you prayed for God to use you, He says he will do that but from that time God keeps silent.

    He is working on you.
He puts you in a fire and leaves you there for all that came along with you(wrong mindsets that come with your background, your weaknesses etc,) to get burnt.

He can't remove them from you using cold, He uses fire .

So you are asking God a question, Lord please what are you saying about my ministry?

Lord the people I got born again are moving forward and am here.

Lord you promised me that I will be a prophet to the nations yet am here, what is happening?

Lord you said you will use me to crush down the altars that come from my region.

Lord will you please speak to me?....And he is silent.

The only thing you know is that your prayer life is increasing strangely, you are getting unusual insight suddenly from the Bible, then you find out also that your Spiritual senses have been heightened...but you will never hear his voice about your situations..

YOU ARE IN THE FIRE !

And then all hell breaks loose.
It looks like everything around you is falling apart, I tell you the truth, don't mind what you are seeing and don't be carnaly minded.

The things that you see are temporal, what you call defeat is the exit of the viper from your life.

It was when the tree was put in fire that the viper came out in the day of Paul.
When God wants to help a person and the people, he will cause you to encounter that fire

  • Tosin Eniolorunda, the founder of Moniepoint, is a wealthy young man.

He will be 40 this year and should be unarguably one of the richest, brightest young minds of my generation.

According to unofficial estimates, his stake at Moniepoint is worth over $100 million.

But he was not always this wealthy; running and founding Monie Point changed his life.

Prior to 2017, before Moniepoint was founded, Tosin was just a tech entrepreneur who ran a software consulting company, and he was living at 1004 Estate in Lagos at that time.

What Tosin’s consulting company does is simple: provide a software solution that Nigerian banks use for their day-to-day operations.

But they were doing more than that.

    They also build bank apps.

Sterling Bank and Unity Bank apps were built by Tosin and his team at Team Apt, the name of the software company.

Until one day, Tosin got an email from Sterling Bank that the bank is pulling out and does no longer requires the services of Team Apt.

Tosin’s mind went blank; he was driving on Ikoyi Road when the message came in.

Sterling Bank was an important, valuable customer, and losing them was a fatal blow for his business cash flow and a monumental setback for his young, budding tech business.

How he was able to get to his destination after digesting that mail was a miracle.

From that setback, his team went back to the trenches to strategize and plan on how to stay afloat.

From that setback, that was how the Dream Monie point was born.

For Monie Point to become a reality and not suffer a stillbirth, one man so much believed in Tosin and in his dream to revolutionize the fintech industry, one customer at a time.

His name is Olu Oyinsa, and he runs Oui Capital, an early-stage African venture capital firm that invests in fintechs and early-stage tech companies.

He met Tosin and was like, Yo! This guy is different, and because of that conviction, he invested $150,000 in Moniepoint for a 1.2% stake in Moniepoint, and his investment was done in 2019.

His understanding of the banking technology stack and payment infrastructure was impressive. I knew he was up to something exciting,” Oyinsan recalled.

Without that conviction and strong belief in Tosin and Moniepoint by Olu Oyinsan, Moniepoint could have died.

Fast forward to 5 years later, after the $150,000 investment into Monie Point was made.

Monie Point has grown, has scaled, and is now a unicorn (a company worth $1 billion and above).

That $150,000 invested into Moniepont in 2019 is now worth more than $10 millon.

Last month, Olu and his team partially took out $8 million from their investment .

How much do you have as shares in this company?
How prepared are you for this opportunity?

Every good thing always starts like a joke, is only those with future that sees above the present situation.

I decree and declare that today and beyond, God will speak to every effort that has not yielded fruits for you, there shall be total release of miraculous net breaking harvest for you and all your family.

As you go out today you will not record any loss, your ways shall be free from all evil in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

  • Caesarean sections were performed in Africa long before they were standardized across the world. They were invented in Africa long before Europe, and the rest of the world fully mastered how to conduct them (Young, 1944). The procedure is said to have been started since time immemorial. When a baby could not be delivered vaginally, midwives and surgeons would turn to C-sections in order to deliver the baby safely and alive. In areas around Lake Tanganyika and Lake Victoria, midwives and surgeons would perform this procedure (Davies, 1959).

When a baby could not be delivered vaginally, the midwives and surgeons would sedate the mother in labour with a lot of banana wine. A knife would be sterilized using heat, while the mother would be tied to the bed for her safety. An incision would be made quickly by a team, and the quickness was to ensure that there would be no excessive loss of blood, and also that other organs would not be cut.

A combination of sterilized knives and sedation would make the experience less painful for the mother (Felkin, 1884). During these times, women rarely developed infections because antiseptic tinctures and salves were used to clean the area and stitches were applied. Shock and excessive blood loss were uncommon. Uganda, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were the countries where this was most practised. In Uganda, C-sections were normally performed by a team of male healers, but in Tanzania and the DRC, they were typically done by female midwives (Davies, 1959).

It was in the Ugandan kingdom of Bunyoro that this procedure was most documented. The procedure was performed so well that Robert W. Felkin, a Scottish medical anthropologist, documented all of this in the book The Development of Scientific Medicine in the African Kingdom of Bunyoro Kitara. He witnessed the procedure in 1879 and was captivated by it. What got his attention was that back in Europe, a C-section was considered to be an option only to be used in the most desperate situations. At this time, "nearly half of European and US women died in childbirth, and nearly 100% of European women died if a C-section was performed" (Felkin, 1884).
