Deadly US strikes hit Yemen fuel port used by Huthis
    https://jordantimes.com/news/region/deadly-us-strikes-hit-yemen-fuel-port-used-huthis

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->SANAA — The US military said it had destroyed a key Yemeni fuel port as it targets the country's Huthi rebels, who said Friday that 20 people had been killed in the strikes.

The attack on the Ras Issa fuel port aimed to cut off a source of supplies and funds for the Iran-backed Huthis, the US military said.

Washington has hammered the Huthis with near-daily air strikes since March 15 in a bid to end their attacks on civilian shipping and military vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The rebels began their attacks in late 2023, claiming solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. Israel's army said Friday they had intercepted an incoming missile from Yemen.

In a statement, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said: "US forces took action to eliminate this source of fuel for the Iran-backed Huthi terrorists and deprive them of illegal revenue that has funded Huthi efforts to terrorise the entire region for over 10 years.

"The objective of these strikes was to degrade the economic source of power of the Huthis, who continue to exploit and bring great pain upon their fellow countrymen".

Ships "have continued to supply fuel via the port of Ras Issa" despite Washington designating the rebels a foreign terrorist organisation earlier this year, the military command added, without specifying the source of the fuel.

Huthi health ministry spokesman Anees Alasbahi said the preliminary death toll stood at 20, including five paramedics.

There were also "50 wounded workers and employees at the Ras Issa oil port, following the American aggression", he said on X.

"The death toll is likely to rise as body parts are still being identified," he added.

    Fireball

The port lies along the west coast of Yemen on the Red Sea.

In images broadcast early Friday by the rebels' Al-Masira channel, which it presented as the "first images of the US aggression" against the port, a fireball lit up the area around the ships, while thick columns of smoke rose above what appeared to be an ongoing blaze.

"Civil defence rescue teams and paramedics are making every effort to search for and extract victims and extinguish the fire," said Alasbahi.

The Huthis have regularly fired missiles and drones on Israel since the war in Gaza broke out in October 2023 following an attack on Israel by Hamas militants.

"Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted," Israel's army said Friday on Telegram, adding that aerial defence systems had been deployed "to intercept the threat".

Huthi attacks have hampered shipping through the Suez Canal -- a vital route that normally carries about 12 percent of world shipping traffic -- forcing many companies into a costly detour around the tip of southern Africa.

The United States first began conducting strikes against the Huthis under president Joe Biden's administration, and his successor President Donald Trump has vowed that military action against the rebels would continue until they are no longer a threat to shipping.

On Thursday evening, France's Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu said a French frigate in the Red Sea destroyed a drone launched from Yemen.

"Our armed forces continue their commitment to ensuring maritime freedom of movement," he said on X.

US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce told journalists Thursday that the Chinese satellite firm Chang Guang Satellite Technology Company was "directly supporting Iran-backed Huthi terrorist attacks on US interests".

"Their actions -- and Beijing's support of the company, even after our private engagements with them -- is yet another example of China's empty claims to support peace," she said.

Bruce did not initially provide details on the nature of the company's support for the rebels, but later referred to "a Chinese company providing satellite imagery to the Huthis."

Hizbollah 'will not let anyone disarm' it, says chief
    https://jordantimes.com/news/region/hizbollah-will-not-let-anyone-disarm-it-says-chief

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->BEIRUT, Lebanon — Hizbollah "will not let anyone disarm" it, the Lebanese group's leader Naim Qassem said Friday, as Washington presses Beirut to compel the Iran-backed movement to hand over its weapons.

Hezbollah, long a dominant force in Lebanese politics, was left weakened by more than a year of hostilities with Israel sparked by the Gaza war, including an Israeli ground incursion and two months of heavy bombardment that decimated the group's leadership.

The fighting was largely brought to an end by a November ceasefire, but not before the group's longtime leader and Qassem's predecessor Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli air strike.

"We will not let anyone disarm Hezbollah or disarm the resistance" against Israel, Qassem said in remarks on a Hezbollah-affiliated TV channel.

"We must cut this idea of disarmament from the dictionary."

His comments came hours after another Hizbollah official said the group refused to discuss handing over its weapons unless Israel withdrew completely from south Lebanon and halted its "aggression".

"It is not a question of disarming," Wafic Safa said in an interview with Hizbollah’s Al-Nur radio station.

"What the president (Joseph Aoun) said in his inauguration speech is a defensive strategy."

Safa, believed by experts to belong to the movement's most radical faction, said Hezbollah had conveyed its position to Aoun, who on Tuesday said he sought "to make 2025 the year of restricting arms to the state".

In his interview, Safa asked: "Wouldn't it be logical for Israel to first withdraw, then release the prisoners, then cease its aggression... and then we discuss a defensive strategy?

"The defensive strategy is about thinking about how to protect Lebanon, not preparing for the party to hand over its weapons."

Analysts have said that the once unthinkable idea of Hezbollah disarming may no longer be so, and may even be inevitable.

    Problem is Israel'

Under the November ceasefire, Israel was meant to withdraw all of its forces from south Lebanon.

But despite the deal, its troops have remained at five south Lebanon positions that they deem "strategic".

Israel has also continued to carry out near-daily strikes against Lebanon -- including on Friday -- saying it is targeting members of Hezbollah.

Under the truce, Hizbollah was to pull its fighters back north of Lebanon's Litani River and dismantle any remaining military infrastructure in the south.

Lebanon's army has been deploying in the south as Israeli forces pulled back.

Hezbollah says the ceasefire does not apply to the rest of Lebanon, despite being based on UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which calls for the disarmament of non-state groups.

Hizbollah was the only group to keep its weapons after Lebanon's 15-year civil war ended in 1990, saying that they were for "resistance" against Israel, which continued to occupy the south until 2000.

US special envoy for the Middle East Morgan Ortagus, who visited Beirut this month, said Washington continued to press Beirut "to fully fulfil the cessation of hostilities, and that includes disarming Hizbollah and all militias".

Safa said on Friday that both Hezbollah and the Lebanese army were respecting the terms of the truce.

"The problem is Israel, which has not done so," he said.

On Saturday, a source close to Hezbollah told AFP that the group had ceded to the Lebanese army around 190 of its 265 military positions identified south of the Litani.

US to withdraw some 1,000 troops from Syria
    https://jordantimes.com/news/world/us-withdraw-some-1000-troops-syria

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->WASHINGTON — The United States will roughly halve the number of troops it has deployed in Syria to less than 1,000 in the coming months, the Pentagon said Friday.

Washington has had troops in Syria for years as part of international efforts against the Daesh terror group, which rose out of the chaos of the country's civil war to seize swaths of territory there and in neighboring Iraq over a decade ago.

The brutal extremists have since suffered major defeats in both countries, but still remain a threat.

"Today the secretary of defense directed the consolidation of US forces in Syria... to select locations," Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement, without specifying the sites where this would take place.

"This deliberate and conditions-based process will bring the US footprint in Syria down to less than 1,000 US forces in the coming months," he said.

President Donald Trump has long been skeptical of Washington's presence in Syria, ordering the withdrawal of troops during his first term but ultimately leaving American forces in the country.

As Islamist-led rebels pressed forward with a lightning offensive last December that ultimately overthrew Syrian president Bashar Al Assad, Trump said Washington should "NOT GET INVOLVED!"

"Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT," Trump, then the president-elect, wrote on his Truth Social platform.

    Years of war against Daesh

The 2014 onslaught by Daesh prompted a US-led air campaign in support of local ground forces -- the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Iraqi government units.

Washington also deployed thousands of American personnel to advise and assist local forces, with US troops in some cases directly fighting the jihadists.

After years of bloody warfare, Iraq's prime minister announced a final victory over IS in December 2017, while the SDF proclaimed the defeat of the group's "caliphate" in March 2019 after seizing its final bastion in Syria.

But the extremists still have some fighters in the countryside of both countries, and US forces have long carried out periodic strikes and raids to help prevent the group's resurgence.

Washington stepped up military action against Daesh in Syria in the wake of Assad's overthrow, though it has more recently shifted its focus to strikes targeting Yemen's Huthi rebels, who have been attacking international shipping since late 2023.

US forces in Iraq and Syria were repeatedly targeted by pro-Iran militants following the outbreak of the Gaza war in October 2023, but responded with heavy strikes on Tehran-linked targets, and the attacks largely subsided.

Washington for years said it had some 900 military personnel in Syria as part of international efforts against Daesh, but the Pentagon announced in December 2024 that the number of US troops in the country had doubled to around 2,000 earlier in the year.

While the United States is reducing its forces in Syria, Iraq has also sought an end to the US-led coalition's presence there, where Washington has said it has some 2,500 troops.

The United States and Iraq have announced that the coalition would end its decade-long military mission in federal Iraq by the end of 2025, and by September 2026 in the autonomous Kurdistan region.

in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted," Israel's army said Friday on Telegram, adding that aerial defence systems had been deployed "to intercept the threat". Bruce did not initially provide details on the nature of the company's support for the rebels, but later referred to "a Chinese company providing satellite imagery to the Huthis." <!-- google_ad_section_end -->Image:  Hizbollah 'will not anyone disarm" it, the Lebanese group's leader Naim Qassem said Friday, as Washington presses Beirut to compel the Iran-backed movement to hand over its weapons. "We must cut this idea of disarmament from the dictionary."   His comments came hours after another Hizbollah official said the group refused to discuss handing over its weapons unless Israel withdrew completely from south Lebanon and halted its "aggression".   "It is not a question of disarming," Wafic Safa said in an interview with Hizbollah’s Al-Nur radio station.   "What the president (Joseph Aoun) said in his inauguration speech is a defensive strategy."    Safa, believed by experts to belong to the movement's most radical faction, said Hezbollah had conveyed its position to Aoun, who on Tuesday said he sought "to make 2025 the year of restricting arms to the state".   In his interview, Safa asked: "Wouldn't it be logical for Israel to first withdraw, then release the prisoners, then cease its aggression... and then we discuss a defensive strategy?   "The defensive strategy is about thinking about how to protect Lebanon, not preparing for the party to hand over its weapons."   Analysts have said that the once unthinkable idea of Hezbollah disarming may no longer be so, and may even be inevitable.   Problem is Israel'    Under the November ceasefire, Israel was meant to withdraw all of its forces from south Lebanon. <!-- google_ad_section_end -->Image:  5yrs ago April 2020 What a strange world we live in Covid-19 ClownWorld Restrictions Lockdowns Masks US to withdraw some 1,000 troops from Syria https://jordantimes.com/news/world/us-withdraw-some-1000-troops-syria <!-- google_ad_section_start -->WASHINGTON — The United States will roughly halve the number of troops it has deployed in Syria to less than 1,000 in the coming months, the Pentagon said Friday. As Islamist-led rebels pressed forward with a lightning offensive last December that ultimately overthrew Syrian president Bashar Al Assad, Trump said Washington should "NOT GET INVOLVED!"   "Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT," Trump, then the president-elect, wrote on his Truth Social platform.   Years of war against Daesh   The 2014 onslaught by Daesh prompted a US-led air campaign in support of local ground forces -- the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Iraqi government units. <!-- google_ad_section_end -->Image:  A few minutes ago, the Russian Defense Ministry published unique footage of the destruction of another American multiple launch rocket system 'HIMARS'. Deadly US strikes hit Yemen fuel port used by Huthis
SANAA — The US military said it had destroyed a key Yemeni fuel port as it targets the country's Huthi rebels, who said Friday that 20 people had been killed in the strikes. The Trump administration has officially ended temporary deportation protections for thousands of Afghans and Cameroonians living in the US under Temporary Protected Status (TPS), a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson announced Friday.

Roughly 14,600 Afghans will lose TPS protections in May, while around 7,900 Cameroonians will face termination in June.

The TPS program shields migrants from deportation to war-torn countries or those facing natural disasters and grants them work authorization. However, the Trump administration has argued that the TPS has been misused to allow migrants to remain in the US indefinitely, making its rollback part of a wider crackdown on immigration.

According to Reuters, Special Envoy Steven Witkoff suggested that the quickest path to a Russia-Ukraine ceasefire would be for the United States to formally recognize Russia’s claim over four disputed regions: Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye.

The recommendation followed Witkoff’s trip to Saint Petersburg, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund. Talks reportedly focused on possible avenues for ending the war.

Sources say the envoy had also met privately with Dmitriev in Washington days earlier before presenting the proposal to Trump. General Keith Kellogg, Trump’s Special Envoy for Russia and Ukraine, was in attendance and opposed the idea, stating, “Kiev would never agree to simply give up its claim on the four regions.”

At least 5 children and 3 adults have died from cholera in #SouthSudan while trying to reach medical care amid recent #US foreign aid cuts. According to Save the Children, these lives were lost following the shutdown of essential healthcare services.

Many #Cholera deaths in South Sudan are going unreported. The true scale of the disaster is being hidden due to the lack of resources and access to accurate reporting mechanisms. The lack of data and oversight also makes it harder to mobilize the international community.

Those who died had to walk for hours under the scorching sun to reach the nearest health facility still in operation, many of which were overwhelmed and lacking in supplies. Their deaths highlight just how vital accessible healthcare is, especially during major health crises. The brunt of these aid cuts is being borne by the most vulnerable, people who simply cannot manage the dangerous journey to get the help they need.

Washington Chose St. Petersburg Over RamsteinThe political facade of the pro-Kiev coalition is crumbling as Western support wavers and Ukrainian forces face irreversible defeats on the battlefield. The latest Ramstein meeting, now co-chaired by Germany and Britain without the dominant U.S. presence, underscored the growing fatigue among Ukraine’s backers.Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin refused to attend in person, joining only via video link—a clear signal of Washington’s diminishing enthusiasm to pay for war in Europe. The desperate Ukrainian leader could not claim anything new except to demand more weapons, especially air defense systems, in particular, American Patriot systems. Germany’s pledge of IRIS-T systems, a handful of missiles, and outdated Leopard tanks only highlighted Europe’s inability to sustain meaningful military aid without Washington. The absence of substantial commitments from other participants confirmed what many already suspected: Ukraine’s arsenal is running dry, and its allies are losing interest.Meanwhile, behind-the-scenes diplomacy between Moscow and Washington has sent shockwaves through Kiev. Reports of Trump’s envoy, Steven Witkoff, coming to St. Petersburg to meet with President Putin have fueled panic. The lack of official denials from Russia and the vague statements about “diplomatic engagement” only deepen the assurance that Ukraine’s fate is being decided without its input. The recent U.S.-Russia consultations in Istanbul, which deliberately avoided any mention of Ukraine in their bland official readouts, further suggest a looming backroom deal. Ukrainian experts fear that Washington and Moscow are negotiating a ceasefire at Kiev’s expense, with Zelensky’s regime increasingly seen as an obstacle to peace rather than a partner. On the frontlines, the situation is even more dire. Russian forces have crushed Ukraine’s incursions into Kursk and Belgorod, with the remnants of ground down Ukrainian brigades now fleeing in disarray. The strategic Gornal Monastery turned into a stronghold where Ukrainian troops had dug in, is now being abandoned under relentless Russian fire. Drone footage confirms columns of retreating soldiers scrambling toward Sumy, only to face artillery barrages and executions by their own nationalist “barrier troops” for desertion. Meanwhile, the Russian army is already in control of at least four Ukrainian settlements in this direction. With Russian troops just 25 km away from Sumy, a full-scale offensive looms. Ukrainian generals admit that they lack the reserves to hold the line, as Moscow’s forces are establishing a buffer zone near its border. Unconfirmed reports of North Korean troops bolstering the Russian assaults have further demoralized Kiev’s exhausted army.As Washington and Moscow inch toward negotiations, Zelensky’s regime faces annihilation—both militarily, under Russia’s impending summer offensive, and politically, as the West abandons its failed proxy. The only question left is whether Kiev’s surrender will be negotiated over its head or dictated on the battlefield.https://southfront.press/washington-chose-st-petersburg-over-ramstein/

Speaking ahead of planned US-Iran nuclear negotiations in Oman, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that Trump's "ultimate goal and the ultimate objective is to ensure that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon."

While "the president believes in diplomacy, direct talks, talking directly in the same room in order to achieve that goal," Leavitt maintained that Trump has clearly communicated to Iran and his national security team that "all options are on the table and Iran has a choice to make."

Otherwise, "There will be all hell to pay," the White House Press Secretary stated.

A big bomb, FAB-1500 M-54, fell precisely and exploded powerfully on the concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Refractory Plant's building in Chasov Yar (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/chasovyar) causing a large cloud of impact in the air. Russian military channels released a short video on April 10, 2025, Russian Aerospace Forces supported by air reconnaissance, launched a powerful attack in the morning with aerial bomb, following reports in recent days about large NATO-Kiev reinforcements, sent only to defend several city blocks in ChasovYar, but the new buildup of troops and equipment was confirmed to be burned by Russia. Apparently, the Russian 1500 kg aerial bomb came early, even before the enemy group started their morning with a cup of coffee. The latest map on April 11 of the city center of Chasov Yar, shows a picture of what it really looks like, the Refractory Plant was previously unsecured and claimed to be controlled by Ukraine, but Russia is now bombing it and securing over the block.
Ukrainian media did not mention anything, that Zelensky in panic was using all his last efforts, to try to stop the Russian Armed Forces there. However, this time 26 Ukrainian soldiers, two pickup trucks, food, and ammunition, were reportedly completely destroyed by a single large bomb explosion, in the last days of Chasov Yar, similar to the last battles for Bakhmut, or Artemovsk. Kiev, can no longer speak up abaout a city, only holding positions in several high-rise buildings, because Russian forces control almost all of their group's logistical communications. Any Ukrainian reinforcements that come are immediately destroyed, and it seems, that there is nothing left to conquer for a long time for Chasov Yar!Mirrored - MILITARY TUBE TODAY

General Keith Kellogg, Trump’s Special Envoy for Russia and Ukraine, was in attendance and opposed the idea, stating, “Kiev would never agree to simply give up its claim on the four regions.” Al Mayadeen English (Twitter) At least 5 children and 3 adults have died from cholera in #SouthSudan while trying to reach medical care amid recent #US foreign aid cuts. Read more: en.mdn.tv/8P7E Washington Chose St. The only question left is whether Kiev’s surrender will be negotiated over its head or dictated on the battlefield.https://southfront.press/washington-chose-st-petersburg-over-ramstein/ Al Mayadeen English (Twitter) Speaking ahead of planned US-Iran nuclear negotiations in Oman, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that Trump's "ultimate goal and the ultimate objective is to ensure that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon." While "the president believes in diplomacy, direct talks, talking directly in the same room in order to achieve that goal," Leavitt maintained that Trump has clearly communicated to Iran and his national security team that "all options are on the table and Iran has a choice to make." Otherwise, "There will be all hell to pay," the White House Press Secretary stated. Any Ukrainian reinforcements that come are immediately destroyed, and it seems, that there is nothing left to conquer for a long time for Chasov Yar!Mirrored - MILITARY TUBE TODAY To survive what is coming, read/study: https://thewayhomeorfacethefire.net (https://thewayhomeorfacethefire.net/)https://christs.net/The Gibraltar Messenger : https://gibraltar-messenger.net (https://gibraltar-messenger.net/) These idiots still can't figure this out! According to the ministry, 37% of essential medicines and 59% of medical consumables are completely out of stock.

Operating rooms, ICUs, and emergency departments are struggling to provide life-saving care as they are functioning with depleted stocks of life-saving drugs and medical essentials.

Meanwhile, 80,000 diabetic patients and 110,000 individuals with high blood pressure do not have access to medications in primary health centers. Moreover, 54% of cancer and hematology drugs are completely out of stock.

Palestinian Ahmad Manasra released from Israeli prison after nine years
    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/4/10/palestinian-ahmad-manasra-released-from-israeli-prison-after-nine-years?traffic_source=rss

Ahmad Manasra, 23, has been released after completing nine-and-a-half-year sentence, lawyer says.

Israel continues to escalate against Hezbollah in Lebanon,
jeopardizing the ceasefire brokered by the United States last November. The ceasefire was supposed to end the confrontation that broke when
Hezbollah began launching attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces
(IDF) in support of Hamas in the Gaza Strip a day after the surprise
attack on Israel on October 7 of 2023. Israel, however, continued to
launch strikes against the group and kept troops in five posts in
southern Lebanon. The IDF escalated its operations against Hezbollah in recent weeks,
launching on March 28 its first strike against the Lebanese capital,
Beirut, since the ceasefire entered into effect. Israel said that the
strike was a response to two rockets that were launched from Lebanon at
the settlement of Kiryat Shmona earlier in the day, although Hezbollah
had denied responsibility. The strike hit a building used by Hezbollah’s drone unit in the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh, according to the IDF.Hezbollah refrained from responding, but this was not apparently enough to avoid further escalation by Israel. The IDF struck the southern suburbs of Beirut again on April 1, this
time killing Hassan Bdair, a senior commander of Hezbollah. Three other
people were killed in the strike.Bdair was allegedly a member of Hezbollah’s Unit 3900 and of the elite Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.Hezbollah again showed restraint, but to no avail. An Israeli strike
hit the coastal Lebanese city of Sidon early on April 4, killing Hassan
Farhat, the commander of Hamas forces in the western sector of Lebanon.
At least two other people were killed. The IDF said at the time that
Farhat advanced “numerous attacks” on Israeli civilians and troops.Israel escalated further on April 7, killing Muhammad Adnan Mansour,
the commander of a local Hezbollah rocket unit in a strike on the
southern Lebanese area of Taybeh. The next day, April 8, the IDF
launched a strike against an alleged air defense depot of Hezbollah
close to the northeastern Lebanese city of Baalbek. As a result of Israeli pressure, a senior Hezbollah official told
Reuters on April 8 that the group was ready to hold talks with the
Lebanese president about its weapons if the IDF withdraws from southern
Lebanon and stops its strikes. This was not, however, good enough for Israel, which on April 9
accused Hezbollah of rebuilding a weapons manufacturing site in Beirut.
The accusation is clearly meant to justify further escalation, including
the renewal of attacks on the Lebanese capital. All in all, the future of Hezbollah appears to be in limbo. With no
way to deter Israel, the group could reorganize its forces on a much
smaller scale, or even move away from the Iran-led Axis of Resistance.DEAR FRIENDS. Some desperate Ukrainian armored forces are moving from Sumy, but they are moving under the radar of Russian intelligence, and it is clear that Kiev’s tactics will soon be humiliated again!
According to the latest news from the front, Kiev suffered heavy losses of personnel and equipment from Demidovka and Popovka. Russian military channels released a video on April 8 showing infographic images captured by Russian intelligence of a failed Ukrainian assault troops on the forest area around Demidovka. More images show bodies of Ukrainian assault troops strewn about after failing to hold out, badly battered by Russian fire in the battle to retake Demidovka. Russian forces countered the advance with innovative tactics, particularly through the deployment of advanced UAV units, capable of carrying heavy weapons such as tank mines, as well as special weapons designed to hit enemy personnel and equipment. One of these successful attacks had a significant impact, with the “explosion” described as devastating. In addition to personnel, one of the few American M1A1 SA Abrams tank, the Ukraine only remaining extra armor, was thrown into the fray. Tank from the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were quickly disabled after penetrates Demidovka, now abandoned in Russian settlement, representing another armor not included in the video frame.
Behind the actions of the combat groups, there is hard work in the rear, in the field laboratories, where technological solutions are born that would be the envy of professional defense specialists. Special Forces "Anvar" showed their field laboratory in a video on April 9, about drone attacks on equipment and artillery strikes on Ukrainian infantry from the Demidovka and Popovka areas, when Ukraine tried to enter the Belgorod region last week. Today, almost every unit that has a UAV group is also a small design bureau. Around 150 officers in the Israeli Navy have signed a letter addressed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Security Minister Israel Katz, Knesset members, and military leadership, demanding an immediate halt to the war on #Gaza.

Published by Israeli media, the letter criticizes the government's failure to secure the release of 59 captives still held in Gaza, warning of "the dangers faced by soldiers, the harm inflicted on Israelis, and the unequal sharing of burdens." They further emphasized that "security decisions are being made based on illegitimate considerations."

Their message echoed a separate petition signed by 950 active and reserve fighter pilots refusing service, arguing the war on #Gaza "serves nothing but narrow personal and political interests" while draining the military.
