  • “𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿 Changed My Life And Gave Me 100Million Without Knowing It“ - 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗻𝘂𝗺𝘇

Tanzanian music Superstar Diamond Platnumz recently shared a heartwarming story about his collaboration with Flavour in 2015.

When Flavour visited Tanzania, Diamond saw an opportunity and reached out to him via text, proposing a collaboration. Flavour agreed immediately, and they met, recorded, and shot the music video within two days.

He said “In 2015 Flavour visited Tanzania, then he was already big. I learned he was in the country so I sent him a text asking if we could work, he saw my message immediately and agreed. we met, recorded the song and after 2 days, we shot the video.

Flavour went out of his way to make this happen and the shocking part was that he asked me nothing and same time I own all the rights to the song. That song has given me more than 100 million. It changed my life and gave me so many fans across Nigeria. Nigerians love to see others grow , my biggest collaborations are with them. Flavour didn’t even know giving me a verse was giving me 100 million “ Diamond Platnumz added.

Today, that song has 105 Million views on YouTube alone. Imagine the crazy numbers it would have on other streaming platforms.

“𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿 Changed My Life And Gave Me 100Million Without Knowing It“ - 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗻𝘂𝗺𝘇 🎵🔥🔥 Tanzanian music Superstar Diamond Platnumz recently shared a heartwarming story about his collaboration with Flavour in 2015. Just In a Twinkle of an eye, one song became a game-changer, generating over 100 million and funny enough, Flavour didn't realize the impact his contribution would have. • Join the Army, Make Ala Igbo Proud! — Igwe Iweka to Southeast Youths
The Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council and the traditional ruler of Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, has called on young people across the Southeast to take advantage of the ongoing Nigerian Army recruitment exercise.
Speaking during a sensitization event held at the Government House in Awka, organized by the Army Headquarters Recruitment Team, Igwe Iweka emphasized the importance of youth participation in national security institutions. He expressed concern that many Southeastern youths often ignore these opportunities, leading to underrepresentation in key national sectors.
He pointed out that this lack of participation contributes to the marginalization of the Igbo people, as recruitment slots meant for the region are frequently left vacant and filled by others.
Igwe Iweka encouraged the youth not to be discouraged by fear or past experiences of marginalization, urging them instead to rise, get involved, and take their rightful place in shaping the future of Nigeria.

  • NSCDC Arrests 25-Year-Old Suspect for Vandalizing Public Utilities

The Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a 25-year-old suspected scavenger for allegedly vandalizing public infrastructure in Onitsha.

State Commandant Olatunde Maku confirmed the arrest on Thursday in Awka, stating that the suspect was apprehended on Tuesday at Silas Street, Fegge, in collaboration with the AVG security network in Onitsha South Local Government Area.

According to Maku, the suspect was caught demolishing parts of a drainage system to extract iron rods for resale as scrap.

He added, “On March 4, a 25-year-old man from Misau town in Bauchi State was caught destroying a drainage wall and removing iron rods with the intent to sell them as scrap. The suspect has confessed to the crime, admitting to vandalizing multiple metal objects and selling them in separate transactions to a scrap dealer.”

Maku further stated that the NSCDC’s investigation unit is still gathering evidence, and the suspect will be charged in court once investigations are complete.

The commandant also issued a stern warning to iron scavengers, commonly known as Ndi Akpakara, urging them to desist from vandalizing public and private property or face legal consequences.

    Igbo History
During the colonial era, several Ig!bo commu!nities had their names changed by the British due to diffic!ulties in pronou?ncing the original names. Below are some of these communities and their orig!inal names:

Owerri – Original Name: Owe Ere
    Orlu – Original Name: Ọlụ
Awkuzu – Original Name: Ọkụ Ụzọ Achagbunam
Okigwe – Original Name: Oka Igwe
Enugu – Original Name: Enu Ugwu (meaning “mountain town”)
Okpala – Original Name: Ọkpụ Ala Ngwa

Port Harcourt – Original Name: Igwe Ọcha
Opobo – Original Name: Igwe Nga
    Bonny – Original Name: Uban
Oyigbo – Original Name: Obi Igb
    Abakaliki – Original Name: Abakeleke
Mbaise – Original Names: Agbaaja, Ahiara, Ekwerazu, Oke Ovoro, Ezinihite
Initially, these were five inde!pendent villages, but the Bri!tish combined them into one comm!unity, “Mbaise,” despite their di!stinct cultural iden!tities.

    Asaba – Original Name: Ahaba
    Onitsha – Original Name: Onicha
Ibusa – Original Name: Igbo Ụzọ
Ogwashi – Original Name: Ọgwa Ahi

This comm!unity traces its orig!ins to the anci!ent Nri Kingdom.

    Awka – Original Name: Oka
    Awkunanaw – Original Name: Okunnano
    Amawbia – Original Name: Amaobia
Umuahia – Original Name: Ọma Ahịa

These name changes reflect the impact of British coloniz!ation on Igbo communities, as the coloni!zers often altered indigenous names to fit their own lingui!stic prefer!ences, erasing elements of the local heritage in the process. Igbo history

  • Nigerian Medical Doctor k!lls EFCC officers in Anambra … said that he thought they were kidnappers ;

It was a Medical Doctor that k!lled an EFCC officer when they came like armed robbers in the middle of the night at a time the state was faced with insecurity and the man reacted in safe defence probably thinking they were robbers.

The man involved is a medical doctor with no ties to illegal activities. The pump-action gun he used was reportedly licensed. Normally, before the EFCC operates in any area, they are required to notify the local police. Unfortunately, this protocol was not followed during their operation in Awka that night.

When the doctor called to confirm whether the relevant security agencies were aware of the EFCC’s presence, he was informed that they were not. Believing he was confronted by kidnappers and acting out of self-defense, he fired when they broke into his apartment at midnight. Regrettably, two EFCC operatives were injured in the process. Upon realizing they were from the EFCC, he immediately dropped the weapon.

Meanwhile, the EFCC’s actions in Anambra have raised concerns. Initially, they attempted a raid in a particular area but were intercepted by the police, who were unaware of their operation. According to the EFCC, due to a shortage of personnel, they altered their plans and proceeded to raid a smaller location. They forcibly entered the estate and targeted apartments based on the types of cars parked outside, using them as indicators for which units to search. This raises the question: how did operatives from the EFCC’s Enugu zonal office go to Anambra amid ongoing insecurity in the state without informing the local police, especially while facing a shortage of manpower?

It is so unfortunate that we lost a staff of the commission, but this call for new strategy. I don’t buy into EFCC entering an apartment like criminals.

The went to media with story of Yahoo boys shooting EFCC operatives because they can’t defend mode of their operation in Awka that night.
EFCC should conduct investigation before invitation or even arrest.
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission should change their strategies to reflect intelligence!
