  • SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE BY DR PST PAUL ENENCHE

    DATE: SUNDAY, 20TH JULY 2025.

TOPIC: THE TRAGEDY OF THE ABUSE OF GRACE

SCRIPTURE: For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despise Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: HEBREWS 10:26-28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The abuse of grace leads to eternal damnation.
The present wave of satanic doctrines and teachings reveal that there are people who live anyhow they want in the name of grace. Some preachers teach that once you are saved, you are permanently and eternally saved even if you continue to live consciously and actively in sin. That is a lie from the pit of hell; that is an abuse of grace.

The essence of grace is to make us wax strong in the spirit (Luke 2:40). Grace makes people to be Christ-like in every aspect. It teaches people to deny ungodliness and worldly lust, thereby empowering them to live soberly in righteousness and godliness in this present world (Titus 2:11-12). Grace causes people to abound unto good work (2Corinthians 9:8). So, grace imparts the power to live right, not a license to live wrong.

Jude 1:4-5 (NLT) says,…some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. So I want to remind you, though you already know these things, that Jesus first rescued the nation of Israel from Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not remain faithful.

So, there is nothing like if you are saved today, you remain saved permanently forever.

Verse 6 and 7 of Jude says, And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them securely chained in prisons of darkness, waiting for the great day of judgment. And don’t forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God’s judgment.

Beloved, the truth is, the abuse of grace leads to eternal damnation. To claim that grace is a license to live anyhow is to find oneself in eternal hell where there is no way out. Everyone can go to church but not everyone can go to heaven. So, refuse to be caught up in the web of satanic teachings that have come to usher many people to hell.

You will not be a victim in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: The abuse of grace leads to eternal damnation.

    ASSIGNMENT(S):
    1. Refuse to live in sin; and if you have a weakness, make demands on God’s grace to overcome it so you can live in righteousness.
    2. Be sincere to God; if you make a mistake, sincerely ask for mercy and never go back to it.
    3. Pray, study the Bible, and create an atmosphere of God’s presence around you always.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to walk in righteousness. Draw me close to You and connect me with Your purity, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

    THEME: BE KIND ALWAYS

MEMORISE: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32

    READ: Josh 2:1-24

1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

2 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.

3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

5 And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.

6 But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.

7 And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.

    8 And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;

9 And she said unto the men, I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:

13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.

14 And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the Lord hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

15 Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.

16 And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.

17 And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.

18 Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.

19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.

20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

21 And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.

22 And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not.

23 So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them:

24 And they said unto Joshua, Truly the Lord hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.

    MESSAGE
Some people speak to strangers rudely, especially those who seem to be of a lower social status than them. Some other people answer phone calls from phone numbers that are not on their contact list as if the fellow on the line is being a nuisance. They don't wait to know who is on the line; they just pick up and ask harshly, "Who's this?!" Hebrews 13:2 says that you should be kind to all men because you don't know when you will meet an angel. Do you know that God can send your helper to you through a phone call?

I shared a story in this devotional two days ago about how I was in need of £50 during a trip to the UK several years ago. I asked God for £50, and some minutes later, my phone rang. The fellow at the other end said, "Biyi?" I replied, “There’s no Biyi here." He asked, "Is that so and so number?" I said, "Yes, but there's no Biyi here." So, he said, “I’m sorry." I replied, "That's okay, God bless you." Then he said, "What do you mean God bless me? How do you know God?" I replied, "He’s, my savior." Then he asked, "Who am I talking to?" I told him my name, and that was how God used him to answer my request for £50. Imagine if l had spoken harshly to him because I didn't know him and we were only speaking because he had dialed the wrong number, I would have missed God's blessing.

In today's Bible reading, Rahab the harlot showed kindness to the spies. She took a big risk by keeping them in her house. Her kindness later saved her family when the walls of Jericho crumbled (Joshua 6:22-25). It also positioned her as one of the great-great-grandmothers of Jesus (Matthew 1:5) and ensured she was included in the hall of faith (Hebrews 11:31). Proverbs 31:26 tells us about the virtuous woman who opens her mouth with wisdom and has the law of kindness in her tongue. Be kind with your words and in your actions towards others. Let your words make people hopeful, not depressed and dejected. You will reap whatever seed you sow.

Beloved, God could decide to answer your prayer through a ‘wrong number’ call or a random conversation with a complete stranger. This is why you should always be kind and courteous. I pray you won’t miss God’s blessings for you, in Jesus’ name.

    KEY POINT

Be kind and courteous at all times.

HYMN 24: I WANT TO BE LIKE JESUS*

    1. I want to be like Jesus,
    So lowly and so meek;
For no one marked an angry word,
    That ever heard Him speak.

    2. I want to be like Jesus,
    So frequently in prayer;
    Alone upon the mountain top,
    He met his Father there.

    3. I want to be like Jesus,
    I never, never find
    That He, though persecuted was
    To any one unkind.

    4. I want to be like Jesus,
    Engaged in doing good;
So that of me it may be said
"He hath done what he could."

    5. I want to be like Jesus,
    Who sweetly said to all,
"Let little children come to Me;"
    I would obey the call.

    6. But oh I'm not like Jesus,
    As any one may see;
O gentle Saviour, send Thy grace,
And make me like to Thee.
OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL THEME: BE KIND ALWAYS MEMORISE: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32 READ: Josh 2:1-24 1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. 4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were: 5 And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them. 6 But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof. 7 And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate. 8 And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof; 9 And she said unto the men, I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. 12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token: 13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death. 23 So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them: 24 And they said unto Joshua, Truly the Lord hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us. MESSAGE Some people speak to strangers rudely, especially those who seem to be of a lower social status than them. KEY POINT Be kind and courteous at all times. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Isaiah 15-19 AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A ADEBOYE HYMN 24: I WANT TO BE LIKE JESUS* 1. I want to be like Jesus, So lowly and so meek; For no one marked an angry word, That ever heard Him speak. 2. I want to be like Jesus, So frequently in prayer; Alone upon the mountain top, He met his Father there. 3. I want to be like Jesus, I never, never find That He, though persecuted was To any one unkind. 4. I want to be like Jesus, Engaged in doing good; So that of me it may be said "He hath done what he could." 5. I want to be like Jesus, Who sweetly said to all, "Let little children come to Me;" I would obey the call. 6. But oh I'm not like Jesus, As any one may see; O gentle Saviour, send Thy grace, And make me like to Thee.

  • HOW LONG SHOULD A COURTSHIP LAST?

One of the top questions I receive from singles preparing for marriage is this:

👉🏽 “How long should a courtship last?”

Let’s talk about it—honestly, practically, and spiritually.

    FIRST: What is Courtship?

Courtship is not casual dating or emotional experimenting.
It begins when a mature single man, after prayer and divine conviction, proposes marriage to a woman—not for fun or trial—but with the clear intention to marry.

Likewise, the lady must also have her own personal conviction before accepting his proposal. Courtship is not built on pressure, fantasy, or romance alone—it must be rooted in spiritual clarity and maturity.

SEVEN AREAS TO PREPARE BEFORE YOU START COURTSHIP

Before you even say “yes” or “let’s start a relationship,” you must be prepared.

❗️Here are 7 non-negotiable areas of personal readiness:

    1. Spiritual Preparation
Give your life to Christ. If Jesus is not at the center of your life, He cannot be the foundation of your marriage. Without Christ, the storm will sweep your home away.

    2. Physical Preparation
Marriage is not for teenagers or people still hiding under their parents’ roof. Be ready to leave and cleave—physically and emotionally. You need your own space.

    3. Financial Preparation
Don’t enter courtship jobless or financially irresponsible. Learn how to make, manage, and multiply money. Love without money quickly turns sour.

    4. Emotional Preparation
Heal from past wounds. Stop carrying baggage into your future. If you’re easily jealous, insecure, moody, or manipulative, work on yourself first.

    5. Mental Preparation
Educate your mind for marriage. Read books, attend seminars, and gain godly knowledge about family life. Ignorance will c0st you.

    6. Social Preparation
Can you relate well with people? Do you know how to communicate, resolve conflicts, and build community? You will need all of these in marriage.

    7. Moral Preparation
Live a life of integrity and $exual purity. Self-control before marriage prepares you for faithfulness within it.

A WARNING TO SINGLES: COURTSHIP IS NOT A SECRET AFFAIR

    If your partner says:
    “Don’t tell your pastor.”
    “Keep this from your parents.”
“Let’s hide our relationship for now…”

That is a red flag. Run.

Healthy courtships are accountable, not hidden. Your pastor or mentor should be aware, and both sets of parents should bless your journey. Secrecy invites danger. Courtship is not a game. It’s a sacred preparation.

SO, HOW LONG SHOULD A COURTSHIP LAST?

    Minimum: 6 Months
    Maximum: 2 Years
(Exceptions: financial delay, parental objection, or health challenges.)

    Here’s why:

Less than 6 months is too short to truly know someone. It’s risky.

More than 2 years can breed temptation, compromise, boredom, or unnecessary emotional strain.

Courtship should not be rushed, but it also should not be dragged endlessly.

    What Should Happen During Courtship?

❗️Deep and honest conversations about life, vision, and expectations.

❗️Pre-marital counseling with a trusted mentor or pastor.

❗️Family visits and open discussions about background, values, and boundaries.

❗️Prayer, fasting, and studying God’s Word together.

❗️Agreement on issues like finances, $ex, children, ministry, and more.

Courtship is not a time to cuddle and go on endless dates.

It is a time to discern, discover, discuss, and decide.

    Final Thoughts for Singles:

Don’t chase a fast wedding; pursue a solid foundation.

A one-month courtship can c0st you a lifetime of regret.

A 10-year relationship doesn’t guarantee success either. It’s not just about time—it’s about truth, trust, and preparation.

Spend more time praying, learning, and growing—before and during courtship.

Marriage is not for the unprepared.
    Courtship is for the mature.

🙏🏽 May God grant you wisdom, clarity, and success in your marital journey

As we wrap up this 3-day consecration, the equation is about to shift in your favour.

Whatever refused to move in the first two days will be dealt with tonight — and your rest will be established.

  • *WEDNESDAY MORNING DEVOTION*

*WHAT GOD PROMISED IS STILL ON SCHEDULE*

    *Habakkuk 2:3*
_"For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, because it will certainly come; it will not delay."_

You have not missed your moment.
    You are not too late.
And more importantly, *God is never late.* He is not panicked. He is not trying to catch up.
He is the *Master of all seasons* and the *Author of perfect timing*.

The breakthrough you’ve been praying for is not denied—it is being *divinely prepared*.
The vision God gave you—whether spoken in a whisper during prayer, written in your journal, or burned deep into your spirit—it is still alive, still appointed, and *still on its way*.

Heaven does not work with earthly deadlines—it works on *destined timing*.

*Wait, not in frustration, but in faith.*
    Wait, not doubting, but *expecting*.
Because what God promised *will not disappoint*—it will arrive *right on time*.

Even if it tarries, wait for it…
Because God’s timing is never random—it’s always redemptive.

    Keep praying!
    Keep believing!
    Keep walking!

The vision is still scheduled for delivery

*Good morning lovely family, stay blessed!🙏🏽*

  • SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE

    BY DR PST PAUL ENENCHE

    DATE: FRIDAY, 18TH JULY 2025.

    TOPIC: THE VOICE OF FAITH

SCRIPTURE: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire. (Hebrews 11:32-34)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith makes a person speak with the voice of authority.

In a world where there are many activities of the forces of darkness, having a compelling voice of spiritual authority is crucial. There are people speaking but no one hears, no devil is moved by the sound of their voices, and no witch is shaken. But there are spiritual giants making exploits for God, speaking and the kingdom of darkness is devastated at the frequency of their unshakable faith in God.

Behind everything that is working, there are secrets powering it. And today, we shall look at one of the secrets that shift men into the realm of spiritual authority and make them voices in their generation. It is called The Force of Faith.

Beloved, if you want to speak and be heard by the powers of darkness, by nature or creation, it is faith that gives you the voice. There are people whose eyes alone cast out devils at the frequency of their solid faith in God and in His Word.

It is faith that gives you the voice to speak and be heard in the realm of the spirit. Faith makes a person speak with the voice of authority. To make brutal declarations in Nigeria and something happens in India, South America, etc., is a product of the voice of faith. Faith makes you a voice in your generation.

So, beloved, if you are not happy with the present strength level of your voice, you need to intensify the strength of your faith. If you are interested in possessing stronger faith than what you have, here is my counsel:

Accept the responsibility of building your faith (Hebrews 10: 38). The just shall live by faith, so if you are interested in life, you must be interested in faith. The absence of faith will make people die before their time.

Bishop David Oyedepo said, “Faith is not cheap talk; it is hard work.” Yes! It is those who are ready to work on their faith that escape the worst of life. And what is the work of faith? It is labouring in the Word of God.

Search the Scripture and find out what God says about the area you want to grow your faith, and study it. As you do so, your eyes begin to open, light starts coming, revelation starts unfolding and as revelation unfolds, conviction gets stronger, and as conviction gets stronger, your actions become more audacious.

You begin to take giant steps; you begin to do things that you feared before. This confirms that your faith is growing, and greater results will begin to show. And as results begin to come, you are encouraged to take more audacious steps.

Beloved never be too busy for the Word of God because the Word of God is the builder of faith.

REMEMBER THIS: Faith makes a person speak with the voice of authority.

    ASSIGNMENT(S):
    1. Feed on God’s Word consistently; believe whatever He says and act in obedience to His Word.

    2. Always refuse to keep quiet when your destiny, the destiny of your family, state or nation is being decided.

    3. Refuse to be afraid of defending the cause of God on the earth.

PRAYER: Lord, I believe in Your power over the kingdom of darkness. In the Name of Jesus, I declare that there is no place for darkness in my life, destiny, family, the church and in our nation, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE MYSTERY OF FAITH.

    DAILY BIBLE READING: Isaiah 10-12

QUOTE: The reason our generation has not taken us seriously is that our proof is not full. When your proof is not full, Satan is not threatened by your Ministry. Culled from the book, Making Full Proof of Ministry by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: In 1961, a Russian doctor had to remove his own appendix after it burst because he was the only doctor stationed in a remote soviet research station in Antarctica and he survived.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Lord enable you to move in such audacity of faith as to collapse all challenges before in Jesus Name.

  • #GOD’S WORD IS HAMMER AND FIRE!

God’s Word is an inexhaustible reservoir of divine power, flowing with life, truth, and purpose for every generation and every circumstance. It is not merely ink on paper but the very breath of God; living and active. Scripture teaches, and trains us in righteousness, cutting through deception and aligning our hearts with God’s will. Its power lies in its unchanging truth, for every word is inspired by the Holy Spirit, equipping us to live fully for Jesus Christ. To experience the fullness of God’s power in our lives and service, we must feast daily on His Word, for no other nourishment strengthens the soul like the eternal truths of God’s word.
Just as physical food sustains the body, God’s Word is the essential sustenance for spiritual vitality and strength. Without it, our faith grows weak, and our discernment falters. But when we meditate on God’s word, allowing it to dwell richly within us, it transforms our minds, convicts our hearts, and empowers us to walk in obedience. The Bible is not just a book of wisdom; it is the very voice of God, reproving, guiding, and equipping us for every good work. If we desire power in prayer, clarity in calling, and victory in spiritual warfare, we must hunger for God’s Word above all else, for it is the foundation of an unshakable life in Him.

Jeremiah 23:29 – Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? (KJV)

#GOD’S WORD IS HAMMER AND FIRE!🔥 God’s Word is an inexhaustible reservoir of divine power, flowing with life, truth, and purpose for every generation and every circumstance. The Father’s love for you is not premised on your performance because He loved you even when you weren’t deserving of His love. Apostle Paul writing to the church in Ephesus reveals how God demonstrated His love for us even when we walked in disobedience, fulfilling the lust of the flesh and were by nature the children of wrath. When you deserved God’s worst, He gave us His best! Ephesians 2:4-5 then says, _*“But God, who is RICH IN MERCY, because of HIS GREAT LOVE with which HE LOVED US, EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).”*_ God loved you even when you were ‘dead in trespasses.
