• FATHER'S LAST PRAYER

The old man's frail hands clasped together, his eyes closed in reverence. With a weak but determined voice, he whispered:

"Dear God, protect my family... guide them when I'm gone... forgive my mistakes... give them strength... and bring us together again in eternity."

Tears streamed down his children's faces as they held his hands, cherishing every moment. The father's voice faded, but his love remained, a lasting legacy.

As his final breath escaped, his family felt his peace, knowing he'd be watching over them forever.

    THEME: IMPACTING YOUR GENERATION

    MEMORISE
    Acts 13:36
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

    READ
    Jeremiah 1:5-10
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*Living for purpose is living for generational impact*

    MESSAGE
God our Father, depends on how spiritually sound we are to determine our level of usefulness to Him in the kingdom.

Until a man is spiritually healthy and strong, he cannot be used by God to do much in life. However, when a person's spiritual life is fully restored and put in order, he or she becomes an instrument of power in the hands of God to destroy the works of darkness holding mankind in captivity thereby delivering them into unimaginable breakthroughs in life and in destiny. God influences other lives using restored vessels of honor in His hands.

David, the Bible figure in our memory verse for today, served his generation before he took his rest in Paradise.

According to today's text, God told Jeremiah the Prophet that he ordained him to serve a generation of people. He was meant to positively impact his generation with the purpose and power of God as to redirect them to God.

Beloved, living for purpose is living for generational impact and for heaven's gain. Please note that the life we live for self does not have any value both in time and in eternity.

Nobody really cares about what you do for yourself. But the life you live for others cannot be forgotten. That is the life that adds value both to yourself and to others. And like the old saying goes: "We will be remembered for what we have done" especially for others.

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Find out the peculiar life, you were designed by God to live. It is a keynote to discovering the area of impact you were ordained by God to make in your generation.
    2. Rediscover your destiny through purpose and self discovery and apply yourself to profitable living on earth.
    3. Run from everything that could make you a disappointment to your generation.

    PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. Oh God of restoration, open my eyes to see the path leading to the place of my relevance in my life and destiny in Jesus' name. Amen.

    HYMN
Blessed assurance — Jesus is mine !
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine !
    Heir of salvation, purchase of God ;
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

This is my story, this is my song,
    Praising my Saviour all the day long ;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Saviour all the day long.

    2
    Perfect submission, perfect delight,
    Visions of rapture burst on my sight ;
    Angels descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

    3
Perfect submission, all is at rest,
    I in my Saviour am happy and blest ;
    Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

  • FIFTY MILLION NIGHTS
    PART 3
Time crawled in the gilded cage. The untouched tray of jollof rice sat cold and congealing on the floor near the hidden compartment. The clean white dress remained folded, pristine. Olivia hadn’t moved the sleek black chair. She stood. Or paced. Or sat cross-legged on the freezing stone floor, her back against the unyielding metal door, staring at the impossible view.
She ignored the gnawing hunger. Ignored the scratchy discomfort of her nightdress. Ignored the bone-deep cold. She focused on the city lights, tracing patterns, imagining lives down there – people laughing, arguing, rushing home, completely unaware of the woman trapped fifty floors up.
No one cares. Malik’s words echoed, but they sparked anger now, not despair. He cared. He cared enough to lock her here. Enough to want her broken.
He’d told her to change. To eat. To be a good, quiet asset. By doing nothing, by leaving his offerings untouched, she’d thrown his control back in his face. A silent, stubborn rebellion. Let him see how a distressed asset really looks.
How long would it take him to notice? An hour? Two? The sterile silence pressed in, broken only by the muffled city hum and the frantic drumming of her own heart. Every tiny sound – the faint whir of hidden air conditioning, a distant elevator chime – made her jump. Waiting was its own torture.
Then, it came. The soft, dreaded click of the main suite door. Footsteps. Malik’s footsteps. Measured. Purposeful. Coming straight towards her prison.
Olivia scrambled to her feet, pressing her back against the cold metal again. Her mouth went dry. This was it. The cost of defiance. She braced herself, fists clenched at her sides, chin lifted. Don’t let him see you break.
The electronic beep sounded. The door slid open.
Malik Adebayo stood framed in the doorway. He hadn’t bothered with a jacket again. His white shirt was still crisp, but his tie was loosened. He held a thin tablet in one hand. His dark eyes scanned the room instantly, missing nothing. They flicked past her defiant stance, past the untouched chair, and landed unerringly on the cold tray of food and the pristine, folded dress still sitting in the open compartment.
A beat of utter silence. The air crackled.
Olivia watched his face. That perfect mask of cold control. His jaw tightened, just a fraction. A tiny muscle flickered near the pale scar tracing his cheekbone. His eyes, when they finally lifted to meet hers, were like polished obsidian – hard, dark, and terrifyingly focused. The pleasant, dangerous curiosity from before was gone. Replaced by something colder. Sharper.
He stepped into the room. The door slid shut behind him with its soft, final hiss and click. He didn’t speak. He walked slowly, deliberately, towards the compartment. His polished shoes clicked softly on the stone floor, each step echoing Olivia’s pounding heartbeat.
He stopped beside the tray. Looked down at the uneaten food. Then his gaze shifted to the dress. Unmoved. Untouched. He didn’t pick them up. He didn’t yell.
He just stood there. The silence grew heavier, thicker, more suffocating than the sack had been. Olivia could feel the heat of his anger radiating off him, a physical pressure in the cool room. It wasn’t loud. It was deep, simmering, and infinitely more frightening than shouting.
Slowly, deliberately, he raised his gaze back to hers. "You disobeyed." His voice was low, flat, devoid of any inflection. It wasn’t a question. It was a statement of fact, cold and hard.
Olivia forced herself to hold that dark gaze. "I’m not a dog to obey commands," she said, her voice surprisingly steady, though her knees felt like water. "I told you. I’m not your asset."
A flicker of something dangerous sparked in his eyes. He took a step closer. Then another. He invaded her space, stopping barely a foot away. Olivia had to crane her neck to look up at him. The scent of sandalwood and clean, sharp ice filled her senses, mixed with the subtle, expensive smell of his clothes. It was overwhelming. Intimidating.
"Is that so?" he murmured, his voice dropping to a near whisper that vibrated through her. He lifted his free hand, not towards her face, but towards the fabric of her nightdress. His fingers hovered near the worn cotton sleeve, close enough for her to feel the heat radiating from his skin. Olivia froze, breath catching. Was he going to touch her? Force her?
He didn’t. His hand stopped. He let it hang there, a silent, menacing threat. "This," he said, his eyes tracing the thin, slightly torn fabric, the dust on her bare arms, "is defiance? Looking like… this?" His gaze swept down her disheveled state with deliberate, insulting slowness. "Like something dragged from the gutter?"
Shame warred with fury. Olivia felt her cheeks burn. "It’s the truth of what you’ve done," she shot back, her voice trembling now. "You dragged me from my home! This is your asset!"
His dark eyes snapped back to hers, locking on with an intensity that stole her breath. "An asset," he said, his voice dangerously soft, "has value. Cleanliness. Order. Respect for the hand that holds it." He tilted his head, his gaze boring into her. "You look like a broken thing, Olivia Okoro. Worthless. Defiant, perhaps, but broken nonetheless." He leaned in, just slightly. "Broken things," he whispered, the words chilling, "get discarded."
The threat hung in the air, colder than anything before. Olivia felt a fresh wave of terror, icy and paralyzing. Discarded. What did that mean? The cold river? A dark cell? Something worse?
She opened her mouth, but no sound came out. Her defiance wavered, threatened to crumble under the sheer, terrifying weight of his presence and his words.
Then, something shifted. As he looked down at her, his gaze sharp, assessing, it snagged on her face. Not on her defiant eyes, but lower. On her lips. They were dry, slightly chapped from crying, pressed together in a tight line of fear and anger.
Malik Adebayo went utterly still. Not the controlled stillness from before. This was different. Frozen. His intense gaze fixed on her mouth. For a heartbeat, two, the terrifying anger in his eyes flickered. Something else flashed there – raw, unexpected, and gone in an instant. Surprise? Confusion? Something… darker? Hotter? His own lips parted slightly, just a fraction.
Olivia saw it. That crack in the ice. That brief, unguarded moment. It shocked her more than his anger. What was that?
The moment shattered. Malik blinked, and the cold mask slammed back down, harder than before. He straightened abruptly, putting a fraction more space between them, as if burned. The intensity in his eyes was now pure, controlled fury.
"Forty-five hours," he stated, his voice clipped, harsh. He turned away from her, his back rigid. He walked towards the door without another glance. "Enjoy the view. And the silence. You’ll find little comfort in either."
He reached the door. The electronic lock disengaged with its familiar *beep*. The door slid open. He stepped through.
Olivia stood rooted to the spot, heart hammering against her ribs, the echo of his threat – "Broken things get discarded" – warring with the shocking memory of his frozen stare… fixed on her lips.
The door began to slide shut.
    Then, abruptly, it stopped.
Malik stood just outside, his back still to her. He didn’t turn. His broad shoulders were tense under the crisp white shirt. He seemed… paused. Hesitant? Angry? Something else?
Olivia held her breath. The silence stretched, thick and charged. What was he doing? What was he thinking?
After a heartbeat that felt like an eternity, Malik’s hand shot out. Not towards her. He slammed his palm hard against the wall outside her room. A sharp, echoing crack of sound. A sound of pure, frustrated fury.
Then, without a word, without turning, he strode away. His footsteps, usually so controlled, echoed down the corridor outside – sharp, hard, and fast. Angry.
The metal door slid shut completely with its soft *hiss* and final click.
Olivia sank slowly to the cold floor, trembling uncontrollably. The untouched food. The clean dress. His terrifying threat. His strange, frozen moment. That slam of his hand against the wall.
He hadn’t hurt her. Not physically. But he’d shown her a glimpse of something… volatile. Uncontrolled. And that moment looking at her lips… what was that?
He was angry. Furious, even. But Olivia Okoro, huddled on the freezing stone, felt a tiny, dangerous spark ignite amidst the fear.
He’s not as cold as he pretends.
    He lost control.
He saw something he didn’t expect.
And that slam against the wall? That wasn’t the sound of a man discarding broken things. That was the sound of a man… rattled.
The gilded cage felt different. The air crackled with unspoken tension. The game had just gotten infinitely more dangerous.
Olivia wrapped her arms around herself, staring at the blank metal door. A slow, determined thought cut through the fear: If I can rattle him… what else can I do?
    TO BE CONTINUED...

You’ll find little comfort in either." He reached the door.

    THEME: *INVEST WISELY*

    MEMORIZE
    Matthew 6:20
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

    READ
    Matthew 6:19-21
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*All earthly acquisitions end here on earth.*

    MESSAGE
If you are blind, you depend on those with eyes to see. If you are deaf, you might need the ears of others to hear sounds. To understand the law of investment, we need to listen to the best and the wisest investors.

The Lord Jesus Christ is undoubtedly the best and the wisest investor of all times.

In today's text, He showed us that the earth and all the investments of men in it have no future because they have no security.

God, the Father who made it, has marked it for destruction.

Unfortunately, many are blind and can not see what lies ahead.

Peter the apostle showed us from his divine insight into the plans of God for our fallen earth in
    2 Peter 3:10
"....the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

Wise investors consider certain factors before investing in a place; they consider the future of the place, they consider the security of the place, and they also consider the return on their investment over time.

The Lord Jesus Christ in His first advent never owned anything on the earth, not because it is wrong to do so, but the law of priority made Him to focus on the immediate priority of His first season on the earth. He came to die for man's redemption and to relocate all who are redeemed by His sacrifice to a better country with insurance and assurance.

Based on this premises, the Lord Jesus Christ invested all His life for the purpose of redeeming mankind and creation into God's original purpose in predestination. Herein lies the wisdom of the wisest investor of all times.

*Your investment reveals your wisdom or the lack of it.*

Apparently, most investors on earth are ignorant of these truth, hence the rat race of material acquisitions.

I saw an impressive and very massive architectural marvel online, and I had a cocktail of emotions at men's cravings and earthly pursuits of vanities...

An Indian billionaire owns a White House replica mansion that sits atop a 34-story skyscraper in Bengaluru, India.

The mansion has its own helipad, gardens, salon, gym, indoor heated pool, outdoor infinity pool, and a host of other luxuries, all with breathtaking 360-degree views of the city. Interestingly, though, the owner hasn’t had the chance to step foot in the mansion..."

From the fall of man, mankind has deviated from God's original purpose and plan to devise all manner of ways to live their lives for their own ambitions, pleasures, and wild desires.

Men labour and run all through life, chasing after things that can not be taken out of this world with them.

*All earthly acquisitions end here on earth.*

If you do not know the Lord or His plan for your life, or have enough discipline to stay focused on your purpose and lane in life, you will drift away from purpose and join the vanity race of blind men who live only for material acquisition and financial gains.

We must keep in mind that things are meant to be tools and drivers of purpose.

Your specific assignment from the Lord will and should determine the measure of things required or needed to fulfil God's purpose for your life.

Everything that is over and above your immediate needs for family upkeep and the assignment ought to be converted into God's work and charitable donation.

We do not need so much to be happy in life, and we certainly do not need to look far to see those who need the excess around us.

There are poor people all around us. Use what you have been given to bless people around you, and let's make this world a better place in Jesus' name.

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Prayerfully meditate on today's devotional guide again.
    2. Be determined to convert your earthly goods into heavens currency for your eternal use by investing into God's kingdom.
    3. Make serving God and soul winning your topmost priority.

    REMEMBER
*All earthly acquisitions end here on earth.*

    PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. Help me to see what is most important to you and to focus on it early. Deliver me from pursuing what is eternally useless. I receive grace to invest wisely for eternity. Amen.

When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

    2
Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,

All the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to His blood,

    3
See! from His head, His hands, His
    feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down!
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

That were an offering far too small:
    Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

  • My sweetheart,

I know that I am guilty of failing to express my true feelings for you. I admit that I am not very talkative and putting my feelings into words is definitely not easy for me.
However, I want you to know that my feelings for you are as strong as on the day I proposed to you. Actually, as time goes by, my love for you grows stronger and this heart to heart bond is everlasting and unbreakable.

I haven’t told you lately that you are the reason I have happiness in my life and even after long days of work your presence soothes all my aches and troubles. I haven’t told you lately that I would be lost without you; that life would have less meaning, less color, less excitement, less of everything … I haven’t told you often enough how much I love you.
So now, with this occasion, I want to etch in stone my love and devotion to you so that it will be there for all eternity and you would never need to doubt it. Ever.
Yes, my true feelings are of eternal love for you. I love you, indeed I love you very much.

  • SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE

    BY DR PST PAUL ENENCHE
    DATE: 23RD JUNE, 2025

    TOPIC: LIFE IS A SEED

SCRIPTURE: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. GALATIANS 6:7.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Living is seeding.

It is a proven fact that when the purpose of life is not understood, abuse or disaster is inevitable. There are many people whose lives and destinies crashed because they did not understand the purpose of life. They lived anyhow and ended anyhow.

So, today, we are looking at one of the crucial facts of life that we must understand if we must live well and end well in this life and in eternity, and that is: The Fact that LIFE IS A SEED.

How we live today determines where we end tomorrow. Every action is a seed that is going to produce a harvest. The way you are living is the seed you are sowing. Living is seeding. Your relationship with your fellow human beings, your character and lifestyle are all seeds. And these seeds will produce their harvest in the future.

Beloved, note this: how you live in time determines where you end in eternity. When you lie against your neighbour or steal money, you sow a seed that you will reap in time and in eternity. When you step into someone’s home, push out the woman and marry the man, you are sowing seeds that will generate for you regrettable harvest in time and in eternity. When you fail a student because she refuses to compromise by giving you a bribe or sleeping with you, you are sowing a seed that you are going to reap in time and in eternity.

Beloved, life is a seed. Every time you do something good you are sowing a good seed. And every time you do something bad; you are sowing a bad seed. The question is, what seed are you sowing with your life now?

    Remember this: Living is seeding.

    ASSIGNMENT (S):
    1. Always think about the consequences and implications of your action before taking it.

    2. Ask God for mercy wherever you sowed a bad seed.

    3. Live by the Word of God through His grace.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for grace to please you in all I do. Help me to consistently sow the right seeds, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: The Fact of Life

    DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 136-138

QUOTE: If you are going to reign in this life as a king, one of the major ways you will do that is by the power of character and integrity. Culled from the Book, Who Are You by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: Octopuses have three hearts and blue blood.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Lord’s mercy deliver you from the consequences of the wrong seeds sown in the past in Jesus Name.

  • * The right one will love you unconditionally. Finding someone who genuinely cares about you and your well-being is extremely hard to find this day and age. Time and time again, I hear about someone walking away because things became "too hard." It's heartbreaking to see people give up on love so easily. You deserve someone who fights for you when things get difficult, and they aren't gonna be like "you know what? It's over" and throw everything away. *

    * If that person really values you, there's no such thing as you being "too complicated." There's no such thing as you being "too crazy." There's no such thing as you being "too much." The right person will love you for who you are, quirks and all, and they'll be willing to make it work, despite what the obstacle is and whatever the problem may be, because losing you is never an option. No argument is going to push them away far enough, no fight is going to cause them to lose feelings, and no disagreement is going to make them drift away from you. *

    * No matter how bad things get, they would never let it outweigh how much they care about you. No matter how dysfunctional things become, they would never let it take away the value of your relationship with them. A person who truly values you would never put themselves in a position to lose you. They'll hold on tight, work through the tough times, and prioritize your love and connection above all else. And when the dust settles, they'll be there, holding your hand, and loving you for all eternity. *

    DATE: MONDAY 23RD JUNE 2025

    THEME: *LOOK UP*

    MEMORIZE
    Luke 21:28
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

    READ
    Luke 21:28-36
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
    And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*Watch and pray always and look up because the end is at the door.*

    MESSAGE
When everything fails as surely as they will, men will be compelled to look up.

Looking up is the only direction that seems to be making sense in these last days considering the global confusion amongst the nations.

Uncertainty fills the air over the nations of the world; global leaders are confused as to what next to expect.

However, behind the scenes of the global unrest is the mighty hand of God moving the hand of the clock ticking towards the end of all things.

He is moving swiftly to round up His agenda for the nations and by so doing, He is inadvertently compelling all men to look up, because He alone has all the answers that men are looking desperately for.

These are the days that the knowledge of the LORD is the strength of men.

As the strength of strong men begins to fail, only those who know the LORD will stay strong enough to keep moving.
In today's text, the Lord Jesus Christ using the fig tree, illustrated the timeline of His return to the earth. The fig tree is figurative of the nation of Israel which became a nation in 1948, and the Lord said, that the generation that witnessed the restoration of Israel [the fig tree] shall not pass away until the last prophecy of the end is fulfilled.

We are that generation that saw Israel became a nation again, we are seeing prophecies fulfilled at an alarming rates.

    Therefore, the warning of the Lord Jesus Christ should be taken more seriously than ever;
Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

Beloved, whatever you do and wherever you may be, watch and pray always and look up because the end is at the door...

Most importantly, be sure you have surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ for eternity. Tell everyone that is precious to you that Jesus Christ the King of all kings is coming back.

Turn away from every secret sins, keep yourself pure. keep your relationship with the LORD super tight.

Be prepared to meet the LORD!!!

    Shalom, maranatha!

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Prayerfully meditate on today's devotional guide again.
    2. Be determined to keep your eyes on the LORD always.
    3. Pray for the grace to watch and pray always.

    REMEMBER
*Watch and pray always and look up because the end is at the door.*

    PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. I receive grace to watch and pray always and to keep my eyes on you dear Lord in Jesus' name. Amen.

*THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE* DATE: MONDAY 23RD JUNE 2025 THEME: *LOOK UP* MEMORIZE Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. READ Luke 21:28-36 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *Watch and pray always and look up because the end is at the door.* MESSAGE When everything fails as surely as they will, men will be compelled to look up. Therefore, the warning of the Lord Jesus Christ should be taken more seriously than ever; Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Beloved, whatever you do and wherever you may be, watch and pray always and look up because the end is at the door... ACTION STEPS 1.
